I am frustrated not able to find this fresh noodle in supermarkets in Canada. It’s hard and dry on the refrigerator shelve. I even tried to steam it soft before frying, turned out to be a messy dish stuck to the wok. 😖
@@garlicbulbss I steamed them because it was refrigerated hard. I will try ‘straight to the wok’ again. Thank you for the advice. This is my favourite noodle dish in the restaurant.
@@ceciliac2225 Just separate noodles before cooking either stir fry or cook in soup.I did the same thing before and it was a disaster. It is a little tip from a chef.😊
@@ceciliac2225 Exactly, the supermarket used to put the rice noodles, rice rolls in room temperature and they were soft and easy to handle. Right now every market places them in the fridge and harden them all 😥. I am in Toronto too.

@@stellarosso8073 多倫多或者溫哥華肯定有很多港式製麵廠,但係我所在嘅城市 Thunder Bay is in the middle of nowhere, 而且只有兩三間中餐廳, 佢哋一定係從很遠地方入貨, 而且應該都係批發形式, 像我這樣家庭式用量是沒有可能買到的了!

You need to separate the noodles into strips before you cook then straight into the wok. No need to steam.
