    Today I would choose my Strat, 56 Les Paul with P90 and ES335 with OX4 pick ups. Tomorrow it might be 58 Les Paul, Tele, ES335.....

    A 339 a great substitute for a 335. Still get the woody tones and vibe. Also way more comfy sitting down.
    Welcome home, man. You're back with your guitar family and friends.

    absolutely a Les Paul No1. Next would be something with P90's like a LP or SG Jr last is a complete toss up between the ES335 or a Tele. Possibly the Tele so you would have guitars with different pickups: a Humbuckers, a P90 and single coils.

    I'd have to keep my coumpound radius maple fretboard sss strat, my p90 Les Paul, and my Flying V with super hot pickups.
    You have a nice collection, though.

    for me and my style it would be a les paul with paf humbuckers, les paul p90 and les paul deluxe. I have all 3 so i'm good
    es 335 and sg are a close 4th and 5th.

    My three would be: a 54 les Paul custom with the staple pickup; an es 330 and a duo jet If only I had the money!

    The great Roy Nichols guitarist with Merle Haggard's band and many others said that you can make a Les Paul sound like a Telcaster by playing near the bridge.

    The original Epiphone Sheraton is a fantastic guitar that's basically a 335, I think John Lee Hooker played one, there's a Japanese JLH Epi signature model, that's a rare one too.

    Tory Slusher, the best guitarist in the world plays a 149.99 fesley. She makes magic with it. It’s all in your fingers. Period. Fender and Gibson have been ripping us off for 60 years. Amps and pedals are bullshit, too.

    So glad the premise of the "Coffee chat" is still alive in the goose brain...
    Please keep it UP ...and also I'd dig some clips from Cuba.
    There's something so magical about all things Cuban, the dance-able jazz rock,
    with a groove like no other and the women (>sigh

    My 1994 Les Paul Studio, with an Ebony fingerboard. It just sounds so amazing. My 2018 Fender Strat, just plays and sounds amazing. My 1993 SG with the brightest humbuckers. Gosh this killed me!!!

    Good to see you back for a coffee chat, Ramon! ☕️
    My holy trinity: Les Paul Standard; Strat and Tele - predictable, perhaps but the Tele has to be a self-build partscaster! Actually, I could swap the Strat for another partscaster Tele - one isn’t enough 🙂👍

  • @johnburns5783
    @johnburns5783 5 месяцев назад

    You mean, you couldn’t live without your Les Paul copy ? Only Gibson make the Les Paul. Your Telecaster copy? Only Fender make the Telecaster and finally your ES 335 copy? , only Gibson makes the ES 335 😉😉

    • @TheGuitarShow

      wrong - Navigator Tele, Navigator strat, Navigator 335 & Daniels Les Paul! Thats the official names like it or not!

    • @johnburns5783
      @johnburns5783 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@TheGuitarShow Ahh so anyone can make a Les Paul ? I think Gibson might just have something to say about that. They are technically copies, none the less.

      @@johnburns5783 let me know when gibson make a good LP because the Murphy lab back refinish I just did was the worst LP I've seen plus a gap between the headstock veneer and neck and they just let that out, truly shocking and shame on them.

      @@johnburns5783 Gibson don’t get close to the 1950s bursts sorry to tell you that. I’ve played 10 real bursts check the Bob and Ramon show and you’ll see me playing them. Thanks 🙏 peace and love!

    • @johnburns5783
      @johnburns5783 4 месяца назад +1

      @danielsguitars1659 but seriously, quality issues aside, you make copies of LP's , not actual LP's . Which as everyone knows only Gibson make LP's. I made my own Flying V some years ago. In some respects its better than Gibson make, but I wouldn't dare sell it as a Flying V
