    What do you think? Would you camp in this tent? Let me know in the comments below!

      I got one second hand, and it is roomier than I expected, fitting me and two grandkids. I love it, and thanks to your video, I was able to break it down, lol. I actually stick my under blanket and sleeping bag inside the carrier.

      @@truuluvv That's so cool! You must have gotten the bigger version. I thought that one looked the coolest :)

    Just received mine today and spent an hour trying to close it up with no luck. Now that I've watched this video, and my heart rate has begun to slow, I'll try it again!

    Your video did help with teardown, but I wouldn't say teardown is fast or easy. It's very hard to visualize what becomes a figure 8. I'm not sure I'll want to set it up again now that I've achieved the miracle of collapsing it into the bag! The company would do well to include a link to an instruction video, but thankfully you have one that works.

      Ha ha…I get that. I felt the same way at first, but once you practice it a few times it’s actually pretty easy. It’s like tying your shoes. Might seem daunting at first, but once you learn the trick, it’s simple. Thanks for watching!

      Ha ha…yeah, this one really does make it hard to consider other traditional style tents. Sets up so fast!

    I wonder how can I carry this on my bike when bikepacking ?

      Great idea! I think you could find a way to strap it to something with the backpack straps it has connected to the carrying case.

    Just ordered it on Amazon, your link to their page did not show the 1 person tent.
    Maybe they are discontinuing it?

    • @TheTravelerToolKit
      @TheTravelerToolKit  5 месяцев назад

      No, it’s still there :) If you look in the gig description you’ll see that I left links to the 4 person, 2 person, and 1 person tents. They are all labeled, but the 1 person is the last one listed. Still time to cancel your Amazon order and use my link to get 10% off :)

    Realistically, setup includes taking out of the bag up to staking it down. No one can do that in 3 seconds. Worst case scenario, remove from bag, open, climb inside. Still will take more than 3 seconds. That being said, I'm going to buy one because it doesn't take long to set up or break down.

    • @TheTravelerToolKit
      @TheTravelerToolKit  3 месяца назад

      Yeah, if you count all those steps it’s definitely not 3 seconds…Still pretty quick though :) I think you’ll like it!

    What about the quality? I would gladly pay more if well built.

    • @TheTravelerToolKit
      @TheTravelerToolKit  6 месяцев назад

      Totally agree! At less than $80, I would call this above average quality. It seems to be will built. This style of tent is meant to be lightweight, so keep that in mind.

    I like the way they designed the windows. I wish more tents were zipper the windows from the inside like that. In warm climates it often rains but you need max ventilation. Getting out in the middle of the night to put rain flys on is a horrible tent design imo

    • @TheTravelerToolKit
      @TheTravelerToolKit  7 месяцев назад

      Totally agree! Cross ventilation is so important. Thanks for watching!

    What's the point of a tent review that hasn't been tested through rain storms?

    • @TheTravelerToolKit
      @TheTravelerToolKit  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for watching. Videos like this aren’t meant to be a comprehensive review but rather summary of features and initial impressions on the product. When it comes to outdoor equipment, there’s no way to test it in every possible scenario before making a video :)

      Not everyone wants a tent that goes through those elements I guess I guess it just depends on the purpose of how you want to use it

    • @TheTravelerToolKit
      @TheTravelerToolKit  5 месяцев назад

      That’s also true…few things are worse than camping in the rain :)
