Great video Archie, people don’t realise what happens and the misery a drink driver can cause to so many including their own families. Also to those that think traffic cops or any cop should be out there catching real criminals, spend one night in their shoes, knocking on a family door at 02:00hrs in the morning to tell them their loved one will never be coming home. Giving CPR to a child because of a drink driver crashing into their parents car. It’s harrowing it’s images you will never shake, yet they will continue night after night day after day trying to keep our roads safe. They are human too, they go home to their loved ones and have to push those images to one side to live a normal life outside of work. It’s not all about driving around in fast cars with blue lights flashing. The reality’s are so much different, I spent 14 years on the force and although retired in feb, those images will remain with me forever. Think before you get in that car, I promise you it’s not worth it

This video is amazing, what a ride. It’s crazy that a little bit of alcohol or drug can not only give the person a criminal record but could end a life. This is a reality check. I so hope this highlights what the consequences are but how serious it can be.

Thanks for doing that Archie, I lost my cousin her husband & their daughter that was 9 days before her 2 years old to a drunk driver that hit them in 126 miles an hours and noting happen to him he got 36 years in gel with out the opportunity of parol, it so sad to loos a family member like that and he will not see his 2 kids growing up for stupid act, he kill his best friend too…

the 1st versions of breath testers were fallible IE a person could have been drinking and the device would show 0 From experience about 43 years ago :D When I was a big drinker :D
The Police officers were pissed off to say the least, but for them to take it further in like a blood test reading they needed a positive reading.

Those that drink and drive will always drink and drive - period. Videos like this do little to stop it apart from cynically gain views. The real problem is drug driving or driving the morning after the night before.
