Goblins. It was not short; it had very grand rooms and as a result fewer than other houses. Slaughter Sinema 2 was close second. Insidious brought the claustrophobia of Poltergeist. And was surprisingly intense. Took a two week vacay in Orlando this year and went nine nights. Sadly, this will be a forgettable year in the long run. Nothing stood out like Dead Man’s Pier or Blood Moon. Nothing had a captivating story like Darkest Deal or Graveyard Games. Four sub-par houses: Museum, Triplets, Monstrous, Monsters. Last dozen years it was one or maybe two houses that were just plain bad.
Insidious is insane....monsters bloodlines is a sequel to the bride of Frankenstein house! Frankenstein monster is in the house but he's dead as a static figure lol
So fun fact! I used to work with a cirque and we had a few hair hanger performers, and with that, it’s all about the tension and how they braid their hair in order to make it safe. Some braid in a rope into their hair to help with the tension. But I’ve heard some horror stories and I cannot watch those acts. It’s a crazy crazy act
I agree about the Scarezones. Oddfellow was such a great icon last year. I hope they bring him another year, or at least take notes on what worked with that year.
This was actually one of my favorite HHN in a long time, every single house was good, there’s usually at least one or two bad ones. Scare zones were good except for Blumhouse and the front entrance. Insidious was easily one of the scariest houses I’ve ever went through, we went through it 16 times lol
Loved listening to this and will be going for the first time in 2025. Mildly alarmed by the comment: ‘you still have to wait a third of the wait time even if you have the express pass’ EXCUSE ME WHAT?! Can someone shed some light on this?!
Usually a rule of thumb for Express passes (at least during daytime operations) is you’re not supposed to wait more than one-third of the total standby wait in Express. So if it is an hour-wait, Express should not have to wait more than 20 mins tops. It’s usually shorter than that, but that’s the only guarantee.
This was our first HHN and I found it to be very disappointing. The way they send people through the houses means that nothing is scary at all because there are too many people ahead of you. Why not pulse people through?
They used to pulse people through the houses when I first started going to the event in the 90s, but it’s far too busy now so we have the conga line method. Unfortunately.
I was lucky to experience the 2 houses that were open for free 2020 and even with plexy glass at least they were scary because we where 6ft apart pulsed. Maybe they should consider charging more and selling less tickets@ThemeParkStop
Well, we believe this years HHN was the worst we’ve experienced. Scare Zones, pretty bad themes and costumes. Houses, not great…Ghostbusters??? What was that? We only liked 2 houses. Our all time favorite is the show, always! We left the show disappointed, music selections and storyline were terrible. This event is usually our favorite of the year. Seems to us they really dropped the ball creatively and wonder why??? Maybe we just enjoyed the last 2 years so much that we expect the same level or more? Are HHN creative directors working on Epic? We just don’t get it. Oh well, now we are just looking forward to Christmas! 😊
That’s Crazy because to me this was one of the best HHN’s in a long time, not perfect because it never will be, but one of the best house lineups we’ve ever had! But that’s all matter of opinion, it’s just very interesting to see two people that go to the same event have two completely different experiences!
The folks who work on HHN only work on HHN, so the creativity wasn't the issue. I think that it was more of a budget issue: money is being poured into Epic so that it opens as soon as Memorial Day 2025. I expected this year's HHN to be lackluster, so it didn't bother me as much. Next year will be a lot better after Epic opens.
What’s your favorite house this year?
Ghostbusters was my favorite simply because all the puppets and the stilt walkers ❤
A Quiet Place and Slaughter Sinema 2 were my favs this year!

Naynay and Ian together is the pairing I didn't know I needed. They play off each other so well. I hope all three of you do more episodes together.

I agree that there aren't any bad houses this year. I didn't think there were a ton of S tier houses, but no bad ones at least!
HHN is the most fun you can have as an adult at a theme park
Apparently as a child, too, these days. There were way too many kids at HHN this year.

I absolutely loved Museum, anyone else? I think it was my #3 house this year
The concept was cool but a museum should feel more spacious and lived in. Each room only had a couple of props so it felt bare.
A little late listening to this (Hi, I'm Cass' Brother). Ya'll spoiled us with our first HHN. Great time overall. Looking forward to next time
after the RIP tour, do you get express for all the houses or is it just standby lines for Orlando?
Not to the houses, but you get Express for any rides before or after your non-private tour during HHN.
You do at Studios Hollywood 😎 we got our own RIP line to each house and express for rides. USH RIP tour is way better than USO
Conming soon Minecraft PARK work
When’s the next Epic update coming? We love those.
In a week or so probably
I Love This Episode 🥰

@@chrissidell2050They did a special limited pre event night this year that had less capacity and were pulsing the houses. But it was a bit pricey.
@@ThemeParkStop seems worth it to be honest
I was waiting for Ian to say what he thought was off with the vibes.
HAAAAA! Number 69!!! Nice!!! 😁😁😁😁😁
69 Dudes!
Cleveland rocks!

@@Nojintt Sorry, we are spoiled and have many years to compare this years show too. There have been several years that were so much better than 2024.
