      I havent even watched the video, and I figured there wouldnt be. and yours is the top message LOL ... I truly love Dave and he's done so much for people with some truly good advice that most people can apply to their lives... but, man he's decieved on several important topics... like one time, he was in awe over a caller who said they were making huge amounts of money... Dave asked him what... the guy who owned a small pharmacy... Dave was very enamored with this business... I heard this after I saw what these "cartels" really do, watching them murder my father, I wanted to barf. We are all affected by the deciever on some counts... and the guy talking about how the insurance is "for preventing burdoning my family"... well what they really do is burden the family who has to care for them when they have horrible reactions to their snake oil products... thanks for reading, I needed this therapy today... goin back to God now... I need one more drop of colloidal silver in my to finish off my pink eye infection... the time and money I save by knowing that most things dont need a doctor and I know tons of home remedies... Thank you Jesus!

    He has a close friend in the US who had major heart surgery and is recovering.

    His insurance covered a majority of the bill but not all of it.

    I've had insurance for 12 years and I've been healthy up until I wasn't. Isnt that how it usually is? An $80,000 procedure and I'll be paying $4,000. The premium and out-of pocket payments over the years did not equal $80,000. I'd say paying insurance is a better deal than not having it at all.

    • @liquidmetal9647
      @liquidmetal9647 Месяц назад

      Yeah, but there are a lot of people who pay in hundreds of thousands of dollars over the span of decades that don't ever have medical issues before retirement or that don't have medical issues that amount to what they paid into it.
      Example: I have always paid around $7,000/yr in premiums. If I did that from age 18yo until 67yo (retirement age for my generation), then I will have paid in $343,000 just in premiums alone. My deductible / out-of-pocket max is $9,500 - and my insurance doesn't pay anything until that deductible is met. I have never met or exceeded this amount in a years time - which means that for the past 30yrs, I have paid for all of my medical expenses, not the insurance company. So I am paying for all my medical expenses while also paying the premiums.
      "If you’re offered health coverage by your employer, you can buy insurance through the Marketplace instead. But you may not qualify for a premium tax credit and other savings based on your income." So even Marketplace isn't beneficial if your company offers you insurance. So there really isn't a free and competitive market with health insurance, like how there is with something like car insurance.
      If I were laid off tomorrow, then I could only keep the insurance (that already sucks and is too expensive), if I paid for Cobra which is even more expensive and not a realistic option for many.
      If you do have a major medical emergency FMLA only overs you for 12 weeks before the company is allowed to fire you which means you lose the health insurance after that - and that's assuming that the persons employer has more than 50 people, because FMLA doesn't cover small businesses.

    Buying insurance is helping others in time if need as well as that of a community helping u when things go wrong. Its no different than giving to the church. Yes its a financial product but accomplishes the same thing. If u believe that God will protect u and keep u healthy still buy the insurance as your premiums help others that are not as fortunate. Investing in a product that supports others does not go against or detract from your beliefs.
