What I find hilarious as a newbie nurse, and a pro hag, is how bad my play-style with nurse it compared to my Hag game style. I’ve blinked in the basement on accident before 😭
I once played blight and I was very new, and was placed against an old dead hard meta squad. It was quite funny, because I was so bad that they couldn't predict what I was doing and I got a few good free downs. Eventually they just stood behind trees though, completely countering me 😭
probably the most important you forgot to say is to run edge map. Since nurse chases in higher mmr will mostly be between 20 and 40 seconds or 4-8 blinks, which is not really long, it's more important to where you chase and die instead of how long. If you die edge map and chase there, you can more easily run the nurse for 6 blinks, die in a corner away from all gens and have your team on the gens on the opposite side of the map. And trust me, a 20 sec comp corner chase is worth more than a 40 sec chase in the middle of the map
That’s the trademark of a poorly designed killer if chases end that quickly because there’s no way to stop her and you have to die as far away from a hook as possible that’s a poorly designed killer as wesker I have to play smart as nurse it’s 3 buttons and I win with barely any effort I pack bowls of weed and clean my bong come back and 4k as wesker every second counts I have to mind game plot and lure my prey the way I want them to go as nurse lols ignore pallet smack
@@Flotter-Flo no where near as op as her she ignores loops ignores any kind of counter wesker can be outmaneuvered and stopped my bound doesn’t destroy pallets while her blinks ignores pallets ones clearly more op than the other mate

I played a real life chase tag this fall and used the technique of breaking sight line from dbd. I was cornered, chaser was 4m behind, I pretended to loop an advertisement column (1.5m wide) which was there, and as soon as he lost sight of me I changed direction out of the corner. I gained like 4 additional meters when the chaser realised his prediction was wrong. After 30 seconds he dropped the chase. It felt like an epic win, when you can use in real life some trick from games.
I once was distracted during the game and had to stop mid chase for a second It made Nurse miss and she even went as far as to ask me in the endgame chat "What the fuck, why did you stop", that was funny Would that be considered a juke and how often would it work against a nurse? Because technically it falls into a "be unpredictable" category
I laugh every time I see someone drop a pallet against nurse. I just don't do it. I know it's possible to stun but I just keep moving. I'm NOT saying I'm high mmr at all. I am not the best survivor by far. But under 500 hours I could run a nurse absolutely no problem. I used to enjoy it actually and look forward to it. I even once took a 4 gen chase with a nurse and we all got out. But at 900 hours I have Not faced a bad nurse that I recall. Everyone of them has torn us up. I realize I'm playing with more experienced players. I can manage to get some jukes but not always for long. That's not to insult less experienced nurses. She's hard to play. But it's telling when nurses, blights, and spirits get harder to beat. I hope to get better tho and look forward to facing and escaping these good killers. Thanks for this it's super helpful. 👌
As a nurse main there is just one thing I feel like you missed and I think it comes from using nurse a lot. Which is listening to her blink sound and knowing how long she will be in the blink state. Learning how long she will be in the blink/teleporting state will also tell you how far she is going to travel. Knowing this information gives you the time you need to double back or hold w on a loop. Also know that the closer a nurse is to you, the more often she will blink right behind you to make her second blink a safe short blink. So that is why making her first blink be at a medium to far distance by breaking los is a must or else you will get hit. Never leave a loop with got los blockers unless you know where the next good los blocking loop is, if not then stay there since it’s your best chance instead of holding w in the open hoping that distance will save you, make sure to know where you are going. Lastly, you can use your character’s body as a object to make her 1. Not go through a structure. 2. Blink on the wrong side of a loop. Your character has a hit box that she cannot blink on, she gets vacuumed away from you, if you put on her flannel add on you can see how this effect her blink. I would say only use this in a double double back scenario into a spin, where she is too close to do anything else or if you hear he second blink be a little too long then you can hold w after the double back. Remember she can look down to travel less but if you listen to how long she held her blink, she will take much longer to get to the same spot even if it’s a short distance. Double backing on the second floor of a building is your safest option because she will be forced to blink downstairs or away from you. Other than that this guide is amazing! 🎉

@@katnumb1692 the fact that you find it boring to play against her tells me that you can't play against her well consistently and you may need to take this videos advice. @@TheOnlyTyM People often find her boring because she breaks the rules of the game but thats exactly why i love to play against her, its honestly so refreshing to play a killer that completely flips things around and makes me change the way i play but like any other killer playing against her all the time gets boring.
