Welcome back and in this video myself and Andy from Kent Survival head off into the woodland for an overnighter in a huge thunderstorm with some really heavy rain and of course as always some great food .

I have a DD 4x4 as well. The tent set up like you did in this video is my favorite set up with that tarp. Yes it’s HUGE inside there !!! Really enjoy your videos with Andy ! Keep em coming!

Fair play my friend that is an epic storm to be camping in, love it. Good to see your take on the camp also. Mrs P now has a battery operated mini chainsaw for her birthday in a couple of weeks haha 😜. Wish us luck, we are off to the Llyn Peninsula on Tuesday for a short break. Looks like you had a good one, between your winter hammock camping video and now this one I keep telling myself not to buy a 4x4 tarp as my 3x3 is good enough but that tent configuration does look good!
Can't beat the sound of rain and thunder though 👍
It's much bigger inside 👌 I didn't think it would be much bigger than a 3x3 tarp tent but it's huge haha

I did a tarp tent with my 4 x 4 DD, damn thing was like a Circus tent inside! Great video mate but you might need a bit more fire wood!
Definitely not enough wood haha got load for a few more camps yet 👍

I love those tongs you used for cooking. I just ordered a set of 4 bamboo style from Amazon, very well made and fairly priced. Only 9 bucks American for two 7-inch and two 10-inch tongs. Thanks for the idea!!!

You could do a fantastic fundraiser auction by offering a camping overnighter with you both. Sadly, I live in Ontario, Canada, so wouldn't be able to participate but would enjoy seeing what you come up with re accommodation and food.
