Just saw where the SLR3 has Google Assistant and Siri capability! It’s about time! Wish they could update older models.
I use the Sena because of you. I recently upgraded to the 50s and I am looking forward to moving to the 60s when it is available. The only thing is getting others to spend the money on the upgrade to be able to communicate with them using the VOIP on the 60s. Sometimes riding we have the trouble with distance! I enjoy your channel and your podcast as well- keep up the great work!
I use a cardo for music and navigation I think you should interview with the cardo people to see what they are coming out with

The wave feature while interesting can be done with any bluetooth headset. If you have a group discord hop into a voice chat and you have a way to connect any brand headset. I like to use it when we are meeting at a place. For example, I was meeting a group at breakfast. I hopped on the group chat before I left, as I was getting closer another member hopped on and asked where I was.
The waterproof rating is something Sena has needed for a long time. While you may not have had any issues there are plenty of people on forums and with RUclips Channels who has. When they complain Cardo swoops in gives them free gear and creates a marketing machine.

Great information. The wave technology will change the game. I see a newer new helmet in my future.
Our helmets “might” be upgradable.
I am a cardio guy. Not happy with Sena customer service. But I was a Sena customer.

So, I have a couple of questions and perhaps you can cover them on any follow-up videos you post regarding the SENA 60S. My club for the most part uses SENA 30K's or 50S's for our group rides. So this is exciting news that a new generation SENA is going to be rolled out soon.
1. What will the price point be?
2. Will there be an option to by a dual pack?
3. Since this device requires your cell phone signal to utilize the WAVE technology, will that render the phone useless if the signal is coming in aand out if the mesh isn't keeping the conversation intact?
4. Will it affect pairing to my Garmin XT2 or is GPS pairing in a seperate profile?
I know there are more questions I will have but I'll post them as they pop into my head. Love your videos Sir.
On a different note, I'll be seeing Chris Caliente this Saturday out in So. Cali. at the Huntington Beach Honda Motorcycle Dealer, one of the only motorcycles exclusive dealers in So Cal. Perhaps you and Chris can do a podcast on this topic. I know Chris is a Cardo man but he does dabbel with the SENA's from time to time.
My sena 20S was okay but sound was bland. Connection was unpredictable. Now I have the cardo neo and the edge and I am never turning back. They have been exceptional BT connection and jbl speakers are good. Now can connect to my insta360 cameras for audio overlay to video recording...dope

what is the difference between the waze (or wave) mode and the ride connected app that also used the cell phone for communication? sounds like the same. Also the with 60 magnetic mount also be able to connect up the 50, 30 and 20s as well. to the same mount. I use both 50 and 20 s on my "ONE" mount currently.
I don't see how Wave would be any better than Zello. The bluetooth PTT and Zello is a lot less distracting than having an open line and have to listen to everyone else's wind noise. The advantage to mesh is that it doesn't require a cell signal.
Why No Questions about the snap, crackling, and popping? Also, No Questions about If they have fixed the noise cancellation issues.
Absolutely no snap, crackle, or popping with our Cardo units. Always had this issue with Sena beginning with the SMH10 thru the 50’s. Absolutely awful. After switching to Cardo Edge, this never occurs, plus the advertised features actually work!!
@@ww4dx It's always a subject to avoid by Sena or anyone supporting them. I have the spyder, 30k, and 50s and they all have that issue, so I'm sure this one will be no different. I'm like you, it's Cardo or Bust!
I am a Sena user and will continue to be. Harley moved from Harley Branded Sena to a Harely Branded Cardo recently.
Didn't the Sena guy say Sena is integrated in Harley not Cardo
@@mikejacks1939 they use to exclusively partner with Sena up until the 2024 models (2023 CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide) and the new Skyline OS infotainment system. So that was accurate up to the 2024 model year. They offer a Harley Branded Sena and Cardo now. Not sure going forward if they will continue to support both.
It would make sense to stick with Sena if that is the base unit

anything changed on the bluethooth connectivity issue we have ? I have to turn off and on my headset a few times till I get a good connection to the bike.
I only want to use a device to communicate with my own 2021 Goldwing. I want CarPlay and don’t need to talk to anyone unless it is over the cell phone. Which communicator do I need to purchase?
an older Sena SMH10. Basic and easy to setup. Inexpensive and reliable
live in blain Wa. How soon will the neoteck 3 hit the states? They are sold in B.C. but duty would put it out of my budget. But if push comes to shove will go that way.
The shoei neotech III is available in the US. Tried one one last week. About $1000
I was hoping you would ask if the new 60S would be backward compatible with previous versions, i.e. the 50S. In your visit to Sena did they mention this one way or the other?
If you mean, will you still be able to communicate between 50S and 60S using their Mesh, I am going to go out on a limb and say YES. But, I am planning to visit their facility again today and will ask that question.

I still have Cardo units on a couple of helmets, but I tend to use Sena more than Cardo.
Why are the senas so huge? As in size compared to the cardo.
Have you compared battery life?

@@goldwingrocks3859 I have, and the Cardo, although being smaller battery last as long if not longer than ANY Sena device I've owned. And I've owned MOST of them.
I have 4 helmets. All with Bluetooth headsets. 2 open face and 2 flip up modular flip up. 2 different brands. The pairing processes is just ridiculous! Just put a pairing button. The sequence to access the menu follows no standard and is not well throughout. Please make the user interface more logical and friend without needing to jump on the internet to watch a pairing video. This applies to both Sena and Cardio.
I have struggled when trying to pair between brands for sure. That is why I love Open Mesh. No pairing required. But, it only works with Sena headsets.
Can sena just simplify the way my Sena Impulse updates?
AND, can I hook it up to my GoPro?
