£50-70 million, on public roads, in the rain, going to lunch. I love how Europeans view collector/classic automobiles vs the way we think of them in the US. Here in the US, these tend to be over-restored garage/museum pieces that seldom see life beyond a concours. It is great to see these on the road or on the track. Thanks for sharing the sight, sounds, and stories from your day in these lovely cars.
Nick really , really , really loves Nettie ,who wouldn't love a woman who can drive a half billion dollar stick shift effortlessly , and pilot whirlybird to boot!
Nick really , really , really loves Nettie ,who wouldn't love a woman who can drive a half billion dollar stick shift effortlessly , and pilot whirlybird to boot!
Well that was as great as I was expecting - Annette is clearly a fantastic and talented lady. Loved the bit at the end when Nick asked where the cars were. I have always admired the Mason’s and how they let these cars out to be seen and/or driven by others (and raced by themselves) - especially in the context of their eye watering value. Annette also appeared in the Minder episode ‘All Mod Cons’ - she really can do it all! Great video and well done to all!
Brilliant Jody! This is such a great channel and is more about the content than anything else. Insurance on the 250 must be ridiculous! Annette wasn't hanging around with that 250!
What an impressive Lady Annette is, and she was absolutely gunning it in that 250 GTO. Once again, the filming quality of these is top notch. Massive respect to the Sweet Shop crew.
I'm so thankful you decided to launch your own RUclips channel, this is spectacular quality content, amazing production too. Thank you for putting out these videos and giving us a glimpse of these rare beauties! Personally, I'd love to see more content on both these cars. And more of these engine and exhaust sounds!
Why on earth have I not found this channel before now... Wonderful these cars are being used and not sat gathering dust. Beautiful. Love the mix of meeting the people behind the cars too. In a pub! Thank you.
I worked for Nick for a few years and have seen most of his eclectic collection. I was at his London garage/office once where the GTO was stored, along with his drum kits etc, but the thing I remember the most was the original three seater push bike from the Goodies hung on the wall. Yes, I'm easily impressed! 😎
WOW Annette really knows how to give it some in that GTO, such a stunning car the 250GTO, and an icon of the automotive world! Your so so Lucky Jodie. What an epic day that must of been.
Jodie - this video was absolutely wonderful! Your way of interacting with Annette is so refreshing for a car focused channel. As I’ve watched your content over the past several months (of course I’ve subscribed), I’ve always been taken by how supportive you are of your interviewee. But with this video, the light bulb illuminated. Your manner strikes me as relationships first and cars a close second. Your way of being a hard core car enthusiast is so well grounded in being human. That is so wonderful, refreshing and uplifting! I’ve not seen any other automotive content that takes your approach. You have something really unique and very special to offer (at least in the context of RUclips world). Bravo - please continue what you’re doing!
I saw what I believe to be a 250 GTO in Newburyport, Massachusetts yesterday. My jaw dropped not unnoticed by the lucky passenger. I've loved this car since high school more than thirty years ago when I promised a classmate in art class that I would visit her one day behind the wheel of this masterpiece. I can still hope! Thanks for sharing your lunch excursion and to Nick Mason for having the good taste to acquire and preserve this most beautiful of racing cars. Take care of yourselves!
Now this is how Ferraris are meant to be driven. The pure respect and excitement of true friendships come across in this one. You need to do another one of these and let’s hear more on the other cars in that collection.
Lovely, used as they should be and how nice of you to share the joy. Respect for the pilot! It would be interesting to know the back story of how Nick found and got these jewels way back.
Absolutely Brilliant! ... the cars, their sounds, and the spirited driving was outstanding... and the conversation between both ladies was fantastic as well! Well Done! Cheers.
This was one of the best videos i’ve watched in a long time. It is so refreshing, joyful and exciting to see some properly amazing driving and genuine conversation. Mrs Mason you are fantastic driver and would love to see you drive that 250 one day. Great video and beautifully filmed
Wow, I really enjoyed that episode. Annette is a wonderful person to interview. It's great to see someone who passionately enjoys what she does. The cars were gorgeous too.
Dear Jodie, what a great episode you released here, wow! As both of these cars sound absolutely incredible from the inside, would it be too much to ask for a second video just with the raw and uncut interior shots, so one can enjoy the pure symphony of these master pieces? Keep up the awesome content, love to see and hear more. All the best
@@francoisg3500 That one had a racing heritage (won the Tour de France and also competed in Le Mans) - that's guaranteed to put the value up considerably. Still, I don't think I'll be buying one soon. Would love a ride in one though.
The GTO is the most sensual car EVER! This was 1962, this car influenced the shapes of so many cars afterward. I see it in other cars all the time. It's nice to see one being driven as it was intended, and not locked up in a collection somewhere. And driven by a woman no less! I could not subscribe to your channel fast enough. Bravo!
As a kid my folks bought me a 1:18 model of the GTO. It even had the same plate as Nick's car (only realised that now). After 30+ years that model was looking a little worse for wear so my lovely wife tracked down a new one for me. It's as close as I'll ever get to the real thing so thank you for this cracking video.
The sound & pure beauty of these Ferraris, simply mind blowing, 🤩❤️ I was looking forward to this Jodie, you didn’t disappoint👌 Your channel is wonderful, refreshing & a joy to watch🙏🏻

Aside from what was a great video, I am really appreciating this channels alternative approach to automotive story telling, one that isn't just relying on shock value that some of the old meat axe's use to grab attention while trying to stay relevant as they run out of new and refreshing ideas. While I might be biased as a Kiwi, I REALLY enjoyed the 2ep's with the McLaren boss, both at the head office, and then in his own collection .... keep up the great work Jody, this channel is a breath of fresh air!!

So much fun! I found myself grinning ear to ear for the whole video! Sweet Shop crew, thanks so much for your work and well, just a really nice sit down!
Superb! These are fantastic videos -- not sure how I have missed these.
Thanks so much 😇
@@KiddinaSweetShop 'Fair comment where fair comment is due' !! ;)
Another fantastic episode! That bit from 2.59 to 3.06 is amazing!
Two inspirational humans. Two aspirational cars. Perfect. Thank you.
What a fantastic video. 4 beauties in 1! I used to live near the Bathurst Arms and knowing the roads around there I'm full of admiration for taking the cars out and properly driving them. Thank you ladies (and Nick).
Ahh cool! Glad you enjoyed
How cool! I had the opportunity to drive in a 250 tdf. These cars are really special. After a week or two you still feel that enjoyment in you.
Great video. Nice cameo at the end there but great to learn more about Nettie. Top work
Thank you!
The best content…Period…cars, people, personalities…production..Full House!!..
😊🙌
Brilliant can’t get enough of this channel 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you 🙏
So cool to see a 250 GTO video that isn't just someone waffling about the price tag.
