  • I was a radio and tv broadcaster for Armed Forces Radio and TV in Madrid, Spain. This was my first interview... and a great lesson in what NOT to do when interviewing a leading rock band! Great fun!!

The Van Halen members are very down to earth, that's why they're so well liked.

Alex is possibly more intimidating than James Hetfield. And nearly as much as Tony Iommi.

They were a band of all stars. As the years pass i pay way more attention to Alex and Mikes phenomenal musicianship in VH. What a great producer on those early albums also. The perfect sound. Wish it would of lasted into the 90’s with Dave.