@@diogostw7286 I understand that, playing against her and only her all the time would get exhausting. I oddly don't run into many nurses, so when I do see one I get really excited!
This was great wondering if you would cover more killers in the future like 50/50 killers like Pyramid head and artist and maybe animation wait killers like huntress and nemesis!
a good nurse will do a prediction blink when close to a surviver, and a los blink when far away. this isn't the case for all nurse players but its more likely true for good nurse because there's less risk in getting a prediction wrong when the survive is close by.
You forgot the 4th me the poor PS5 player trying to learn nurse lol. By the way great video. I love the end that is how everyone sounds everyone is a top .00001 percent player
He didn`t said about camera direction fake. Some nurses can pretend they would blink predictivile (on longer path) but just about to blink come back their camera to the safe spot (to the corner of a structure for example) and give a hit if survivour is double-backing. If not they just make distance (+W).
I RECENTLY STARTED PLAYING KILLER FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER AFTER 600 HOURS OF SURVIVOR ONLY, AND MIGHT I SAY I LOVE BEING NICE TO SURVIVORS :) (on nurse btw bc its the only killer my bf put levels in when he came to visit me xD)
I just went against a p100 nurse with only 2 perks (agitation and corrupt) and she crushed us. It made me realize idk how to counter nurse at all, I just got used to going against bad ones.. I used to want to be in high mmr, silly me 🤕😓
Nurse is a weird one, I feel like new players do better against her because they don't have the muscle memory of where to go and how to run tiles. For more experienced players, it can be really hard to unlearn that when facing her, especially if you haven't for a minute. I think Nurse in her current form can be a part of DBD, but BHVR really needs to give her addons another pass over and look at how she interfaces with some perks in combination with her power. Objectively, basekit Nurse is strong but not unbeatable, and I think the problem can be solved pretty easily by killing a few of her addons and making her blink a special attack.
Nurse is my fave killer to go up against because of the goofy plays you have to do, while clenching your buttcheeks the entire chase. I play her a lot as well, I did a powerless, perkless game with her recently and someone dc'd on their first down. Their swf ( 2 man ) told me it was because Nurse is OP. - I had not used a blink once -
I know you won't make more content (which is sad af, because I genuinely LOVE your content), but oh boy, if I ever play survivor (once a week, cause im a killer main and I suck as surv) and face you as the nurse, I will just be at your feet, wishing you can give me a quick death. P.S Come back KillaWhale, I've learnt sooooooo much with your killer tips.
my receipt: remove TR, remove red stain - and no nurses will be even required also my advice to nurses: do NOT try to predict moves, just use aura perks; survivors evade nurse hits not bc of any skill, but bc of the facts that they are allowed to go THROUGH killer body and to change their movement vector direction INSTANTLY
“Also makes you into a huge bitch” - Best line I had on YT in a long time 😂 I hecking love Nurse mains and have huge respect for them as I tried her and she is hard as fuck to play. Not saying I don’t get mad when they tunnel but shit, Wesker mains seem to tunnel more then Nurse mains and to me, I feel Wesker is waaayyyy worse then a Nurse to face. All this tips seem useful so I look forward to trying them out next time I see a Nurse. Thank you for your video 😁
Basically, there's DBD games and DBD Nurse games. It's a totally different game, and it's boring. The counter play is literally lose line of sight, keep running randomly, hope the nurse is rubbish.
I think the problem with Nurse is that she has a strong power that is almost ALWAYS available, and she has OP add ons. I don’t mind that she ignores gameplay elements in ways like looping, the prior are the problems with her imo.
