Good one Mark. I came to your channel by watching you with your buddy Andy. I live in the US on the Texas Gulf Coast. I spent my professional life working in the offshore oil & gas business with many, many coworker and friends from the UK. I have warmed up to you because you are the only “Brit” that I am aware of that drinks coffee! My drink of choice! Cheers mate! 😂😂☕️☕️👍
😊nice one man we were doing this 30 years ago with 2 to 4 children a lurcher a terrier sometimes 2 ferrets and a canary but we always took a tape player so we could dance we met a lot of strange and wonderful people around the fire
Mark, you really stepped up your game with production on this video! Not only was this video much longer than your usual, the drone shots and the editing were top-notch. I also liked how you went into detail about your new tent and how you showed a clip of one of the other products from a previous camp with Andy. As for the light, I’ve had mine for a couple months and I love it. Of course Alan wouldn’t…😂. Well done Mark
It's the same design as a ZPacks Duplex in nylon as opposed to the dyneema material. It's a great design and super light. They make accessories many of which you could use I bet.
Used this tent for 6 nights in the Adirondack Mountains. Excellent quality. Reliable in downpours. Definitely use the extra tie outs in high winds. Little condensation in high humidity.
Nice to see you posting again, Mark..and hope your better as much as can be expected. Really enjoyed the video.. nicely edited, my friend. Looking forward to the next one. 👍
Loved your lamp, starts out looking like the nuclear strike beacon from the Hand of Nod in command and conquer series, then pulls out into a dalek eye stalk.
Hi mate, I've just started wildcamping with (permission)and actual camping, you and Chris and a few more RUclipss have given me the urge to get out and enjoy life, so thank you pal, I really enjoy your videos really informative and funny. I made the tits mistake I bought a tent off temu, yeah not waterproof 😢 but we only learn. Anyway always good to watch your videos pal 👍
I’m glad we could help to get you out there 👍 yeah I’m not sure I would trust a tent from Temu , I’m sure there are tents on there that would be fine but it’s just luck if you find one .
The hill zero tent looks like a excellent hiking tent ⛺️ for moving about places the carbon fibre will give you no weight problem carrying and won't rust , a comfortable set up and cooked spam rolls tasty . MDM .
I agree with Alan: camping aims to be the opposite of the 'working week.' I like the new Spam very well! I'd try a bit of mustard on my rolls. The telescoping swiveling LED light is a 'champion.' It makes a reasonable tabletop lantern and a useful task light.
Hey!!!! Ooooooh I like a lot too! It’s like a new and improved Lanshan 2! Nice little touches with the little pockets to put your walking pole in so they don’t slip and the little poles to lift the head and foot ends. Personally single skin tents make me nervous but otherwise it looks great! You’re lucky to have some sunshine! Feels like weeks since we’ve had that in Cornwall lol! Fatal error to run out of beer, what were you thinking?!?! 🤣😂 Looked like a fab camp, great little vid! 🥰
Yeah I would have this over a lanshan 👍 and another big bonus is unlike a lanshan it’s water proof out the factory so you don’t need to seam seal this tent 👍. It ain’t been to great here lol a day of sun then a week of rain 😂
Only 1500hh and single skinned with huge gaps between tent and floor... this is going to be a cold tent when the wind picks up and I reckon rain will easily blow under it. The low weight is great but too many other compromises for me to consider it.
Cool tent. Nice to see you both out and about. We have an open burn ban right now. Very unusual for this area and this time of year. Happy camping. I can't wait to get out..just a few more technical details to work out.
