Nice update and overview. The scenery is great and coming along nicely. That the coal facility is top notch, for sure. I like the position signals, I got run on them quite often, before Norfolk Satan removed most of them, along with the NYC signals. Hopefully, I’ll see you at York. An excellent video, as always.
I'm excited for you, Nick. It's been a great experience learning so many new things, building a detailed scenic layout. When I started 4 years ago, I thought I was doing something unique by building a layout of my hometown using postwar elements in conjunction with modern scenery elements. My bubble got burst when I found out that's the description of a high rail 0-gauge layout design😊. I used painted Menards tubular track and added wooden ties and ballast and the Lionel UCS track sections and postwar Marx and Lionel turnouts. I make my own turf grass mats out of quilt batting and Woodland scenic turf. I use static grass along the edges of track and structures to break up and add different textures. I delayer the sheets of batting and stretch to thin cobweb like layers and paint green with Krylon Fusion Spanish Moss and add scenery turf while wet. I use hairspray to add additional turf once the paint dries. It can be stretched to let the earth color show through in places for a more natural look along edges of ditches or stretched very thin to look like vines over rock formations and tunnel portals. Pillow batting can be used the same way to make bushes. I also use short pieces of jute twine to make scraggly bushes.

I have 2 or 3 of those coal shovels from lionel and a little advance, take your time putting them together, I lurned that when I was a teenager brother
I think i saw a small batam shovel in one of the booths yesterday that was missing tracka but might work in your coal mine facility
Menards has some lighted cars for a reasonable $ to add some extra ro your layout

That milk car seems to work better than Lionels milk car that shoots the milk containers across the layout ! 😮
I am using the small franks red hot hot sauce bottles to put ballest in and it will make it easier for me to spread it out in-between the rails.
Your train station puts me in mind of the train station from Shining time station where dreams come true.
