Kashmir is just an excuse for the existence of the Pakistan army.
Without Kashmir, there's no dispute with India.
Except India, Pakistan has no enemies.
Without any enemy what will be the justification for the existence of such a massive military which eats almost 70% of the nation's budget?

We have Afghans at our Western borders who have ruined the sub continent many times throughout the course of history.
The British actually engineered this issue to benefit formerly their Royal Army if there was no dispute between these two countries how the Armies of both countries could be controlled a huge trained Army who fought two world wars in the nook and corners of Europe and Far East.
The other beneficiaries British left for Ernie g benefits were their civil.service and the feudal lords. India was successful to get rid of those Queen's loyal feudal lords but u fortunately Pakistan could not.

One minor correction. The never ending Jihad in Kashmir did not start in 1988. It started in the 14th century. A new chapter in the ongoing saga started in 1988.

That is inaccurate. The gradual decrease of Hindu population in Kashmir is a long term geopolitical phenomenon, while the 1988 jihad is an anti-Indian genocide. They are very different to one another.

    Q) What is this Kashmir issue?
Ans) They just want Independence from India.
    Q) Why do they want Independence?
Ans) Because it's a Muslim majority so they don't want to stay with a Hindu majority India.
    Q) How did kashmir became a Muslim majority at the first place?
Ans) Just like how West Bengal ,Assam, Kerala are now becoming Muslim majority gradually before our eyes and Hindus are doing nothing about it.

Modi can solve kashmir, make LOC border. But Pakistan is too unstable and will be so for some more years at least. But the decline of secularism in India is a blunder in India's national security and integrity. Indian muslim population could have been perfect bridge to kashmir, but the way they have been attacked themselves in the new discourse is a shame.

If you feel that secularism has declined in recent years, then please explain why secularism didn't help before and why is it that the party which everyone claims to call anti muslim is currently responsible for restoring relative normalcy in Kashmir. Please remind me again when and why was there an exodus of Kashmiri hindus from kashmir? Where were the rest of Indian muslims during that time period? Did they not have a voice during highly secular period of India?

    • @hawkingdawking4572
      @hawkingdawking4572 Год назад

The so-called secularism in India is a mirage. It never existed and never will. India favours Hinduism as a de facto state religion. That's why you can see Hindus getting preference even in criminal cases.

Please define secularism. Without all citizens in the country having the same laws there is no secularism. If a religious minority has its own laws then it lives in its own ghetto,it's not secularism. Specially when that minority had the option to migrate to another country which was created for that religion (and would follow their own laws)