Bought the tent and it arrived two days ago. I set it up yesterday, was pretty easy but man those zippers suck that attach the vestibules together. It was nice but I don't have time to deal with troublesome zippers. It's going to the UPS store today.
Enjoyed the video, down to earth, relaxing and real. Not once did I hear any bullsh*t like processing this or processing that. At least you slept in the tent, not like some, who pretend they do and slope off to their truck all night. Just saying 😂🤣😂
Thank you 👍I really like it , yeah not everyone will like it and it won’t be suited for everyone’s needs but that’s life . I personally really like it 👍
I really enjoyed that. I love that tent and id consider buying it for sure, if they gave you the option of buying the carbon fibre poles 😢 they really are missing a trick! Its perfect for me n my mutt. Thanks for the vid and the work that went into making it
Just found your vlog with this video! Looks like you had a nice camp with your friend. I like the tent a lot. I subscribed and look forward to future videos. I have seen several You Tubers use the tripod light, but I think it is more useful for people who worry about lighting in their videos. Thanks for sharing!😊
OK 5 minutes in, tent looks great, I have four tents already :) tempted to get another lol, did you mention the hydostatic head? [EDIT] ahh 1500 yes, might be best for Summer camp,. not sure, my Phoxx 2 has a 5000 HH :o /// 2000 on my EurohikeBackpacker DLX 2
Tent looks good ,did you get much condensation ? Great video ,and looks like we got a sneaky peak at Alans new knife, wounder if he'll edit the batoning 😂. Cheers for sharing . 👍🏻🍻
Stunning tent, I like the look of that! I just bought the budget priced Cloud Up 2 because i find my Lanshan 1 too small in bad weather, otherwise I'd be tempted to buy that beauty. I've subscribed 👍
The tent and the sleeping system looks great actually. Yeah wish weather permitted better filming for UK campers/bushcrafters recently. How long have you been camping with Alan?
I would say that is a 2 season tent only. 1500mm head isnt a lot, given the placement of the vent holes which are very low (handy in summer) the high gap under the vestibule and the large amount of mesh makes it a good midsummer trek tent. It looks pretty good, looks more sturdy than the lanshan, thats for sure. You didnt mention length, how tall are you?, is the mesh nosseum? what make are the zips ? is the seams sealed?....??
So good to see you out and about Marc even if you have to have Allen in the videos. Love the arty farty shots 👍 Not a fan of the spam though 🤣😁😆 Keep on rocking Keep that back safe to, hopefully the flextail is the answer. All the best always fella Johnny
So... how did the tent hold up in the "soggy night" ? I was told all my life that a tent needed to have a fly. This one has me curious given its single layer.
I used to cycle camp I have camped in one man tents I soon realised I wanted more room for when it rained, I bought a two man tent and never looked back, weight is an issue this tent is a well thought out well made, clearly designed by someone who understands the weight issue
It's nice to see you excited, but your new favourite even before you've slept in it once? Could come back to bite you that. :) Also, how much does your trekking poles weigh? For those of us who don't normally bring hiking poles I guess you could use two lengths of wood from the forest floor but if your walking where there are no trees you'd have to include trekking poles in the total weight of the tent in my opinion.
New video with Mark and Alan is always a treat!
👍👍
The colour is perfect! Works for a large range of terrains
Yeah I really like the colour of the hill zero tents 👍
Very happy to see you outside and enjoying your hobbies again 💕😍. We missed you too. Your photography is wonderful 💯. I really enjoy your videos 😍.
Thank you so much 🙏🙏

