I appreciate your vegan/vegetarian videos more than any of the others that I've seen because YOU DON'T ATTACK OTHER PEOPLE TO MAKE YOURSELF SEEM BETTER. Seriously, you are the nicest.
Two years ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.. After going through chemotherapy and feeling completely terrible I decided to go vegan and started to feel so much better. I recently stumbled upon your videos and have started to incorporate raw meals every day. You are such an inspiration to me. I just want you to know that I've been in remission now for six months :) cancer free here I come!
I love your videos sooo much! i tried watching the banana girl but she's so rude and judgemental. you on the other hand actually give advice on how to be a vegan and you're so sweet when you explain things :)
Yeah she and her husband are condescending. I guess they dont realize that they lose some to the cause by being rude. Actually I suspect it's not about the cause but rather just preaching to those that agree with them anyway. This lady is fun and interesting.
this is a great video for those of us who don't have a whole lot of room or money. I am an over the road truck driver and if you know truck drivers they are generally unhealthy. I was eating fast food twice or three times a day daily recently I have gone to a raw diet. it is difficult at times because of the environment of truck stops but I store my fruits under my bed just like you and with your videos and a little planning it has really kept me on track to living small and raw! keep up the great work and awesome videos!
I'm in college and am about to start changing my diet to consist of fruits & vegetables with minimal animal products and breads. I don't have a car and depend on others for transportation often & thought this would hinder my diet goal, but knowing you did it too is encouraging. I would have never guessed! Thanks for being so willing to share your story and encourage others to eat right!
I'm in my second year of college and it is such a struggle to eat raw but with your help it is making it much much more easier! your videos truly brighten my day kristina
I'm new to this lifestyle but was and am currently a healthy eater in college. I love that you didn't drink! I myself live in a huge party town and have had two nights of drinking in my life and hated myself after for how I felt! I can totally relate on finding people with similar interests and having fun in other ways. Hopefully more college students can find you and be inspired by you to lead a healthy lifestyle and be proud!
Wow this is so inspirational... It's true. People sometimes laugh at me when I have a huge lunch box full of apples and other veggies with me during classes. They always say I'm so weird but I know I'm doing the right thing. The other day a kid came up to me when I was alone studying, and he said he had some personal health issues and if I could help him. It was the best feeling 😄
Wow, this is probably my favorite video from you so far. You are such an inspiration and motivation for me to change my lifestyle. Hearing how hard you worked in college definitely raised my respect level for you so much. Watching this has made me seriously decide to change everything, be strong, and stay true to who I am and who I want to be. Thank you!
Me and my hubby are preparing to go fullyraw and we are watching lots of your videos. This one really encouraged me because we really don't have a lot of money to spend on food during the week, but I know we really want to make this happen. So, hopefully this will allow us to begin somewhere. Hoping God blesses us monetarily so that in the future, we can branch out as we grow into this lifestyle. Thank you for sharing your passion!

Kristina I love you so much! I am a single mom in college and being vegan is hard enough let alone trying to eat raw. Thank you so much for being such an amazing inspiration to people everywhere!
So I'm trying to transition into a raw foods vegan lifestyle and let me just point out, you made me cry during this video. With others as well, it's crazy how whatever I'm thinking, you always bring up and discuss in your videos. You're incredibly inspirational and sweet!
I tried fully raw a while ago and it made me break out horribly. It was so bad I didn't even want to leave the house anymore. This whole time I have been blaming the diet, but now I think I was eating too high of fat with the amount of fruit sugar I was consuming. I am in college now, so I am going to first detox the excess fat and then slowly work up to being high carb and truly low fat. I will probably be eating mostly bananas, berries, kale, cucumber and spinach since that will be the cheapest, but most nutrient dense as well. Maybe throw in an avocado once a week. I am very excited! I loved my raw diet, I just didn't do it correctly.
It's amazing to find passionate people on RUclips like you! I may not eat fully raw, but I appreciate your vibrancy and love of what you do. You are an inspiration to eat healthy!
you're amazing! you're such an inspiration. i feel like the hardest part about eating raw is the social aspect for me because people always judge and its hard resisting when you go out with your friends or go to cookouts. Sometimes explaining my lifestyle choices gets tiring because people will have ridiculing responses or people will look at you crazy, so i truly admire your commitment and enthusiasm to eating raw!
