"It grew on me", Michael Huber's polite way of saying most of the changes are for the worse, they removed things from the game that were political commentary on the US and a portrayl that they feared would offend the Chinese market. Other cultures can laugh at stereotypes of themselves, why can't the Chinese? I'm Scottish and often we're portrayed hilariously stereotypically and anyone here who would be offended by it would be laughed at by everyone else. The checkpoints are great, but they broke the progression system of the game to make it much easier, when they could've had two modes, one with old style and one with new style. I think RE2/3 Remake did a better job in this regard and that was a full remake. Messed up imo.
The option to speed up time is great though. Better than sitting around and wasting time because you only have 30 mins of in-game time and can't do anything substantial

And internet is believing "they're being sued for very generic patents that everyone already does"
@@hododod246 You're totally right and let's be honest. Nintendo nominated Pocketpair by name, didn't specify Palword, it's probablly gonna be also Craftopia, otherwise the Pokémon Company would've gone alone like they've gone alone for any other Pokémon related thing.
the problem with Max coming back is that you can look at Before the Storm and it's so clear that it's not the same people writing the characters because Chloe is a completely different character vs the original game so is it going to be the same here where Max is Max in name only and she lacks any personality from the original?
Hard disagree. Chloe was perfectly in character in my opinion, the fandom just has these rose tinted glasses when it comes to acknowledging how kind of awful (affectionate) she was as a person.
@@RosePosiepuddingpie well, you're just wrong, in Before the Storm there is a clear progression of Chloe becoming more accepting of her stepdad and her being better with her mom, then you play the original and Chloe is 11/10 antagonistic to her stepdad and completely ignores her mom, also her stepdad was way more understanding of Chloe by the end of Before the Storm, then you play the original and he treats her like a stranger
the fact is that Before the Storm is very disconnected from consistency with the original
all you have to do is play Before the Storm and then the original back to back, the transition is jarring
@@Aid3nn33 Chloe is ONLY accepting of David and vice verse if the PLAYER chooses it. If not, she's as antagonistic to him and he to her as they were in the OG.
Just like how Chloe can ask Rachel for a kiss instead of the tattoo, when we know canonly that Rachel got the tattoo instead.
I'm not wrong, you're leaving out key details.
@@RosePosiepuddingpie so you can chose to play a game is a way that directly contradicts the sequel, nice, you just described bad writing, thanks for proving my point
Anyone who complains about Astro Bot is just a joyless, petty hater.
Huber putting the whole easy allies on his back every week 😮
a friendly reminder that RPG Time Legend of Wright is a game that exists
So when do we think that Nintendo will come for The Plucky Squire for....
Why would they???
@sirmel11 I don't think they necessarily will or would. It's a comment to draw parallels to the whole Palworld situation. Plucky Squire has gameplay elements that Zelda, Mario, and Punch Out, to name a few. Nintendo's lawyers could come up with a legal argument similar to Palworld.
Don't think they actually would, though since Plucky isn't necessarily a take on their highest grossing IP.
@@ProfessorDrDro Yeah but it's no similar. Has anyone else done throwing a ball to catch monsters? And regardless, they're probably going after Palworld because they got so big and the designs are similar.
Pokemon just copied dragon quest characters, the hypocrisy over there is insane.
Lol, no they didn't.
@@sirmel11 actually they did. Go look it up. Scary how close they are
@@sirmel11 Pokemon is trash anyway
@@sirmel11clip that NINTENDO is trash 🗑️. 2 decades behind in tech
I hate Nintendo so much. Never will I buy their console or give them a dollar. Crazy how they shit on their community and they worship them back.
Nintendo needs to be taken down a peg, their 30fps games aint even that great
I bet the guy who is hating on Pokemon hasn't played Palworld since it came out. Or he hasn't played at all and is just talking.
Capsule toys are normal in Japan. It's weird to get excited about wanting Nintendo to be sued.
Not weird at all. They've participated in some scummy practices for ages now, tine to maybe shake them up a bit.
And Pokémon didn’t copy dragon quest monster designs?! Why is everyone so quick to assume that Pokémon Company has any ounce of shame? Your co-host said they had “ ingenuity” lmao
Damn relax but I understand what you're saying. That's just how well the Pokémon company has dominated the market
I'm not defending Nintendo but given it's a patent lawsuit and not a copyright one I don't see how this is relevant. We don't know why they are suing but given it's not a copyright lawsuit that means it's not over the creatures.
Palworld is only better to you if you haven't played Pokemon in a while. Of course the most negative guy on here brought up the most hateful take.
Man it is so difficult to listen game media's take about ai. There is so much misinformation about ai in general. Guys sorry to tell you buy you lost this fight few decades ago. Ai has been heavily used for a very long to time. Most of the devs in the tech are onboarded.
The technology itself isn't the problem, it's the wanton destruction in the race to try to create something that will likely never work as well as it's pitched. Corporate theft and waste are rampant, flooding the internet with absolute garbage at the cost of jobs for highly skilled professionals, all just because this is the current investor buzzword. You don't have to know much about AI to see the damage that's being done all around us. -Bloodworth
