Instead of using the cargo cover, you can also loop the cargo net onto the rear seat upper latch pegs and have the net fit nicely against the back of the back seats. My wife does that to store reusable grocery bags, an extra sweatshirt, etc. back there without cluttering the cargo area. Fold each seat forward, loop the upper net attachment over the peg and fold the seat back.
My favorite mod I’ve added to my 16 SR5 Premium is the Lasfit LED headlight and fog light kits. I’ve got a Bilstein 5100 shock kit install coming soon I’m excited about. 😁
@Vikingsgarage At the beginning of the video there was a cool graphic that comes up on your dash board. I’m How do you get that to come up? I have a 2019 TRD Pro and I’ve never seen mine do that
Any tips on how to turn off dash light when I want to car camp with the back hatch open? I know I have to turn off all lights, but unsure about the other dash light and don’t want to drain battery!
Hi. For the automatic side step, did those come with your truck or you added them? I just got a 2023 TRD off road premium with predator tube steps and I want to switch them to where they come down like when opening the door. Or if you can advise what site i can go look at to order them. Thank you so much for the videos.
Thank you for watching!! Those side steps come stock on some LIMITED trim levels only. I’m pretty, adding it would be quite the project. Different main harnesses.
The OEM tonneau cover is seriously lacking in its intended function due to substantial gaps in coverage at the front and rear. The front gap can be handled by reclining the 2nd row seatbacks to where they touch the cover. Unfortunately, that has them laying pretty far back. I returned mine the very next day. YMMV.
Tell Jim those nifty looking shackles going through the eyelets on either side of his front skid plate are a huge no no. Those eyelets are attached to a flimsy radiator support and he's going to tear it right off if he attempts to pull from there.

there is a trick that you can change your stereo splash screen on power up and power off with a usb drive. Also you can go online and there is a button up on your dash for the auto dimming dash lights. The button is a dummy but it is wired for a working one. Just go online to Amazon and you can buy the button pop the old one out use a zip tie to hold the wires up and snap in the new button now your dash lights will auto darken at night. I have seen where some mount a cargo net up top using the hooks but you need a good sturdy one or it sags badly.
