That tree must have been stately and imposing when it was standing, and now that it is down, it is still stately and imposing, and the sky is still clear above it. That tree gives your camping spot a Middle Earth ambiance and aura. What a splendid setting.

I know you like to be as light as possible when camping, but perhaps a good idea to bring emergency protein bar or something for when dinner turns out to be accidentally free of everything, including flavour

@mdmoutdooradventures I believe that for sure. We accidentally picked up some vegan cheese from the market one day. When I went for my midnight cheese snack ,that I love to do, I grabbed a slice of it. It was so horrible I felt like I was going to throw up for the rest of the night. Thinking I poisoned myself somehow by bad cheese, and then I read the label. Total yuck 🤮

Too bad you didn't have cornbread, I would of crumbled that in the chili. When you camp, how do you keep the meat from spoiling. I'm talking for about three days to a week . Stay safe out there and God bless😊

Being an ex-Hastings person I have been a veggie and vegan since the late 80s, with only minor trips back to meat... bacon & steak ... that tinned stuff is awful my go to-easy chilli non-carne is Aldi veggie mince and 2 packs of chilli flavourings mmm... I must do a video of that concoction very soon 😁
Bought a can of Stagg chilli to give it a go. Definitely wont catch me with out with vegan chilli after this. Will be watching like a hawk for the labels 😎🤣
