Nice pocketful of FAs!!! Super cool slot y’all found too. Woop! Woo!! Poor Hank and bugs. Awesome video as always. You guys are always so positive. Love it.
Great video ! Thanks for sharing more of this beautiful Province ! And you two never cease to amaze me with your skills and attitudes. Get out and about and have fun more often ! Ever find any caves or old trappers cabins or Native rock cairns etc ?🙏🇨🇦❤️🌲🦅
Wow ! It worth the effort, AMAZING recreation for you guys, you BELONGS to each other that's for sure... I love your family spirit... but here I am confused with the announcement of "Alone season" and your participation in this competition??? Could you comment how it's evolving??? GOD BLESS ! 💞🙏
I was in your neck of the woods last week fishing and camping with my son. On Alone, you are the one I'm cheering for FTW! The inside tine of antlers do definitely count! Nice find. Cheers
Thank you James! I don't think it will be this year because I think it will be cancelled because of COVID-19 but we'll be back for sure. We love that event!
You guys are awesome 👌 I've been trying to watch the first 2 or 3 ALONE episodes but it won't work for some reason 😕 , guess I'll have to buy it 👍from Prime. Can't wait to start watching.
Can i ask you a question about your time on alone? Im curious my spouse and i where rooting for you and are proud of you regaurdless. Your amazing. We want to know with the smoke issue chimney issue why you chose not to use your barrel find and make a fireplace. I have made chimneys and camp stoves many times that could have been your ace in the hole.?
Well it was probably 3/8'' thick with no holes and I wasn't about to bust through it with my multitool or bust up my axe trying. Believe me if I had a grinder that would have been the first thing I did!
Thank you and again you really made us laugh and cry at times. We are both very woodsy people but unfortunately the life cards we where dealt we are stuck living in a small city. Unfortunately my spouse vanessa has multiple sclerosis and it really got bad last few years. Had a plan to have a nice hand made cabin by our mid 30s and now where there and no land to buy or money to buy it so hopefully we can both get back to the woods where we belong. Its how we grew up and its all i want to do is to give her that beauty again of waking up to the sound of nature and real freedom of self sufficiency before she can't physically. Even though we can't get her to the woods as much as we like we find enjoyment watching alone. I personally made an audition but decided to not send it its not fair to her and i need to be around if something happens. But thank you. Anyone who can make my beautiful smile is a freind in my book. So thank you.
Great question! So normally at the end of the day, one person rappels and the other walks off the top and hikes around to meet the other. In this instance, we knew we were coming back, so we left the sling and caribiners there. In fact we're going back right now! You can also install "rap rings" on the face of a climb and then you don't leave any gear behind. You usually intall the rings so that multiple climbs "top out" and use the same rings. Then you just feed the rope through and when you get to the bottom, you pull the rope. Make sure there's no knots in your rope first though! :)
My gawd! i thought going home meant returning some place with paved roads within walking distance. Air conditioning. Only difference, now, seems to be her man, dog and a 4 wheeler.
The rope isn't knotted at the top, just passed through a ring/ carabiner, etc and you weight both strands on the rappel. At the bottom you pull one strand to retrieve the rope. The anchor has to be left behind. In this case at the end of the weekend we walked the cliff top and recovered all anchors then walked off.
Hey miss lure i just watched a video with a woman who got one of your knee high moccasin kits. Im interested in a kit. How can i get one and how much are the and colors. If possible for men, women, and child boy. Thank you.

I am always amazed how long the winter green berries hang on into the summer, they are the longest stored berry on the bush, I know of.
Awesome stuff. I can't help but think you look and sound so much like Sandra Bullock in this video.

OK--at 21:27---there's Dave coming down on a rope. What happens to the piece of equipment at the top--how do you retrieve it after you get down?

Is it me, or with the helmet and glasses, does Kie look a lot like Sandra Bullock?
Not just you, she gets that a lot!
Wow.Knowing anything about climbing...when y'all Rpell how do u get your rope and gear back lol 🤣.Thanks William
