I love the fact that not only was everyone wearing PFDs and drysuits. They had Ice Awls for self rescue as well. You and Dave host some amazing adventures. I hope that one day I can join you on one of these adventures of a lifetime.
OMG!!! No words... or too many at once. Just when I thought you guys couldn't get any more amazing, you just go and do THIS. Once more in love with your spirit, your continued working with the elements as they present, trying out new ways, as safely as possible, and getting better with every experience. I remember my first backcountry canoe trip, with my first portage (what do you mean I have to carry the canoe over this rocky hill?), then I remember my first winter trekking with you guys (Oh, we don't just walk on flat, frozen lakes? We still have to portage?? With a sled???), and now I see you sliding on and off ice in canoes and then portaging a packed, sledded canoe... no words, just a very wide smile and an even bigger pull to get back outdoors asap! Love you, stay safe and thank you for the videos!
Was a weird winter, crazy mild ice was all over the place. Hear a few people went through on their sleds, people take for granted how fast things can go from fun to bad.
This is awesome!! I rented a canoe from Killarney Outfitters for an April trip and was told I was the second one to rent after a group went out earlier in the year - I was left so curious for more details. I’m stoked to have found this video, watched you on Alone and this trip looks epic!
