.....flying casually around the galaxy in mini skirts and T-shirts. Those were the days :)
Those were the days.
Ya gotta love these 50s sci-fi
@@mikebond6681 Hiya Mike :)
@@constantinadellopoulou3725 Hiya Constantine, what a beautiful name. I love these old sci-fi,s..
I too have been saved from TV
@@mikebond6681 Thank you Mike :) - That makes 2 of Us. He! He! He!
The costumes, the hairstyles, the way they talk to each other.
Wish I could get into a way back machine sometimes
Realy loving the Rocky Jones series, it's a hell of a lot better than Flash Gordon!!
Hollingsworth Morse also had his hand. in a few McHale's Navy episodes. Also the Filmation 70's show " the mighty Isis."
Why the giant boulder in the middle of the room ?.
Space patrol, Tom Corbett , Space cadet, Rocky Jones, Space Ranger. The 50's was stuffed with space shows.
I was born in 1948 and remember (well barely) this being on. Thanks.
Thanks for posting Rocky Jones movies. Did not know about these space series. It’s clean with no agendas, and no sex innuendos and children are children..well behaved. Also everyone treat each other with respect certainly we don’t see that in today’s movies...
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX
I love the variety of movies PizzaFlix provides. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! May the Sauce be with you.
She's showing a lot of legs for 1954.
Sci-fi could get away with it, like Anne Francis in "Forbidden Planet".
As a result, we got Yeoman Rand in Star Trek for my generation.
Thank you Sci Fi!
What Starfleet must've looked like when Christopher Pike was a cadet.
Most people would not know who Christopher Pike is :)

Your comment occasions a pleasant flashback...friends gathering at an upstairs flat I was residing in back around 1980, give or take couple years, to watch The Menagerie on a used color TV my folks got me, telecast on the local UHF United Paramount Network station, channel 50, Detroit MI...we're talking some serious vintage here.
I still remember the close of the broadcast. The Talosian tells Kirk...
Actually, I take the liberty of quoting straight from the script...
UHURA [OC]: Message from Starbase Eleven, sir. Received images from Talos Four. In view of historic importance of Captain Pike in space exploration, General Order Seven prohibiting contact Talos Four is suspended this occasion. No action contemplated against Spock. Proceed as you think best. Signed, Mendez, J.I., Commodore, Starbase Eleven.
KIRK: Chris, do you want to go there? (flash) Mister Spock, would you care to take Captain Pike to the transporter room, see him off?
SPOCK: Thank you, sir, for both of us. (flash)
KIRK: Er, Mister Spock, when you're finished, please come back and see me. I want to talk to you. This regret table tendency you've been showing lately towards flagrant emotionalism
SPOCK: I see no reason to insult me, sir. I believe I've been completely logical about the whole affair.
KEEPER [OC] Captain Kirk.
(screen shows the healthy young Vina and healthy young Pike hand in hand)
KEEPER [on screen]: Captain Pike has an illusion, and you have reality. May you find your way as pleasant.
@@wrybreadspread One of the best Star Trek episodes ever. There are certainly a lot of good memories and episodes. I liked the one where the pollen spouse from the flowers caused everyone to lose their inhibitions.
Even the Shitty Ones 💩 Are Classic Filmography.
IE - Trouble with Tribbles. A Best Forgotten Episode 😂
Must have been so good that they did it on next generation as well 😎
Splendid! The 50's US sci-fi movies are absolutely fantastic :) :). Great contribution to mankind ;) Yeaah ;) many many thanks dear PizzaFlix. You 've just saved me from TV. Ha! Ha! Ha!
Video conference calls, Rocky, and the gay nightlife, and Mars.
The more things change, the More they stay the same.
@@mikebond6681 Ouahahaha :) brilliant ouahahaha! And the outfit! Ingenious!
@@constantinadellopoulou3725 I loved this movie, too bad we couldn't have sat around with each other and joked about it.
This movie had it all.
Another one that has it all and then some is forbidden planet.
If you haven't seen it.
It's a must on your list.
@@mikebond6681 In deed! Too bad :( We could have had such fun.... :) :) :)
@@constantinadellopoulou3725 Indeed, Indeed.would b so much fun. One day you will be teleporting here to there. Ya gotta love those melon helmets.
Winky, winky:) ;) this was such a fun movie.
Did you check out Forbidden Planet? A must watch
Man
Hunt
Ya that pic on the cover says it all
When Vena walked through those sliding doors, yup this is the film for me.
Thank you ever so much, its great!
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you.
way kool....never seen this. thank you.
yes only in 1950s can a 12 year old go into space and stop evil aliens. Does anyone remember a Star Trek episode called Galilelio Seven, where they used the shuttles fuel as signal flare and got rescued by the Enterprise.
This have me stitches! Hilarious! Based on the technolgy of ancient cultures!
Thanks for the upload. Great show.
I must say, that Vena has nice boosters.....
Heavenly orbs.
I'd rather have the evil queen.
She must be wearing a "Jane Russel" bra, lol.
Alpha-Omega The fashion in the days was called Rocket Bras.
She wants to ride Rocky Jones. No matter what, she just can't do it. Damn.
Thanks
This movie has a lot of tech ideas, invisible rocket ship,..another magnetic ship!
Why is there a giant rock inside that room for ?.
thank you for B- horror movie I love it and see you again and Bye.
Rocky Jones, I loved this show when I was a kid. My sister made fun of me. What fun!
Thanks for watching! May the Sauce be with you.

