I'll soon be 63. I saw THE REAL Gone With the Wind at the theater when I was a small girl. My Grandmother made me and my cousins dresses with the hoop skirt included. I have read the book from this sequel, and it is nothing like this movie. None the less I still enjoyed seeing the beautiful dresses and hats. ✌🏻♥️

I'm 60 and I can't believe I didn't know this existed. I loved the movie, Gone With the Wind, but I don't like sequels... especially with different actors. However, I'm a huge Timothy Dalton fan and only watched this because of him. Let me say that I wasn't disappointed. The actress playing Scarlett was incredible and sounded exactly like Vivien Leigh. The production was excellent, and I was emotionally moved on several occasions. But the best thing for me was getting to watch the extremely talented and GORGEOUS Timothy Dalton. In my opinion, he was the ONLY actor for this role. ❤❤❤❤❤

Back in that day, a man could treat a woman like property.
No such thing as abuse and rape if you knew, dated the man.
Hell, it was legal to abuse your wife in the United States until 1970s...
Society even accepted it.A married woman was merely a man's property after marriage. Yes, you could call the police they'd come and ask the two to play nice now and leave.
Look it up. A married man could legally beat his wife in the United States? Answer until laws were passed in the 1970s. Each state verified. Sickening but FACT

They learn how to perfect a split personality early on. Glad he revealed all his true violent colors before ... *Had to learn how to process death & recognize love in ourselves & others, a theme that runs throughout. Well Done. --🍒

When I first saw GWTW it was a re-released. It was on the big screen. At the time I never realized that my ancestors were actually in the Civil War, and one died in battle. If I had known I would have enjoyed or appreciated it more, especially the part where the families waited for the names of the dead to be released. As it happened to my great-great grandparents as their son died. Even though I am English/Irish heritage I am glad to be American.

I think the movie or series Scarlett stands on its own. If not thinking about it being a continuation of another book. The only thing I don't like is the end that they are both going to give up their own homes. I don't think it's realistic that they're just going to travel around indifferently forever. At least one of them will want to have a permanent home somewhere especially for their child, but maybe that's something "to think about tomorrow."

I have observed "Gone With The Wind movie"; a class of soc. dominance , the treating woman no better then there horse
's or stock. Women when married - lost income, freedom , brains, feelings the only thing shes was good for was pleasing and making babies with no feeling ; a gilted cage is still a cage. This film seems to strive and indicate love , some autonomous of emotional acculturation. The sets, clothing, acting all top noch, noble and grand. When watching I became the film; void of my physical reality. Temothy Dalton I felt his intent, esp.the last kiss in part four..wow- grate actor, love the twinkle in his eyes...(.i.e.:.. From .Flash Gorden, -- tks mae)

Fos Trotter aren't a running breed, especially fox hunting and Kentucky Derby race house.
They, Fox Trotters, have a specific Trott and a Gauter for competition So why do they keep refererring to a Fox Trotter breed, is misleading info. Completely false. as a fox hunting breed or Kentucky Derby??
Other than that, I'm loving this mini series
Quarter Horses are a fast running breed but entirety too heavy stock for racing in the Kentucky Derby, I believe theyre actually Tennessee Walkers, in the Kentucky Derby and Fox Hunting horses.

My grandmother took my sister and I to the Fox Theatre to see GWTW on the 60s. This sequel is good, but it's moral values are low and trashy. I have noticed that the British actor Sean bean always plays the bad guy in everything even in this mini series.

Thank you for loading this film ( all 4 parts ) of Scarlett . I truly enjoyed this film as much as Gone With the Wind . Most of all no one else could portrayed Mammy like the late / legendary Hattie McDaniel ... RIP ❤💐⚘️🌹🌺🌻🌼🌷🪻🪷🌸🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This lady episode of this sequel is VERY trying to watch, n I used to own the VHS tapes, yet EVERY time I see it including this one I like it less n less, n find it almost unwatchable!!! The entire Lord Fenton part is extremely difficult to watch,! As a matter of fact I think I must end this video n not ever watch this last part AGAIN!!! VERY awful subject matter that could have been changed to make a BETTER storyline that was a tribute to the end of a beautiful movie instead of a disagreeable denouement!!

The entire thing is uncomfortable. Not the writing or acting but the story.

Yes, I agree, those parts are quite difficult to watch so I have to skip over them….& REALLY unnecessary. And when it came to Scarlett’s previous shooting of the Yankee soldier, the British REALLY seemed to have challenges in differentiating between self-defense and cold-blooded murder: a huge leap between the two!
