I have 2 x R10's if this is the best BSA can come up with for a take down rifle they can keep it, not much design work went into that, a nice folding stock R12 redesign is all that was required

Good review 👍🏻 I've just got back into airguns after a fair few years, like most thing's these day's there's so much snobbery and negative comments generally and this includes feelings towards BSA! I currently own one R12, im so pleased with it I've ordered another one ( zero magazine issues) and as soon as i can afford it i might buy one of these? I'll leave the over priced, leaky FX's alone 😂

The next version will be an FAC .338 300bar fill & regulated for only 3 shot shots per fill ,has an extra long fully shrouded barrel threaded for suppressor and it's touted to be James Bonds next sniper rifle. This is a really cool and I'd love one . Thanks Mark , Shoot Straight Stay Safe & Stay Well.

It’s just a thumb screw on an r 12 with a fancy case! Did it take them long to come up with that? Just buy an Airmaks Katran and a backpack

Would the FX Pantera compact be smaller ?

      I think the FX overall
Is 7” shorter but could be wrong.

I'd like this but not over keen on a plastic stock, im probably missing the point of the take down thing? But walnut or laminate would be better 🤔

@@richardwitherstone7396The video said it was a soft touch (rubberised coated) WOOD stock. So, cheap plain beech covered with rubberised product, which, when damaged, exposés the pale coloured wood beneath, to ruin the aesthetics!

I think if they are going to make a super cool tactical looking, take down rifle with a carbon bottle to make you feel like james Bond or some kind of rogue assassin (i mean they call it the classified ffs), Then they need to make it with a side lever. If anything, just to make it all go together, I mean its not exactly a traditional rifle is it lol. I get the decision to keep the bolt action on the more traditional looking rifles especially with guns like the ultra when it came out again a few years back, but even the new ultras have a side lever and they are pretty much half the price of this. This, in its all black tactical guise needs a side lever. End of. I think this is bsa trying to maximise profits because they don't need to redesign anything or change anything and the have a new product to sell.

Bsa designer's want their arses kicking.....bet that idea was rushed, after someone had a skinfull one weekend....and thought "oh shit....that idea for a new gun has got to be handed in tomorrow....hmmm what if we just replace the stock screw with a turnable one by hand....and I'm sure I've got a old suitcase lying around.....phew...I've done it again....bsa are going to give me a bonus for this one"😅

What is so special about this rifle nothing if you have an air arms to undo one screw and the gun comes in half so you can call all air arms rifles takedown rifles come on BSA . We are not stupid 😂😂😂

If they had kept it called “classified” would it had less fuss? Seems to have really stirred people up.
