It should be renamed the 'BSA Bullfrog', because that is what it sounds like.
I'm really liking all your reviews. Thanks for your effort.

Airguns of Arizona has this rifle discounted in price. I guess it's a slow seller in the USA.
I love this rifle though. It looks nice to me and the weight doesn't bother me either. What's important is how well it's built, accuracy and reliability.
Thanks brother for reviewing this rifle. You don't get many reviews on it. 🎯🇺🇸
I think it sounds funny though 😂

It's certainly a slow seller in .177, which is all they have left.

hi ,south west shooters ,the weight kind of disappears as soon as you shoulder the gun ,its so well balanced ,rock steady shooting with no rest ,also the cocking leaver is right by the grip perfect , not stupid by your shoulder as the gamo boxer ,good to see a new review of it ,thanks

Yes. I actually forgot to mention the point regarding the position of the cocking arm.... It is perfect! Thanks for the comment.

Hi good video I have an FX Wildcat MK III which is equally at home on the bench and in the field it's really accurate. The Bullpup does make it very easy to manoeuvre. The FX is only 2.8K which is really light and it's the same price as the BSA.

Hi Chris, whilst you’re on the bull pups, do you think you could get hold of the Artemis P15?? Have heard good things...be good to see it on test.

A few years back , I was at the NEC for what was ( for all intents and purposes ) the launch of this rifle / bullpup , actually was quite looking forward too it , with no preconceptions at all , never been a big bullpup fan , never disliked them either , to cut a short story even shorter , I asked the gentleman at the display if I could have an hold , to which he ( obviously ) was happy too oblige , he handed it to me , I had a few looks at it from different angles , didn't even bother too shoulder it .. handed it back to him .. walked off , turned round to the wife and said , " if that sells itll be a f**kin miracle " ( please forgive the french ) and I was right ( straight from the mouths of several RFD owners ) having seen multiple vids of it , im not saying its a BAD gun
    It's accurate enough
    Its robust
Being a BSA its probably well built
Trouble is .. its came out when the likes of the FX Wildcat were about .. and there lay the problem .
Anyway , a great vid as usual , can't see ANY resemblance to the CLX btw , except for the black colour .. ( tactical version ) the one is light , the other weighs the same as the average german newly born .. ..

I think you allude to something quite interesting. FX are clearly killing it with their marketing, I wonder exactly what it is that make their guns so appealing to people? No doubt, I have my criticisms, but they are smashing the marketing.... Did you ever fire a Defiant?

No , but after the show , and a few yrs later , ( early this year I think ) I visited my local rfd ( do it regularly ) and held , shouldered the defiant , then the weirauch BP .. not a bullpup fan but the weirauch felt JUST RIGHT .. im in no doubt the Defiant is a good rifle , theres really no need to shoot it , chaps like you do the job for us to gather accuracy data .. to recap .. as soon as I saw it , I knew it wernt gonna be a best seller , if it was , there'd be a BSA Defiant MK2 would there not ...
At the range today , shooting my new acquisition , tested loads of pellet types / weights ect .. tested mostly over 30 - 40 mtrs ( basically because thats as far as I would comfortable with shooting live quarry ) nevertheless , I was hitting 10 & 15mm spinners at 60mtrs .. not all the time , and not with all pellets ( the idea behind testing ) but a fair few times .. target boards go out too 55mtrs ( I think ) hitting , id guess 10p groups ( not every time , with every type of pellet ) but thats ok .. as I say .. I did it for fun , well , that what I were there for ..

Oh yeah .. the new S510T ( tactical ) thought I'd treat myself after being not well for a while .. .177 .. bought a new scope for it , but couldn't get the elevation down ( free EXTRA high rings thrown in ) so rather then wait , and send off for just the high mounts , I swapped with the scope I had on my RTI Prophet , that has built in 20 moa rail ( well I sure its that ), sorted .. both zeroed and bang on

The black pepper one looks great. But 4.1KG for such a short gun is a bit much. For FAC power the air tube is a bit on the small side.

I had one for about 6 months and sent it back numerous times before I eventually gave up and swapped it for an FX.
Horrible rifle. BSA advertise 232 Bar fill and 120 shot count in .177 but the regulator can't handle anything above 200 bar as it produces erratic underpowered shots between 232-200, so the actual shot count is less than 100.
Very picky barrel, only really liked Bisley Magnums. Safety mechanism failed twice on me resulting in a disengage trigger on a live cocked rifle where I had to take the stock off to fire the gun. Asked around various gunsmiths to try and fix these issues and nobody would touch it because it was an "overly modified Gamo Fox" and difficult to work on, so nothing about the rifle is really British at all apart from the stamp. Which is fine, but then don't sell as British made/designed and hike up the price.
If it sold for £600 then it would be great little ratter, at a £1K price point it's way, way out of its league compared to the competition.
All my opinion only and I may of course have had a 'bad-un', but I will never buy BSA again. They have lost their way and just rehash their greatest hits now, tarting up as special editions or tweak some Gamo model and cry innovation.

Thank you for your constructive comment. It's important to be honest, and the truth is first impressions count. I have been quite critical of certain makes and having bad experiences really leave a bad taste in your mouth. Totally understand and respect your feelings on this and please continue to share your thoughts on future videos.
