Nice work, and nice project overall. Here's my $.02 on laminate flooring (I replaced something around 1,300 sq ft of old nasty carpet in our house after we bought it!). The tapping block worked best for me when I made sure it was laying flat on the floor, holding it down with my hand and/or foot, and hitting it on the long side. Using it with the short side against the floor plank was always a disaster. I had the same issue with the trim kit against a sliding glass door, hated it from the start. I brought my floor right up to it, and sealed it with black silicon. Looks great in my opinion.
Love these videos, the level of detail is great. Keep them coming!
More to come!

Great tip - I absolutely hated that tap kit and that door piece! Would be interested to give it a try with your method. Cheers
Those cheetah print slides are sexy 😂