Great vid! Anyway, for me, I don't feel hopeless at all when I first learn that the Killer is The Nurse in the first few minutes of a match (contrary to what I feel when I go against The Plague... ugh). In fact, I feel excited because I get the chance to loop her and try to successfully hide from her when the situation becomes available (I use Iron Will + Lightweight all the time)! There was this one match I had with The Nurse on the Silent Hill map. I was able to escape her by faking going up the stairs and, as I was looking back seeing her blink to go upstairs, I immediately took a u-turn, got back down, and entered the classroom on the right. I was hiding behind a desk while the Nurse was still looking for me upstairs!
Be random. Yup. Break line of sight. Yup. Don’t use pallets and windows. Yup. Force predictions. Yup. Unfortunately my random, line of sight breaking, unpredictable movements are too predictable for the majority of nurses i face :/
Wherever I play against her I'm weird af, that comes naturally thankfully I don't perform too badly but I see soooo many mistakes for the survs,it's absurd. On a side note, duh, if you DC the moment you hear a blink you'll never perform good against her. Yes Dbd reddit, I'm staring at you.
I just want to say one thing: I'm playing Nurse excatly in purpouse of not "winning", cause i know i will not, there is always* at least 2 survs who escape, and i'm playing her when i have a good day, cause she is extremally frustrating killer to play as. * - unless they ff as soon as they realize i play Nurse, they often kill themselves on hook, or dc, which gives me kills that i normally would not get.
I was wondering why i always fail the double back , i entered one match and lucky i was , it was a nurse and i did what you said ( faking the direction and double backing while she is second blinking ) With great pleasure i am here to thank you mr whale , i now last from 3 sec to 10 sec just like in the bed :^)))) No but seriously it really helped me , i can at lest have a chance and know what do Thanks man

Being a Nurse main I truly appreciate this guide. Well done!
Being a nurse main you should drink gasoline and swallow a lit match.
I love this video so much! I am a nurse main myself and I get a lot of hate for just playing her. Hopefully people will actually look at this masterpiece and stop DCing against her! Keep up the good work man!
People dc against nurse not just because she's the most unbalanced character in the game, it's because it's boring as well to play against her.
@@katnumb1692 the fact that you find it boring to play against her tells me that you can't play against her well consistently and you may need to take this videos advice. I for one main nurse and find her extremely fun to play against because I know how she functions and I can run a good nurse for a fair amount of time. People dc against her for various other reasons, but if people learn how to play against her (which is what this video is trying to teach you) then less people will find it boring to play against her.
Probably not but I do have a solo queue guide in the works that will have a lot of info about looping
@@KillaWhale that sounds great can't wait for it!
a good nurse will do a prediction blink when close to a surviver, and a los blink when far away. this isn't the case for all nurse players but its more likely true for good nurse because there's less risk in getting a prediction wrong when the survive is close by.
18:45 this part is very important.
"There is no such thing as a strong structure against a nurse" big rock: I beg your pardon?
You forgot the 4th me the poor PS5 player trying to learn nurse lol. By the way great video. I love the end that is how everyone sounds everyone is a top .00001 percent player
Judging by the thumbnail, I should stop looping and invite her to my dnd sessions
ez, I can do that
I love this take. Yes please.
I like this guy he relates Lebron into this
4:00 Correct advice against Nurse
Editor deserves a raise
Jesus fuck that speed clip made me almost drop my hot chocolate fucking jumpscare right there
Do what I do
Just DC
That’s the best counter
Nurses do hate corn. Also I like trying to predict because it makes me feel good when It works.
that was super helpful, thanks!
I like playing Nurse but she really needs a rework. She is the most unbalanced thing in the game.
Love your Guide! take my sub :3
KILLA WHALE VS NURSE! WHO WILLL WIN?
Peak content
Wtf i expected goofy memes but it was actually a useful guide.
I just went against a p100 nurse with only 2 perks (agitation and corrupt) and she crushed us. It made me realize idk how to counter nurse at all, I just got used to going against bad ones..