I am thrilled to have found you and your passion for sharing. I am 55, work full-time, half-time in college to be an Occupational Therapist and Nutritionist as I want to learn and share how to eat well with children. Diabetes is overwhelmingly prevalent with our youngsters. Where I work people do not eat healthy and make fun of the smoothies I drink, so this video gives me strength to soldier on and ignore them. Thanks!
You do know her family is quite wealthy? How do you think she can afford a very nice house, all that food for herself, all the food for her organization, and whatever else she has. I am not hating on her whatsoever, I just want to acknowledge the fact that not ever college student (or anyone for that matter) comes from a family with money...
Deena Elraie She is out of college, and makes money from youtube vids and her organization.. She also wrote and e-book. And she could have had another job after college.
+Deena Elraie I was thinking about this too! She doesn't seem to realize that regular access to this type of food and the money for it aren't available to most people. I'm sure everyone knows the difference between healthy and unhealthy food, but everyone also knows the difference between $28 for bananas and $12 to feed the whole family fast food. I'm a vegan from a working class family, and I can't relate to any of her tips here.
I think you're like the coolest person ever. I love that you really opened up your heart in this video. I'm 80% raw and I want to be fully raw. The closer I get to fully raw the more I can physically feel and see the effects. Thank you for you kind words, Kristina!
I enjoyed your college story and I like your "can do" "where there's a will, there's a way" attitude. You are a picture of health and beauty, full of good energy.
Hi! I have started eating fully raw--I am in LOVE with fruits and veggies, but I am worried I am not eating enough or getting enough variety. How can I make sure that I am eating the most nutritious foods on this diet for my body? Also, I feel like I am going to the grocery store every other day to stock up on fruit. Any ideas about how to plan, and know, how much I should get when food shopping so I only need to go once or twice a week.
I have to admit i really like this video b/c you seemed so real about your experiance. I always wonder about how my college experience will be like and how i will be able to still eat healthy but you gave me some great ideas! Thanks for sharing!
When my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, she opted for a raw food diet rather than chemotherapy and she is nearly a year post opp now and very healthy! Good luck with your journey and congratulations on your remission :)
Everyday I want more and more to go all in! I love finding all the raw eaters out there and watching all the videos! I have 2 kids who I still cook meat for and keep milk in the fridge for as well. That's my downfall. I cook for them and end up eating just a bit here and there. They are with their dad every other week (who is not a LFRV) so I don't want to transition my children when they will eat meat at dad's anyway. Any raw vegan moms out there with advice?
My daughter is going to college in August. She is doing work- study so she isn't making money so she is forced to eat all her meals in the cafeteria. There will be no food money because i am unemployed and can't help her They do have a big salad bar in the cafe. Can she do this with using the cafeteria only? We are just thrilled we figured out the scholarships/loans etc for her to go! I would give her the Vitamix if I won one. She is overweight and wanting to go raw. Help!
Wow Kristina. I just went through all the comments and they are wonderful, but it is A LOT to read!! I can't believe you go through all of the comments and you take the time to respond!! PLUS you also have Fb, Instagram and other social media!! So impressive! Thank you so much Kristina for your time!! You are such a blessing!!
I spent $12.48 at Trader Joe's for just smoothie stuff and I was very happy, but it was only enough to make 1-2 smoothies. :( I want to buy in bulk but don't have much money or the storage.. :(
You have a lot of determination and would be a great role model for anyone out there full of excuses as to why they can't do something. Thanks for the advice.
