I'll soon be 63. I saw THE REAL Gone With the Wind at the theater when I was a small girl. My Grandmother made me and my cousins dresses with the hoop skirt included. I have read the book from this sequel, and it is nothing like this movie. None the less I still enjoyed seeing the beautiful dresses and hats. ✌🏻♥️
I'm 60 and I can't believe I didn't know this existed. I loved the movie, Gone With the Wind, but I don't like sequels... especially with different actors. However, I'm a huge Timothy Dalton fan and only watched this because of him. Let me say that I wasn't disappointed. The actress playing Scarlett was incredible and sounded exactly like Vivien Leigh. The production was excellent, and I was emotionally moved on several occasions. But the best thing for me was getting to watch the extremely talented and GORGEOUS Timothy Dalton. In my opinion, he was the ONLY actor for this role. ❤❤❤❤❤
The servants don’t come to scarlets aid when she’s screaming earlier, but do when she yells with a knife in her hand..dumb. Loved the entire series though.
That was my first reaction too. Then I remembered the British Artistocracy had 'privilege'. I think the movie or series Scarlett stands on its own. If not thinking about it being a continuation of another book.
