Awesome views mate and a Hell of a good test for the tent, that proved it's bloody good. Great video... However, I have to say it's exstreamly dangerous useing a camping stove inside a tent . BUT if you're going to, at the very least put a fire blanket down.

Great review, love the tent. Bought a 3 persons 8 years ago. Wanted to know if the 2 persons was diffrent because i want to replace mine. @@YONDERMOUNTAINADVENTURES i was surprised too, saw in your video before that nothing got wet. my nightcat came from amazon, so i hope it's no china replica. 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Simon, I've got a couple questions about that Nightcat Pop-Up Tent you reviewed in your video, if you don't mind. First off, how much condensation did you experience inside it? As you know, I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to condensation - I like to have full control over the ventilation even if it means putting up with more of it. Don't get me wrong, I really can't stand those "ultra-breathable" tents that let all the midges and flies in. But I also don't mind a little condensation with a pop-up tent like the Nightcat. It means the thing isn't leaking all over and letting the cold in. And it shows the windows can properly keep it all out, if you know what I mean. So in actuality I guess I welcome condensation, as it provides assurances about the overall integrity and insulation of the tent. Do you have any other tips for keeping those pesky midges at bay? I'm willing to tolerate a bit more dampness if it helps, but I really can't stand their bites. What I'm asking is, does the tent still ventilate nicely while keeping most of them out? Also, any update on when we'll see that follow up video you mentioned at 3:14 ? It's been a few weeks now since you mentioned putting the tent through different conditions. I'm really keen to see how it holds up. Maybe you could do a video showing how much space there is inside with all your gear,. It would also be good to see how waterproof it after an unexpected heavy storm like you experienced and demonstrating repairing the seams/reaplying a coat if needs be o the pop-up? ATB Johnny!
Hi Jonny sorry for the late reply. As with all single skinned shelters yes there is condensation but it wasn't bad. That being said it wasn't a chilly night so likely worse jn the winter months but no different to any other. Midge wise I have tried everything and only a stiff breeze works however I have heard good things about thermacell units but can't say I have used one. The waterproofing I think speaks for itself in this video 👍 it was torrential and zero ingress....performed better than other so called high performance tents I have used. Thanks for watching and commenting ATB Simon
Why don't you purchase your self a campervan so then you could have a decent toilet and a hot shower but at least you just need an out door camping able for your camping stoves and gas bottle and you will need a wind brake and what about getting an out door Gazebo so then you can sit in your Gazebo and cook your meals and you can still have a ROBBY BURNS fIRE

I canny tell if the tent is actually smaller than it says on the tin, like. When you were inside with all your gear, it looked like yer blow-up mattress was nearly touchin the ends. I know with these single-skin pop-up tents, you don't want anything like yer pillow or back touchin the walls, because that can disrupt the waterproof design and either let water in or make condensation build up in that area. I'd take condensation over water seepin in any day (especially in a pop-up tent), mind, but the waterproofing is still important. Mind you, I'm no small lad myself, so it's hard to say if the tent is actually smaller than advertised or if it's just me making it look that way. Or maybe you're just a propah unit, like. I mean, that single blow-up mattress would be a queen size for any other lad. You said you were 6ft in another video, but fucking hell mate, is that how tall you are or how wide you are?!