Hey! The doors "whoosh"! Just like in the *other* franchise!
Vena is the template for Kirk's women crew members on Star Trek of the 60's.
The jump rope. in the door trick!!.

I see what you mean. Dated but effective.

Even so. The cape is a little hokey, but I guess no more so than all the sundry futuristic fashion in the totality of sci fi...Flash Gordon, Jetsons, pulp magazine covers, etc
Meteoric waste. Been there. Done that.
Vena Ray, Stewardess , coffee maker, side kick, baby sitter for Bobby, and navigator for Rocky Jones. Nothing like having a girl around the rocket ship.
A tiny bit of trivia: the director, Hollingworth Morse, would go on to direct and or produce several different "horse opera" series. Mostly known for work on Gunsmoke and Bonanza, if my memory serves, he was also involved a few times with other series.
Interesting
well he certainly was a good director in this... I liked the way he framed the close up shots of Vena..if u know what I mean....
Hi there Howard. I was wondering if you would happen to know whatever became of actor Gerald Mohr. He was the voice behind the radio character in The Adventures of Philip Marlowe. Apparently he died in 1968, and he was born in 1914. At 54 years old that is pretty young to die
I absolutely loved his voice. I also thought that he and Humphrey Bogart would be great acting together. Do yo have any knowledge about him? I would love to know.
" Casa 7, where Vena's brother works. I guess Rocky will have to find something else to do.
" Oh Vena, I'd like a snack too" ( she slaps his face.)
Wow first saw this on MST3k years ago. Thanks for upload.
Gad. Can only imagine the caliber of comments from that bunch
@@wrybreadspread I hope that’s somewhere on RUclips because that’s all that I was thinking when I was watching this. It’s even worse than Manos Hands Of Fate. ( but way better than Gummo. You want a lobotomy after that one. )
I like how the "granite" wall moves when the guy is pushed against it.@ 44.34....
Happy days
Aye just blast them. Nothing has changed 😂🇬🇧
I wanna VIZIO-GRAPH!! 🤓
History repeats its self plusss I live with my big man rocky J's anyways how r u guys 2020
Keep on going
James T. Kirk was a bout 7 or 8 when this took place.
MMmmmm..Cleolanta.
No one understood space travel back then, the golden years of astrophysics.
Back then they knew vertical landings by rocket WAS possible. 80s and 90s, not so much. #SpaceX
The guy who plays Higgins (Judd Holdren) also played in the Captain Video serials (not the TV show version, that was (Richard Coogan, then Al Hodge). Holdren & Hodge would each go on to comiit suicide. :(
57:49...careful Jones - you've walked straight into the hands of the enemy. Rest easy pal.
Reminds me of lost in space
Another "Adventures of Superman" actor found elsewhere: Professor Newton!
.....2 Moon Cycles Overdue! Catastrophe ahead! Crisis! Geee!
well maybe she's pregnant...
@@alpha-omega2362 ouahahahaha! :) :) :) Brilliant :)
LOL old Doc Holliday even plays a baddie on these space shows, surprising how many of these actors play in westerns as bad men, must be the looks of their faces
1:02:02 Vena Ray (Sally Mansfield) grabbed and handgagged.
1:13 HOLA!
No worry tho u called it being high af. I and it knows what's popping
That's the kid from stagecoach west to lol
Vena lactating?
👍👍👍👍
Winky reminds me a little bit of an Actor called [ Jake Gyllanhall spelling of his last name is wrong, he also has a sister that`s an actress ] cant remember her name though.
..... then she does her "womanly duty" and makes everyone lunch while smiling... definitely fantasy.
3:00--- 🤣
Hey I have a 52 inch Vizio... graph myself lol
Pirates Of Prah
Captain Winky should tell that big dumb helper to quit scaring the scientists boy by screaming and running into other rocketships .

"Gay night life" hints of coming Stonewall riots. lol
Goofy!
Hollingsworth Morse would also direct episodes of " The mighty Isis" in the 1970's for FILMATION studios.
Winky's the gay character
Actually you are looking in the mirror....
