That trade is looking really, really ROUGH for Boston now. I know it was b/c Boston didnt want to pay Mookie the big contract, but then they sure did give a lot to Devers later on, so really not sure of that trade strategy. TBH, you never trade a player like Betts b/c he not only is a great player, but what intangibles and leadership he brings and changes a team chemistry for the better

Lol it's the World Series, I hope he's engaged.. Its only building his legacy with another ring. I played with Jake Peavy in San Diego in the early 2000's (I was young, and on the bench), but, he ran the dugout injured or not, and it looks like Kersh is the same kinda guy.
