The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall greet the Tsar and Tsaritsa of the Bulgarians.

On the 18th of May 2012, Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall hosted a dinner at Buckingham Palace for foreign sovereigns and royalty in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Here the couple greet their guests, Their Majesties the Tsar and Tsaritsa of the Bulgarians.

Si ricorderanno che Simone di Bulgaria era figlio di Giovanna di Savoia? Temo di no, altrimenti non lo inviterebbero, non ho mai visto un solo membro di Casa Savoia, di qualsiasi dei due rami, in queste riunioni insieme agli altri ex regnanti regolarmente invitati.

@@anacletwilliams8315 Certo, per altro Giovanna e Boris si sposarono ad Assisi perché la Principessa era terziaria francescana ed aveva fatto un voto che si sarebbe sposata lì. Simeone fu esecutore testamentario di Re Umberto II, insieme al cugino Maurizio Von Essen-Kessel, figlio di Mafalda di Savoia e discendente della Regina Vittoria.

Elle ne doit faire une révérence qu'aux rois et reines parce qu'elle n'est pas reine elle-même !
C'est une révérence à la fonction, pas à la personne en elle-même et à ce titre je trouve cela très respectueux de la fonction de chef d'état...même si en l'espèce ils ne sont plus chefs d'état mais restent roi et reine des Bulgares jusqu'à leur mort.
