What a great opportunity, looks like you guys had a blast!!!
What a great video!!
Hell yeah love Bill team!
Um I going to need that 30amp fuse back now 🤣✌️
Looks like a fun time! Curious about what advantage the split carbs give? More direct path down the intake ports?
Yes, with the 5" bore space we're able to get the barrels to line up better with each intake port. This allows us to tune each barrel of the carb to each cylinder based off of the data logger readings.
Thanks for the comment/ question
@@BadInfluenceGarage - Thanks for the response! So more even AFR’s in each cylinder which is often an issue with carbs. Sweet!
Yes, if you can setup and "think" of each cylinder as it's own "engine" you can fine tune the combination and find some very big gains.
You guys might wanna switch from Hoosiers to Goodyear’s or Firestone’s you’ll get a lot better grip and launch’s and you can learn to cut a very low light every time without guessing or hardly ever red lighting, buy a practice tree from summit or Jeggs you all do know that from the time the last guy goes full stage there’s exactly 0.4 of a second before the green pops and by knowing that you can work out a system such as a count down to launch which is what most pro’s do to cut there lights on pro tree, and I were them I think I would be running 2 Holly 1250 dominator instead of what looks like 4 little 450cfm 4 barrels, 2 dominators would probably perform better for sure but that one gallon tank wouldn’t work anymore you’d go through that burning out and staging
😂🤣😂🤣
say what
Looks some of the top guys, Carr, Morton, Pluchino, to name a couple, have it wrong then ?
What type of comment would you expect from someone thinking he's Smokey Yunick ? Looks like he knows everything, All these Pro Stock guys must have it all Wrong, according to Smokey.
Looks like KAASE heads on the car. Chevy never made a hemi head. Oh, you did not hear the story? Since JK"s motors were dominating pro stock. The sanctioning body told JK if he didn't show the bowtie boys how to make the hemi heads. Anyone who used a Kaase engine would have to carry more weight, be penalized for use of his engines. So rather than loose that part of his business he acquiesced and passed on his hemi head design. I heard JK tell the story, all to true. So those bowtie guys are all running Ford heads.
Chevrolet, but uses a Hemi engine !!!!
So, what the Hell does that gotta do with anything ? Pretty much Every Mountain Motor Pro Stock running Hemi Style Heads, just like IHRA Pro Stock. Look at all the Kaase Powered Fords running Hemi Heads. I don't understand your comment.
There running 5" Bore Spacing, what type of Combustion Chamber would you run ??? C'mon man.
