I watched this again just to be reminded of his father and the story behind how he got to where he did in life. My own father passed away almost 2 1/2 years ago and thankfully I have either heard or witnessed most of the stories of his life's journey, many of which might sound fabricated to those that didn't know him.
I worked for Adrian in the 80’s,had the best time and met a lot of famous people. A legendary company then, and is still,Long may the name of Duncan Hamilton continue. 🙏🏻
This vid arrived in my feed after watching your emotional reveal of your Dad’s passing. It has made it even more special to watch than what it would have been 8 odd months ago and even back then it would have been an exceptional watch. Thoroughly enjoyed it and your Dad’s manner and memories.
Loved hearing your dad’s stories. Lucky to have him! Nothing better than making money doing what you love! And your dad is bang on about Electric cars!! Dull with no character.
Archie, your dad is simply awesome. He's intelligent and interesting with just the best stories to tell. You must be so proud of him. I really hope that you always treat him with the respect that he clearly deserves.
This is a incredible video! Your dad is a incredible man, he’s doing a incredible job! He has the most amazing stories and he seems one of the nicest people in the world. Archie you would make a incredible host!
One of the best videos you've ever posted mate, your dad is a gold mine for automotive content, I bet there's hours of stories he could tell that your subscribers would love!!
Archie your dad is a true legend and a gentleman, I can see your viewers love him as I do. He should consider doing a book, also you should learn the business as one day you will have to step in and steady the ship. Could we see a second interview with Tony included as that would grab my attenetion for sure. Best wishes Alan B..
Nice to have - my father was a test driver for Rover (leyland) had the record for smashing up the most cars in a night after a steering wheel came off going around a corner to which he ploughed into a fire escape on the side of abuilding which collapsed smashing quite a few other cars..... Always limping but hard as nails, loved to race Norton bikes back in the 60's
Mate, I've stumbled across your channel tonight and I've been watching your vids for the last 4 hours. You are such an inspiration and your videos are what little boy’s dreams are made of. I am a paramedic from Sheffield and I’ve been suffering too with things. Cancer has been destroying my family’s life for the last 3 years and I also feel like I’ve lost my identity a little. I began watching your videos because of your video with the police. I’m a huge fan of Interceptors and actually know some of them in South Yorkshire, but then I discovered your amazing personality and presence. Please remember that when you can’t see the way forward, that may just mean that you need to just sit where you are for a moment. It doesn’t mean there is no future, it may just mean you need another day or so before you’re ready for it. You are an inspiration and your dad is so proud of you. I am inspired by you… and so is my dad.
This is by far my favorite video of yours. Cherish these moments, it's great hearing a conversation between you two and your dad's stories are great. What a legend
Fascinating. I thought there was no way I'd watch to the end but great interview. You actually allowed your Dad to answer the questions in full. So many interviewers butt in half way through their sentences.
Enjoyed that, cheers Archie. That's a heritage worth keeping alive, as family businesses go. You should record more of your Dad's recounting of the family business history and his anecdotes, but not for us, for you, the next gen.
Archie, this type of video you done with your father & tony are so far some of my favourite videos you’ve produced very informative. You definitely have a skill for interviewing and should consider doing more content like this. Possibly even a podcast?
Good morning Archie after watching your moving video of the sad passing of your Dad I went and found this video. Your Dad was very clearly a character with great stories and what a great video to show in later years. RIP Mr Hamilton.
Your Dad was an absolute star Archie, I loved watching this video. The love, pride and respect between you both was palpable. I’m a fan of yours please keep up the great work.
RIP came back here to watch this video after watching Archie video revealing his dad had passed away. RIP Adrian, he loved his racing and cars. No doubt in car heaven looking down on you proud.
Just excellent , loved every minute , thank you and your dear father for this . Also Grandfather Duncan for everything that made this all possible in the beginning .... true Legend .
Read up on your grandfather. Good to hear he was from cork. Us Irish are made of tough stuff. Fair play to him. Bit of a legend. You must be very proud of him.
Your old man was down to earth and is like myself don’t like change electric cars are rubbish new supercars are all the same!! Rip to him sounded like a great fella
Lovely video Arch, could listen to your Dad’s stories for hours. Would be epic to hear more about your grandfather’s racing career, you and your Dad should film a documentary and visit the old circuits and recount some of the epic battles with the likes of Fangio, Hawthorne and Moss.
If I had your Dad I would just want to absorb every nugget of knowledge from him. Learn from him, listen and work hard to follow his example and help continue his fabulous legacy. Or then again you could fart around making You Tube videos with Paul Wallace....
Thanks for the Adrian content that I have been asking for. By far your best video. I would love to sit down and have a beer with him. He and I would get along. Cheers from South Florida.
Just shows that you are actually getting into racing on your own, otherwise your dad can technically sponsor your entire career, amazing work Archie doing great just don’t clickbait but I can’t hate on your either because that’s what essentially works, also bring back the simulator videos maybe a video with your girlfriend on the simulator it’ll be fun . Cheers mate ✌🏻
Repeat business most important thing I learned from selling and renting property. Excellent interview with an experienced business father. Your father is right down to earth.
You should try and review these cars Archie! This is a gold mine of motor sport history, there is so much everyone could learn, including you before you take over the business! I would LOVE to hear these beast and see them moving with you (or your dad) at the wheel.
Hello again 'Archie', your Dad must have some brilliant tales to tell, good to see how you both interact, plan some more interviews. Regards, RichardA.
I met Duncan Hamilton once when we stored his red Ferrari 512bb in my uncle's garage/workshop in Yeovil back in 1986/88 where I worked & Mr Hamilton lived in Marston Magna.
Dam, it just goes to show, all our wealth and everything we've ever done to some degree whilst living has no real value, you just end up leaving everything behind and go straight into eternity with absolutley nothing.
Rest in Peace Adrian. Huge loss to the automotive enthusiast world and to racing history and heritage. Thoughts are with you @archiehamiltonracing and your family
What a wonderful thing to have on record in times like this Archie.
I watched this again just to be reminded of his father and the story behind how he got to where he did in life. @Watson Roy thanks for the info nobody requested
This is easily one of my favourite vids of yours. You’re both such characters but extremely good at what you both do.
Podcast time mate I think!

Archies got one hell of an Inheritance
Needs to get himself involved more in the business
@@afg974az .... maybe not a good idea.... with respect Archie knows naff all about cars except how to drive them...
Archie would spunk all the money on exhausts and vinyl wraps.
@@psbrayshaw Literally haha, and then sell the cars 2 weeks after getting them wrapped
And Archie should start a podcast, a true interviewer.
😂😂😂😂
He's a legend 🙌
