- Hey guys! In this vlog I am sharing my next exciting project which is The Springe Jumpsuit by Sew Love Patterns. I have to admit I am slightly scared of this one because a) it's a jumpsuit IYKYK and b) it's working with slippy fabric eeekkkk. But I'm going to be brave and I am collaborating on this project with Sam from @sequingirlie and she is going to hold my hand the whole way.
I finally have the whole vision of what to make and I can't wait to share the next stages with you.

Spray starch will be your friend when it comes to slippery fabrics. Starch the whole fabric after washing rather than your cut pieces as there is a chance it will shrink in one direction (personal experience). Good Luck

Hi Chrissie. Wow -- jumping in with both feet on white polka dots and thin fabric! I've only sewn with rayon knits and one disastrous rayon blouse I made for a friend. I don't have a serger, so the edge finishing takes a long time on woven rayon. I love the collab and am looking forward to future episodes and how your lovely jumpsuit progresses, Antonia

Great vlog Chrissie. I’m a short wheel base person . Good friend is around your height , so we area bit of sight when we’re out ! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the collaboration.,I really enjoyed following the process and discussion you and Sam had. Picked up a few tips and nice to be part of conversation a bit like a fly on the wall !

So interesting it is with feet measurements when I’m used to the metric measurements of cm. Have to look it up every time to have a chance to understand. 😊
