Dave Roberts has been part of the two of the greatest Base ball run in history I've witnessed. His steal that caused the run for the Red Sox to win it all doesn't get mentioned enough. That steal had an domino effect on that game and the rest of the series iirc.
Yawp some plays can have a major impact, Imagine if Mookie doesn't run out that grounder to Rizzo and it's 3 outs...but instead we survive and score 4 more runs after that. Machado would've probably cost us this game if he had been on our team with his "i'm not johnny hustle" attitude.
