I'm more of a Top Sportsman guy, but I love MM Pro Stock very much..Hell 500 in PS, Top Sportsman, Pro Mod, MM Pro Stock, Pro Nitrous & Comp Eliminator...Fast doorslammer are the best!!!
NHRA dropped the ball IMO Pro Stock was supposed to be an open class that used factory parts I thought, now it's big brother says no! like everything else. xx block xx head mechanical injection/ injector size limit nitrous / 1 shot of xx pounds? idk all that much about nitrous Cubic inch limit and let the engine builders have a ball with the rest. Just my opinion but it could be an interesting class like that I think.
@@NubsWithGunsProstock never was about factory parts. Just 3 years after it started, racers started using tube frame chassis cars and using engines never found in the car. Prostock for most of its life is really just gasser funny cars.
Chevy never made a hemi. This engine is a copy of a Ford Kaase head. The IHRA told J Kaase if he did not show Sonny L his hemi heads they would factor anyone running his engines. So, in reality that Chevy has a Ford design under the hood. LMAO
@@DannyHarris-o5g Wrong- Kaase was told by the organization to show Sonny L how to make these heads or have his engines be penalized. Chevy never, ever made a hemi head. I saw the interview with J Kaase, and it was verified by several racers including John M when he drove a Chevy. These Chevy bodied cars are all, if they have the hemi heads using a Ford, Jon K design. You are flat out wrong.
Great video could watch it over and over again and again!

Really it’s an Aries head… not ford design… I had a 540 that way. Do you study? Of even read books.

Doesn’t anyone run 1/4 mile anymore?
This is boring
1/8 mile always disappointed me. In my world, that's half track.
I hate it with a passion!
I really don’t like eighth mile racing 1320 is the best thing I’m so sick of the street outlaws reality show and 660 babies
Well you wouldn’t get to race much here in Ga the insurance is to expensive. These boys are running 230 mph all most in the 1/8
1/8th mile is more intense/closer. in 1/4 after 600' cars are tapped out and are just riding that last half out.
@@TwinTurbosProductions1/8 th mile more intense ?
@@cavindent6973 you have 330 feet to chase down a car vs. 660