I used to want to be in high mmr, silly me 🤕😓
The answer is, there is no counter.
Still hate the fact she nerfed AA
@@eggmin8967 yeah for sure, it was a sad day for mad grit enjoyers
@@Dinoraptus it still works perfectly fine with mad grit
P.S Come back KillaWhale, I've learnt sooooooo much with your killer tips.
the best way to "survive" against a Nurse is leaving the game
they can't kill you if you don't exist
Such skill to teleport and completely ignore loops such skill required to teleport miss completely then somehow connect
I just wanna say still to this day WHOEVER CREATED THIS KILLER DEFINITELY GOT GEN RUSHED AND SAID YK WHAT F SURVIVORS
my receipt:
remove TR, remove red stain - and no nurses will be even required
also my advice to nurses: do NOT try to predict moves, just use aura perks; survivors evade nurse hits not bc of any skill, but bc of the facts that they are allowed to go THROUGH killer body and to change their movement vector direction INSTANTLY
nurse mains "Write that down! Write that down!!!"
Thanks for the guide. Appreciate it
Top tier video. Thank you!
Subscribed, thank you!
Pallets only work if you have lithe, I was on the game and someone pre dropped a few pallets so they could use lithe more easily
Thanks for the guide, still would rather take 1000 Blights in a row than a single Nurse tho.
Basically, there's DBD games and DBD Nurse games. It's a totally different game, and it's boring. The counter play is literally lose line of sight, keep running randomly, hope the nurse is rubbish.
you forgot the ole reliable DC strat against nurse.
man .. I LOVE your videos !!
I think the problem with Nurse is that she has a strong power that is almost ALWAYS available, and she has OP add ons. I don’t mind that she ignores gameplay elements in ways like looping, the prior are the problems with her imo.
This info is pretty on point.
Killa whale stream followed by an upload? Santa did get my letter 🥸😇
I WAS JAMMING TO THE MUSIC
I like to try and be unpredictable vs any killer tbh
Great video, this was good to watch and I liked it but I am still gonna dc against Nurses because getting better in dbd is cringe
Stellar work!
Lmao the Alf thumbnails 🤣
Step one: ........
Step two: pray
Step three: ??
Step four: hold W
secound blink force her guessing
Be random.
Yup.
Break line of sight.
Yup.
Don’t use pallets and windows.
Yup.
Force predictions.
Yup.
Unfortunately my random, line of sight breaking, unpredictable movements are too predictable for the majority of nurses i face :/
AWESOME VIDEO
Wherever I play against her I'm weird af, that comes naturally thankfully
I don't perform too badly but I see soooo many mistakes for the survs,it's absurd.
On a side note, duh, if you DC the moment you hear a blink you'll never perform good against her. Yes Dbd reddit, I'm staring at you.
The patient nurse... Aka the trapper nurse
I just want to say one thing:
I'm playing Nurse excatly in purpouse of not "winning", cause i know i will not, there is always* at least 2 survs who escape, and i'm playing her when i have a good day, cause she is extremally frustrating killer to play as.
* - unless they ff as soon as they realize i play Nurse, they often kill themselves on hook, or dc, which gives me kills that i normally would not get.
Been playing dbd for almost a year and still haven’t looped a nurse successfully
Watching Ayrun play against Nurses using his flashlight technique on after the first blink is interesting too
This video legit helped alot
Also on her hand you can see how many blinks you got
Main Nurse here... How dare you reveal to survivors our super secret Nurse techniques. *wheeze profusely*
I just run at her if she's been charging her blink for a while
I was wondering why i always fail the double back , i entered one match and lucky i was , it was a nurse and i did what you said
( faking the direction and double backing while she is second blinking )
With great pleasure i am here to thank you mr whale , i now last from 3 sec to 10 sec
just like in the bed :^))))
No but seriously it really helped me , i can at lest have a chance and know what do
Thanks man
3:58 Funniest moment from your entire channel
I need to take a minute to commend you for including an ishowspeed clip but lowering the volume in editing so that it doesn't blow my ears out.
Thank you.