I have a 7 year old son who was just diagnosed with asperges and anxiety disorder. He has been wanting to become vegetarian for about a year, just yesterday we got the ok from his pedestrian. I'm a bit scared since I don't know many recipes pls help
Wow, this is super inspiring! To make it through college raw and on a budget...one could definitely be raw for life! Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt experience...and you were so kind & inclusive to your peers. Simply amazed and motivated
How convenient that you posted this on national college commitment day! I'm going to be a freshmen next year and you addressed all my concerns about living in a dorm and a new city next year. Thanks! HUGS xo
Wow Kristina. I didn't know you were raw in college. By taking that step so young, you showed real dedication to your lifestyle changes and health. College kids can be cruel too. I'm glad you decided to do what was right for you no matter what
Lol, it's still nowhere near affordable. She says she bought a case of bananas, a case of pears etc, and that a case of bananas is 28 dollars- for a lot of students that's their entire weekly food budget on those bananas.
+Sir Pudding right but, it's her WHOLE food budget on one food. How do you afford the pears, bananas AND lettuce for only $20 when the case of bananas alone would actually cost more than that for most ppl?
I askinkg myself the same thing, how is that possible to do it on a budget... I wish I could also eat like that, but don’t know how to affort that... Did she buy organic?
Guys, how much money per month do you spend on raw food? I can spend 168 USD for food and drugstore stuff per month, not more. That's 42 dollars per week. I'd love to try going raw, but I'm still not sure if I would be able to do it. And be honest, please :)
Natalie P. I spend around $50 a week on my food, but I try to buy most of it organic. Also, I buy a good portion of it at Costco. So I'm not really sure if that helps.. This week I bought some OJ, 6 bunches of bananas, a watermelon, organic strawberries, organic lettuce, organic leafy green mix, organic plums, organic dates, organic pears. I also buy almondmilk and I have a few other things I keep around for meals like pasta and stuff.. I'm not raw, but I'm getting there. So I would estimate, maybe $60 a week? If you don't buy organic, it'll be cheaper..
Kristina, you inspire me so much.. specially in all the ways you managed to keep with your fullyraw diet through the years. we all know it can be tough sometimes in college, but you were so wise and mature on keep thinking about a long-term diet and health instead of doing what everyone else does in college (and sometimes they don't even want to, for example drinking). I admire you so much. Thank you for doing this, you keep me going! cheers from Brazil
Kristina, thank you so much for this video! I just became vegan a few months ago, and I'm a flight attendant. Since I'm constantly on-the-go in a way that is very unique (plus I feel like I'm living in a dorm since my base is far from home), I feel like I'm in college all over again. I've been looking for ways to store and afford food while still being vegan. These tips will be very helpful to me while I adjust to having a base that is away from home. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for making these videos! I'm going off to college soon, and I finally will be buying my own groceries. I am SO excited to go fully raw! Every time I get a craving for something unhealthy I watch your videos, then I start craving fruits and veggies instead! Hugs!
I LOVE YOUR RUclipsS! I am 60 and don't know how to navigate instagram, Facebook, twitter and other social media so your RUclips is soooooo valuable to me and I'm sure others like me. Please never stop please❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This was encouraging. Positive that you followed what enjoyed to be apart of groups that shared your interest. I've noticed that I've compromised myself and don't feel that I belong with most people that I associate with.
I have been watching your videos all day! I am going to make my first raw meal tomorrow and I am super excited. Red cabbage, red apples, strawberries and crushed almonds and top it with a berry dressing!
Students should definitely ask for a Vitamix as a graduation gift when heading off to College. You are so vibrant and beautiful. Thank you for sharing all of this. Although I don't eat fully raw, I have incorporated more raw foods into my diet. You are an inspiration.
You are so inspirational and amazing! It has helped me so much to watch your videos! You just emanate light and happiness and it really makes me want to change my life and live a better way. Thank you for sharing your life with us and inspiring us every day.
I find it amazing how you stay so positive! It's really admirable. I'm not even fully raw but I am a vegan and already so many people give me a hard time about it on a daily basis. I can't even count the number of times I've been called difficult. You are really an inspiration to keep a positive attitude and to find people around me with a similar outlook on life. Thank you so much, I love your video's and your recipes :D
You have such a bright and contagious spirit/energy. I truly enjoy watching your videos and learning from you. You inspire me not just in improving my vegan lifestyle, but also to emulate your warm/kind energy :) Namaste
Chica, I think it's awesome that you ate raw during college! I too lived in Texas and now I live in Nashville. And I completely agree with you about how getting people involved in our lifestyle clears up any misconceptions they may have about being a raw vegan. As soon as I started making things for people to try and coming into work everyday with a big smile on my face, I was no longer the "weirdo drinking the green gunk in mason jars!" Hugs 💃
I appreciate your vegan/vegetarian videos more than any of the others that I've seen because YOU DON'T ATTACK OTHER PEOPLE TO MAKE YOURSELF SEEM BETTER. Seriously, you are the nicest.

