  • I have always been a bargain hunter and a thrifty shopper. If I can make something myself and on the cheap , I will. I have made clothes from bed sheets and duvet sets since the beginning of my sewing and they are an amazing way to save money.
This is my first time using a Mood Pattern. Some free sewing patterns are a little disappointing but I was pleasantly surprised with this one , however I do think my knowledge of sewing clothes helped to achieve a decent outcome.
The fact that there aren't any zips, buttons or other type of fastening makes it a really beginner friendly project.
I hope you enjoy this video, and I think I have finally cracked the audio being a little better - woooo!!
If you don't already , please subscribe and join me on my year of progression and improvement in my sewing.
    Thanks for watching.

I really like your dress, but I agree with you that the shoulder needs to come in a bit. Now you need to sew another one to show us the changes made 😉😉😉

Ha ha now that would be a good idea - I never usually sew the same project again 🤣🤣❤️

Loved watching this! I just discovered your channel and subscribed! You are so close to 1K. I have the same issue with the narrow shoulders and have to make the adjustment on almost all patterns. It really does make a huge difference.

Lovely dress. 👗 The shoulders are the hanger and it’s important that they fit correctly so the rest of the dress 😂😊👗looks like it’s the correct size. I had this cheap T-shirt that I kept reaching for. I finally realized it’s because the shoulders were in the right place made the whole outfit look good. First thing I do with a new pattern is a narrow shoulder adjustment, next is the swayback and then the length. I really really enjoy your channel.❤️🧵

I really really think your right. Those small adjustments make a world of difference. I think you need to bring your shoulders in and get the sleeves working better for you. Half an hour’s extra work for a really really good finish 😍🤣💕

Your dress turned out great❤ I have the same problem with making shoulders sit just so even after making a muslin😮 totally agree with you adding a shoulder roll to the sleeve head makes a huge difference 😊
