NHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock was at the NHRA Supergrib Thunder Valley Nationals for their second race of their season. It was an 8 car field and many extreme pro stock doorcars went home. Why NHRA persists with the 500 inch cars is beyond me.

500 cubic inch is just NHRA's thing. It is their rule set and has been since they established such rules for the NHRA. I enjoy them both. There are elements of pro stock, even for the MMPS guys, that I'd like to see change. The class I'm most satisfied with at the moment is Factory X.

I love the Pro Stock class, whether it be the 500's or the MM's. Its ALL MOTOR and no BS. Its the Best Class to watch and enjoy.