Катерина Докузова No how good you sugar coat it. She is making money by poking people's faults.
I juice everyday in college. It really is hard to balance everything but this video made my realize that I am not alone lol. Thank you for sharing

I just recently started the fully raw diet as of new years. 7 years in the making! you are a big inspiration. Thank you.
Wait, you didn't have a blender, but you made smoothies for yourself? How? 2:24
that you so much for making this video and all your others. you are my biggest inspiration! im in college, and have been struggling with eating healthy, but you make it seem possible !
Thanks for these tips! I'm a full time employee AND a part time college student on this lifestyle so I know about time management ha ha.
you rock! This is an amazing story. I can't believe that you did all of that while in college!
There was a frickin Wendy's ad before this video... what the hell youtube, come on... Literally about half on their ads are for unhealthy restaurants with meat all over the damn screen...
You know they make fresh salads right..?
Haha they're not advertising any salads in their ads. And the salads that are advertised have meat in them?
Sarah Miano They are random ads.
Sarah Miano haha in my case it's mostly an Alpro ad that pops out. Alpro makes vegan "milks" so I kind of enjoy them.
Obviously I know they're random wtf

When I buy organic bananas they stay green and go bad but never turn yellow.
***** will keeping it too cold in my apt keep them green? im serious they stay green and go bad :(
Covencraft If you put bananas for example in the fridge, they turn black. Try keeping them on the room temperature and in a sack with ripe apple.

You don't have to buy organic bananas because it has a thick peel. :)
The warmer the temperature, the quicker it'll be ripe

How convenient that you posted this on national college commitment day! I'm going to be a freshmen next year and you addressed all my concerns about living in a dorm and a new city next year. Thanks! HUGS xo
your parents were not ultra rich while you were in college?
Wow Kristina. I didn't know you were raw in college. By taking that step so young, you showed real dedication to your lifestyle changes and health. College kids can be cruel too. I'm glad you decided to do what was right for you no matter what
But how did you pay for it?
She bought by the case. It's way cheaper
She said in another video that her budget in college was $60/week
Thanks Kristina! You are inspirational
Did you ever get fruit flies in your dorm?
Dang tt. Seems like a crusade against vegans lol
Dang tt. Seems like a crusade against vegans lol
Gurl what lol Assata Acey
I'm only vegan but you are a source of hispiration for me !
A big hug from Italy!
Karin West Thank you for your reply! :) I have no idea how much I'd eat so it's really hard for me to imagine the budget.
try going to Aldi's supermarket!! its beautiful! lol
I would love it if one of my college buddies invited me to watch a movie and eat bananas together! You sound like a lot of fun, Kristina!
Great testament to being true to yourself!
Im craving a pizza...
I'm so grateful for you Kristina! We need that light in the world. :-)
TL;DR: Bananas.
Thanks again!
isnt her family super rich? im sure they sent you money!
I've noticed that I've compromised myself and don't feel that I belong with most people that I associate with.
pure confidence and dedication, pretty inspiring
This was SUCH a helpful video!! Everytime I need a boost on this raw journey, your videos are just the ticket. Thanks!
I just love it when you say, "may you wonder..." So cute. Love @fullyrawkristina!
Dude, dedication. This is inspiring period. Outside of healthy eating.
You have such a bright and contagious spirit/energy. I truly enjoy watching your videos and learning from you. You inspire me not just in improving my vegan lifestyle, but also to emulate your warm/kind energy :) Namaste
I love your personal stories! They are so inspiring! How lucky you are to have found your passion at such a young age. You are a true role model :)
I’m so glad I found someone who loves fruits and vegetables too!
