Just wenn I found myself scrolling and wasting my time on the internet, I see this Video and am thankful for the calming homemaker theme which internally I have been longing for. Praise God! Be blessed.
Your home is beautiful. I love the old shelf used for the pantry and I especially love the lessons on being a godly homemaker. Thank you for all your videos.
Thanks for sharing. I live in sunny South Africa so l only hang up laundry outside. Occasionally under roof on my back veranda when it rains...which is seldom. Dry climate. I also cook from scratch, something l find rewarding and creative.
A “how to” video of your sprouted grain would be wonderful! I would love learn more about that. Thank you so much for your content and encouragement for Biblical womanhood and homemaking 💕
I really enjoy this format you’ve been using. I love seeing your kitchen. That table by the window with the sun coming in makes me want to grab a cup of tea and sit there😄.May God bless you guys❣️
Today has been a hectic, busy day and this video was a nice one to watch and start to relax. I loved seeing your clothesline already in use! God Bless you Kelli.
I have found that once I made your own hummus its something that I don't buy anymore. We enjoy added roasted garlic. I usually do a few heads of garlic and keep them frozen until I need them. It's nice to put each clove on parchment paper (once they have cooled from roasting) and then I keep them in a small mason jar in the freezer. This allows me to keep out a few at a time. We also like to add in roasted red pepper in the summer or even peas in the spring, steamed beets in the fall. The list can go on. Its a delicious snack or spread on a sandwich or meat.
Ooo, that is so helpful with pre roasting the garlic and storing them in a mason jar in the freezer, what a helpful idea, thank you so much! And I'll have to try the beet hummus when we get ours growing, I so appreciate your tips!
Another great video! Could you do a video making the chocolate you mentioned? I currently buy a very clean chocolate, but it's expensive. I would love to try how you make it. And thank you for sharing how to make brown sugar! I had no idea it was that easy!
You have inspired me to start homemaking. I thought it was so hard to make food from scratch and I would’ve never thought I’d be able to build my home economy, but in the past month of finding your videos, ive already started a garden and no longer buy any cleaning products/hygiene products because I make it all now. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to encourage other women to serve their families by creating healthy foods and products!
Your testimony blesses me so much! Thank you so much for taking the time to share and I'm so grateful it's been helpful and you are already making huge strides in building your home economy!!
I've never thought about pollen being an issue until seeing your's and a few other ladies comments, that would not work. I've never been to Oregon, but I've heard about the rain you guys get, do you ever get used to it?
@@homewithkelli I am a native Oregonian but to be honest I have never gotten used to the rain. I wouldn’t mind so much if it only rained a few days a week but it’s so gray and rainy for months in a row. I will say. That the rain makes our state so beautiful and green! So there is that. Once our kiddo graduates high school in 3 years we are thinking we will move somewhere with at least 4 seasons.
Since the vitamix pulverizes everything, I skip the tahini step and add the sesame seeds along with the other ingredients except oil. I add that at the end.
I've done it that way in the past and doing it this way, I noticed making the final texture to be more smooth. Maybe I'll try it again that way and just see if I needed to blend it more!
I'm so glad! I also got maple syrup that was on sale, and a whole bunch of their organic potatoes and sweet potatoes I'll use as seed starts for our garden. It was a fairly small order this month =)
You don't have to at all! If I'm in a crunch for time, I just soak them overnight and cook them. Sprouting makes them easier to digest, so if I have the time, I prefer to do it, but it's not necessary!
Oh My Goodness...is that a chest freezer in your 'dining room'....I thought I was the only one in the world 'inconvenienced' by that kind of oddity😆We have so many freezers that we ran out of room to put them. So now I have one upstairs in the eat in area of our kitchen & it hogs most of the usable room. 1st world problem. Too much food in my home & no where to put it. My husband & I are so industrious & resourceful & pile on a whole lot of blessings from the Lord!!! I need to be more grateful for the food & not worry about the aesthetics of a freezer where I don't want it.
I've been making my own hummus for over a year now, and after trying MANY different ways, this by far is the best recipe with tips from a great source! ☺ ruclips.net/video/NbXC0B83S7k/видео.htmlsi=lzuKQGyPFQaheHZy I often think that I take the harder, longer, less convenient way too, but so agree with you on why I do it! ☺ Much love to you, Kelli! ❤ I was just thinking...I sure would love to do an in-person mentorship with you! I just love so much of what you do but feel overwhelmed by trying to figure it out from your videos. Spending time in-person learning from you would be a blessing on many levels! Simply being around you would bring much joy to my heart! 🥰
Thank you, that is very kind! I'd say you're doing a wonderful job, remembering a bit of your story you've shared with me. I like what Elisabeth Elliot says "do the next thing." It's encouraging and grounding- we may not be able to do all we have in our mind, but we can do the next thing! I look forward to watching and learning from this video on the hummus, thanks so much for sharing.

I hope this video gets the appreciation it deserves.

Great, I will write this down on my list and hopefully get to it soon!
I love sheets on the line too. Here in the south we can’t hang them out now because the pollen is terrible!

Love watching a pantry restock! ❤
Yay, I hope you like it!

Oh it is my favorite place to have tea and read- the coziest corner of our house! Thank you so much for your encouragement!
I love the paint color in your dining room 😍
Thank you! I also think it's so pretty, it was here when we moved in!
You are very organized. 👍Now you need a lemon orchard and coconut trees.

Thank you so much Cheryl, and I understand those days, it's nice to come home and unwind!

Going to need to try this hummus recipe. I make my own but have never sprouted my chick peas. It looks so creamy!
Yes, it's soo creamy!!
I just love your content. Always a pleasure to watch. ❤
Thank you so much Kristie, you're always so encouraging!
My favourite kind of videos to watch! Loved it Kelli xx
Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Love hummus!
I admit. I am jealous of your hanging clothes! Too much pollen for me. In addition where I live in Oregon it rains for months at a time.

I just started making homemade hummus a fews weeks ago! I never thought about sprouting the chickpeas! Lovely video as always
How exciting, isn't it so good
I just love this video! Thankyou ❤
Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it!
You inspire me. I make hummus sometimes, but tahini is a new idea. I recently made my own mayonnaise, and it was so easy!
Thank you Patti, that is very encouraging! And how fun you're making mayo now!!
Another lovely video
And thank you for this encouraging comment as well!
I really appreciate your videos. It’s been a blessing hearing/seeing all you share with us. May our Lord continue to bless you. ❤️

hahaha yesss, the balance of beauty and function! And also at this point, it is just so convenient that I don't even notice it as an eyesore!
Can’t wait for the pollen to stop so I can hang clothes out again! Im in south Texas and everytining is yellow!
Oh so true! I didn't think about pollen in some areas!
Why do you say I bless you instead of God bless you?
