  • NHRA Mountain Motor Pro Stock was at the NHRA Supergrib Thunder Valley Nationals for their second race of their season. It was an 8 car field and many extreme pro stock doorcars went home. See the round by round action at Bristol Dragway here on Monday Morning Racer. The next event that MMPS will be at is the Virginia Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park.

Appreciate you watching and commenting! Pro stock is great and I've always been fascinated with mountain motor edition of it since first seeing it.

@@MondayMorningRacer We had Pro Stock at the Pod a couple of weeks ago at the Main Event. It was great to see them back after an absence of a few years. They're so consistent and competitive.

Why NHRA persists with the 500 inch cars is beyond me.

500 cubic inch is just NHRA's thing. It is their rule set and has been since they established such rules for the NHRA. I enjoy them both. There are elements of pro stock, even for the MMPS guys, that I'd like to see change. The class I'm most satisfied with at the moment is Factory X.
