Wow Sena! With in the Goldwing Community Chris Caliente really introduced your product for many Years. So sad to see you not reach out to him.
It’s okay that Sena never tried to recognize me for all the years of advertising their headsets on my channel but I’m in a good place!
Sorry, will never buy sena products again, I’ve had 3 of their products in the past and they just don’t work well, half the features I could never get to work satisfactory and just ended up very frustrated and annoyed. Now have Cardo and it just works and is waterproof !
a 60swith a 50 mile rane... they can't do a .5 mile well on their existing 50s so i will not hold out hope.
When should we see the release of the 60 S?

I just hope these new products are weatherproof as cardo is already waterproof. I currently use both. Alain & yellow

90+% of the "new" technology you mentioned has been available on Cardo for at least 12 months. I still feel Sena are on the back foot.
Idk… one thing Cardo is lacking is one tap open mesh channels. Connecting via Sena’s mesh is dummy proof.
Darn. Just got my 50S with my new helmet.
It’s nice to see a video where it’s not just “BUY OUR NEW GEAR” it’s also nice to see more of sena. I feel like their RUclips presence is much smaller even though they still have a ton of market share. The light, wave, and faceplates are nice but I hope waterproofing improves and and a way to connect to Cardos DMC

I have been there before to resolve an issue with my Packtalk Headset. They have not invited me.
Also, does this new tech mean that Cardo and Sena headsets can now communicate? I bought a J&M back when I bought the bike in 19, and AFAIK it doesn't communicate with anything except the bike.

It'd be nice if one of these BT headset outfits could figure out a way to add CB so that guys who ride in groups of old GW's can still communicate without having to drop $2K+ on Honda's poor radio...

Interesting. Wonder when the new Sena Impulse is coming out. Makes me want to wait instead of buying the current Impulse as long as it doesn't take too long to release. Hope it releases soon.

Thanks for the heads-up on Sena's new products! Is Sena planning on releasing a new version of their previous Prism Bluetooth camera? This is something I've been waiting for a while now with updated specs - not a communicator, but a dedicated helmet camera like the Prism was.
Love the Sena SRL2 integration into my Shoei Neotec 2. Works perfectly.

The biggest pain in the bu** is that H-D mandates their versions be limited to their software tweaks and to HD updates. I have the HD Rushmore Modular BT helmet and the noise that bleeds through almost makes the unit unusable at highway speeds. Nice helmet, but it is too noisy imo. I would not recommend the helmet.

Totally agree... the software and operation of the gear suck. it simply is horrible and you can't control squat from the system well

It should be embarrassing for the Sena host that he had no idea you produced and sold Honda Goldwing maintenance videos. It shows a lack of homework on his part before having you to their office for what was clearly a beneficial social media boost for them. He seemed very salesman-like to me.
I think they only knew of me through my RUclips presence.
Make a 50c with a camera pointing forward and a 2nd pointing to the rear

All I want to do is listen to music and talk to my wife on the back. We don't do group rides. I have not found anything to use on my 2020 Gold Wing for these purposes that works anywhere near as simply and reliably, with the quality of sound, as the wired system on my 2005. It all seems like a step backwards to get rid of the wire. My wife is not tech savvy, and we gave up on the Sena 50s setup we tried because it was too finicky and problematic. She'd be pissed off by the time we fiddled with everything trying to get it all to work before we started our ride, and that's no way to get started. I need to be able to just put it on and it works, and not have the battery go dead 3/4 of the way thru my riding day.
This is why I love the Open Mesh on the Sena 50s. No pairing required.

We are happy with our Sena MC communicators.

A lot of riders have switched to Cardo due to the fact that Sena is having lots of issues with Their new units and their customer service pretty much sucks. And how about making them waterproof? We do ride in the rain on occasion........ 🤷♂
I have ridden in heavy rain several times with my Senas and never had one fail. That said, the new 60s models will be IPX rated.