Thank you 🙏 yes I love coffee haha it’s not blood in my veins it’s coffee 😂😂
I love coffee and I’m a Brit lol
I drink it for health and safety reasons
My health your safety
Lol! It's a thing for the sake of a thing... Good one, Al!😅😂😊
😂😂
im glad you're feeling well enough to film again, welcome back :)
Thank you 🙏 feeling much better 👍
Yeah! I found you! Another camping channel to watch. ❤
🙏👍
Awesome video. First time I saw you was with Andy. I started watching you too. Love the videos from US. God bless
Thank you 🙏 🙏👍👍
😊nice one man we were doing this 30 years ago with 2 to 4 children a lurcher a terrier sometimes 2 ferrets and a canary but we always took a tape player so we could dance we met a lot of strange and wonderful people around the fire
Sounds like it would have been a lot of fun but also hard work 😂

Thank you 🙏 I really appreciate your kind comment 👍 I seem to learn something new every time I edit a video 👍
Love all your videos ❤
Thank you 🙏
Good to see you feeling better…great tent!!! You and your fellow camping RUclipsrs make it hard for us to stick with our existing gear!
Thank you 🙏 it’s even hard for me to stick to existing gear 😂
Looks like a great tent to hike w. Tons of room for a solo overnight w the dog.
Yeah it is good but it’s not a winter tent mainly 3 season
That's a good tent Mark
Wish you was closer. I'd have a blast seeing all your gear
It's the same design as a ZPacks Duplex in nylon as opposed to the dyneema material. It's a great design and super light. They make accessories many of which you could use I bet.
👍👍
Love the spam idea. So good for camping easy as well!!!
I love spam 👍👍
Like your dutch army tent, absolutely amazing video with Alan enjoy the video cheers Mark 😊
😂😂
Used this tent for 6 nights in the Adirondack Mountains. Excellent quality. Reliable in downpours. Definitely use the extra tie outs in high winds. Little condensation in high humidity.
It’s great tent and one of my favourites 👍👍
Nice to see you posting again, Mark..and hope your better as much as can be expected. Really enjoyed the video.. nicely edited, my friend. Looking forward to the next one. 👍
Thank you 🙏 yes much better now 👍 it’s been a slow recovery but I finally made it 👍
Loved your lamp, starts out looking like the nuclear strike beacon from the Hand of Nod in command and conquer series, then pulls out into a dalek eye stalk.
Aw that was a good game 👍
Great seeing you again
👍👍
Gadget man Mark lol ...i love the tent good size too .
😂😂

Can’t beat the British way 👍
Over 7k in 9 hours! The return has shook RUclips
It’s on a bit more now 👍
The hill zero tent looks like a excellent hiking tent ⛺️ for moving about places the carbon fibre will give you no weight problem carrying and won't rust , a comfortable set up and cooked spam rolls tasty .
MDM .
It’s is very good and will be excellent for hiking 👍 this will be my go to tent now for trips 👍
I have the Lanshan UL2, it is designed like this tent. It is by far my favorite.
Nice looking tent ⛺️
Thanks 👍 I love it 👍
I agree with Alan: camping aims to be the opposite of the 'working week.' I like the new Spam very well! I'd try a bit of mustard on my rolls. The telescoping swiveling LED light is a 'champion.' It makes a reasonable tabletop lantern and a useful task light.
Yeah you need a break from the normal working week for sure and I’m loving the lamp it’s a very handy bit of kit 👍
Great Tent, and i have never seen carbon fibre pegs bevor 😀, thats cool! And of course: SPAM in the PAN 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love it. Keep going
You can’t beat a bit of spam 👍👍
Yeayyy, the happy chappies camp again!! 🎉
Always 👍👍

Nice one and I like the tent colour... Lamp looks quite useful …. ATB Chris.
Cheers Chris 👍
Well done pal brilliant video 👍👍👍
Thank you 🙏
Cool tent. Nice to see you both out and about.
We have an open burn ban right now.
Very unusual for this area and this time of year. Happy camping.
I can't wait to get out..just a few more technical details to work out.
If the seams and fabric hold up this is a no brainer. Cost and weight both excellent.
I think they will 👍
Cheers gents! Great video!
Thank you 🙏
With a tent like that you'll certainly pull the birds !😂😂😂
😂😂
My army poncho is going into retirement now and also my tarp. This does it all.
Hi Mark nice tent. I got your channel from Andy's keep up great video's. I'm from Canada cheer's 🍻
Thank you and welcome to the channel 👍👍
Finally I found Mark’s own channel. 👍🏼
👍👍
Been hammocking for years. Now moved into some kayak camping with no trees on the rock banks. This twnt will be pwrfwct
👍👍
Looks like a modernised dutch army canvas tent
Well it don’t weigh as much that’s for sure 😂
Video after video. I like it a lot !
👍👍
Those extendable lights are getting more popular, shame about the price😢
Good to see you back out
They are very good and you can get them on Temu for a fraction of the price 👍 that’s where I got mine 👍
Great to see the channel growing!
Thank you 🙏 👍
Tent held up well, glad to see your back is getting better ! Did you like the saw ? Would you recommend it ?
I do like the saw but they are hard work 😓
I can't wait to get my new tent out. New ax, drill bit 1 inch, iron skillet, sleep n bag. Wife's underwear, I'm ready
Bought the tent and it arrived two days ago. I set it up yesterday, was pretty easy but man those zippers suck that attach the vestibules together. It was nice but I don't have time to deal with troublesome zippers. It's going to the UPS store today.
Oh really , I didn’t have any issues with mine at all plus they are YKK zippers so they are a well known brand on the market .
I like that tent!!
Thank you 👍👍
Liking the tent!
👍👍
I think I have to have one.👍👍
👍👍
Welcome back!!! Love your vids n humor. Torrah😂
Thank you 🙏 👍👍 Torrah 😂
Enjoyed the video, down to earth, relaxing and real. Not once did I hear any bullsh*t like processing this or processing that. At least you slept in the tent, not like some, who pretend they do and slope off to their truck all night. Just saying 😂🤣😂
Thank you 🙏 any camping equipment companies send me I always use I give my honest opinion 👍👍
Like the two entrance design extremely practicle. Hows the back doing? hope ti's ok.
Back is much better thank you 👍👍
Love it might have to give a go
I think as a 3 season tents it will be great 👍
I've been using this tent as well, it's amazing! Excellent video and nice to see you again 👍

