You get a contract for this amount at which point the audiologist checks on you multiple times a year, changes out the units about every three or four months, and is available for any problems. As a price comparison, when I got over the ear Phonak units seven years ago, I paid $3700 and was done. During the pandemic, my masks kept getting caught in them and eyeglasses always disturb them. They work well, however. Then, two years ago, I tried the Starkey units which fit into the ear lobe and have a little pull tab. They cost $5355. They work well but the batteries need changing every two to three days. It is a battle to hear well, to be comfortable, and to feel confident that I don't have to ask people to repeat themselves. So far so good with the Lyrics. Time will tell.

I love it too but can't afford it and I was always back and forth it is the best sound it does not last as long as this add said but the last year of having Lyric was the best but you have to pay every year I add for 4 years this year I would have to pay &3600 now I'm a widow can't afford no I'm upset but that's life but I went to better hearing they were good if anything went wrong they would fit me in to check it out I'm not knocking it I would have it back tomorrow if I could good luck to you all
