50:22 The Thing: Assimilation is my all-time favorite HHN house. I don't scare too easily, but that was the only time in my life where I literally had the experience of my legs turning to jelly and being unable to move for several seconds.

Totally agree. I ended up skipping the last one of his segment because he was so hard to listen to. Made me think of the cringe of listening to someone read out loud in school
I was there for 23,25,26,27,28 and 29. It was so nice reliving them by hearing you guys talk about them. I also missed the last 2 years so I’m really happy I got to hear about them now. Thank you for this!❤️

I really hope some people have footages of Halloween Horror Nights 2000 event (especially because of the Dark Torment haunted house, due to its unique experience, and Universal Classic Monster Mania, due to how interesting and cool the maze sounded).
Tbh, I almost stopped going after the Walking Dead years. I was so bored with that property, and tired of zombies in general, it had actually soured me on the entire event. The weakest era in HHN history, in my opinion.

@@ShaySuveran so, the first appearance by the Terra Queen was in 2005, and 15 years later, when she was said to return, would be 2020. but because of the pandemic, HHN didn't happen that year, so it was pushed to 2021. so, technically the Terra Queen returned 15 HHN's later, in the Gorewood Forest Scarezone at HHN 30. she wasn't a big icon again, but she did make good on her promise. i hope this helps!

Sorry I'm new to this Universal stuff. I randomly booked a vacation back in January for this December, and I've been studying up on the park just so I know what I'm doing when I get there. It's gonna be my first time going. That's when I came across this video. Thanks again for clearing it up.

I had to wait to watch, but it was worth it! I really wish I could get more details/video/etc on the old houses that were before my time but, alas, they are lost to time.
In the stuff we can watch, I LOVE THOSE PROMOS!! The old ones are so much fun, especially the first HHN with Frankenstein et al! I hope RE does manage to come back sometime though. RE7 and 8 would make great houses.

You forgot to include a major part of HHN history... in Universal Studios Hollywood on October 31 1986 back when HHN was "Fright Nights" a scare actor fell between 2 trams and was crushed to death... Universal Studios Hollywood put "Fright Nights" or any type of Halloween event on a 6 YEAR hiatus until 1992 when they debuted "Halloween Horror Nights"🎃🎃🎃🎃

Awesome video, this must've taken decades to finish. But I'm so curious now, the two that covered 2019... their editing was great and props to em, but NO mention of Graveyard Games? They said the original IP's weren't that impressive, and if you've seen my vid on this year you know I am very much biased here, but GG was the best house I've ever seen (I've gone maybe 8 or 9 years, saw Scarecrow: The Reaping, shoutout to the guy who covered that, it really was an amazing house and probably my second fave). I refuse to believe that I live in a world where people saw that house and thought it was just okay. They even reused that lil blacked out sound tunnel in Hill House, which was also great. I just can't aaaaaaaahhhhh
This is more enjoyable than HHN lol atleaat you dont have to wait for an hour just to be rushed through the houses without allowing you to appreciate them.

Not brave at all i only been to knott n that was scary enough that was when i 18 or 21. Never again smh but i know Universal Studios is where the real movies are made smh so no one to them lol. Do i am not brave lol. I always been Disneyland person. Now i am made they got rid of mickey Halloween party and replace with oogie boogies party or whatever his name is smh. 😮.

HHN 27 is probably my favorite year out of the ones that I went to. It had my favorite IP house in The Shining, my favorite original house in Dead Waters, and my favorite scare zone in Trick 'r Treat