[EDIT] ahh 1500 yes, might be best for Summer camp,. not sure, my Phoxx 2 has a 5000 HH :o /// 2000 on my EurohikeBackpacker DLX 2
Yeah it’s mostly a 3 season . Great for summer , spring and probably autumn 🍂
Also I got one of those hand saws off temu I thought was good
Very nice, i did forcette 2 person,, gonna get out next month
Looks good, but I don't want to have to buy and carry 2 hiking poles.
It’s aimed towards people who use hiking poles while hiking
Tent looks good ,did you get much condensation ? Great video ,and looks like we got a sneaky peak at Alans new knife, wounder if he'll edit the batoning 😂. Cheers for sharing . 👍🏻🍻
I got a bit but not much but it is a single skin so a bit is to be expected
Subbed just realised your on some Kent survival ones I’ve watched
Thank you 👌👌
Great video, when is Andy uploading his?
Thank you 🙏 I’m not sure if he has this tent yet .
I'm sure it's great but ... I like my Mountain Designs 1P Redline - robust, lighter, freestanding, nothing fancy, just works.
Fair enough 👍 each to their own 👍
They also sell tent poles if you don’t want to use trekking poles
Stunning tent, I like the look of that! I just bought the budget priced Cloud Up 2 because i find my Lanshan 1 too small in bad weather, otherwise I'd be tempted to buy that beauty.
I've subscribed 👍
Thank you subscribing 👍
What's the name of the lamp you showed? Cheers!
It’s made by Powerkan and you can get them on Temu

You need a Bahco laplander! CHEERS!
Have you ever tried Dickens Cider?
No I don’t think I have
ive kipped under tarps alot this last decade, all seasons north yorkshire. i love my tarp lol dd3x3
I do enjoy using a tarp 👍
So good to see you out and about Marc even if you have to have Allen in the videos.
Love the arty farty shots 👍
Not a fan of the spam though 🤣😁😆
Keep on rocking
Keep that back safe to, hopefully the flextail is the answer.
All the best always fella
Johnny
Thank you 🙏 oh my how can you not like spam 😂😂
I like Spam to Mark n like your light cheer's
Spam is great isn’t it 😋👍
What does a can of spam cost, we dont have it in sweden but want to taste it..
Costs about £4 here in the uk 🇬🇧
That telescopic light thingy me jig you got a link mate I got get me sen one
So... how did the tent hold up in the "soggy night" ? I was told all my life that a tent needed to have a fly. This one has me curious given its single layer.
It was absolutely fine 👍
What a pair you two are. Love the tent. What did Alan think of it?
👍👍 he likes it 👍
That saw chain looked like more hassle than it was worth
It is hard work 😂
Yea it does look agood tent and roomy can the tent be use all seasons great video mark
I would say its mainly a 3 season but I will be giving it a go in the winter to see how it does 👍
Nice one! Have been scouting the comments for the name of the lamp but didnt find it. Do you know what it's called?
Thank you 👍 it’s made by Powerkan and you can get it on Temu
Hope the back is healing properly.
It is much better thank you 🙏
Great video dude, you going to the Bushcraft show?

Are they a 4 season tent
I would say more a 3 season and that’s just because personally I would want a separate inner for winter
I like my Kelty a-frame
love your channel, great work
nice laid back no worries, who camping should be.
Thanks 👍
Fab video Marc. I love the look of that tent, did it produce much condensation being a single skinned tent ? 😃😃😃
A little bit but it’s to be expected with a single skin tent
I'm worried that the wind will slap the two windows on the side. Because it is not a streamlined design, there will be a lot of noise.
