I've been watching these old westerns and other genre movies for a couple of years now, and I've noticed that many comment about how great these bygone movies and actors are. It's consistent, and all of you commenters are correct. They're the best. I don't like today's actors for several reasons, one being they use their celebrity status to mettle in politics. I don't care what their affiliation is, but their voices are amplified greatly, and the masses listen to their BS. Their credibility is gone now, and it's one reason why I've gone back to watching these oldies but goodies.
Come on, John Wayne was a convinced Republican and let it know. Some actors today are excellent and you don't hear them on the political scene (maybe because they are English or Australian). The main reason why a lot of intelligent celebrities talk about politics is Trump. You can't be smart, cultured, and support this illiterate guy. The same happened in France when the far-right could win the presidential. But at least, Le Pen is educated.
@@bethbartlett5692 Not everybody. Tell me of one country besides the USA that has Freedom of Speech built into their constitution. We're just a drop in the bucket.
@@koyotekola6916 What matters is the content. When a politician lies blatantly to manipulate you, would you call it free speech ? When a politician says that the Muslims want to install Sharia to scare you, you check. Guess what, Arab Republics do not apply Sharia. When a politician says that climate change is an hoax, just because he's funded by oil corporations, it's not free speech, it's criminal misinformation.
I always had Alan Ladd way up on my list of the best actors and men that I ever saw. Put James Garner, Glenn Ford, Bill Holden and Burt Lancaster in there #1 spots also. We'll never see the likes of them again.
It was amazing how the little short arse Ladd became so popular amongst cinema goers. When women comlpained about his behaviour, his excuse always was that someone put him up to it.
@@MykalMalloy Lol 😄 John Wayne was getting rolls , maybe as far back as the 40's acting wasn't to advanced at that time, he probably just held on to what he knew when starting out.
Ladd is called Dutchman in this movie. Ernest Borgnine is Dutcher in the wild Bunch. Don't know why these kind of comparisons in movies is interesting to me.
Good dang flick...and lots of scenes of Arizona, complete with majestic saguaros. Thanks VLG C.

Great actors Alan Ladd and Ernest Borgnine 👍
Great upload! Thank you!
Those were the days when they made well acted movies.
Why are so many scenrs cut out? This is unwatchable.

I also liked Alan Ladd and the others. Real men!!

Alan Ladd.🎉His best is SHANE
LoL from India
I would include Randolph Scott and John Wayne in his later films.
John Wayne couldn't hold a candle to Alan Ladd, or for that matter, anyone!!!
Ah, don’t you just love these old westerns?

The Badlanders. It’s a western remake of the classic film noir “The Asphalt Jungle.” Anthony Caruso is in both versions.
It's a good movie. Atiq Khan. Karachi.
Great movie thank you
Ernie and Alan, great movie.
Very enjoyable!
I've never been a fan of Alan Ladd but, this movie was not too bad...did enjoy it!!.. Kevin.. 🙂
Me too. He was too 1950’s corny western goody, wooden actor. This is the first time I’ve found him acceptable.
@@MykalMalloy 'wooden actor' , I think you just
described John Wayne. 😄

As far back as the 30's.
.
A little cheesy in places, but worth the watch.
Using the term 'cheesy' is a little more
than 'cheesy' .
😄
Great movie, thanks .

Good movie, cheers
Why the ads. I paid for no ads.

Why don't they go to an optometrist,
maybe they just need glasses...
😄
Great
Actors
Yes you are right good acting i have never seen it before ❤❤❤
Ah, another good one.
Rotten Tomatoes
I wonder if the hoteles in the old west actually looked like modern hotels from the fifties!
Great movie thanks
Of course Borgnine was in The Wild Bunch it started raw and climaxed even more raw.
THE BEST....THANKS 💰
James gardener are you crazy😢
Part of the movie is missing
When you watch a movie for the first time it does not matter if a part is missing or not.
Agree!@@dirkmul4802
The Badlanders…Ernest Borgnine was married to Katy Jurado . 33:27
Pourquoi il y a pas traduit en français
Quand on parle anglais
Definitely scenes gone missing, still interesting. It's not Shane though.
The first scene was the old Yuma Prison, I toured that years ago..
Heads up, no cowboys, just gold miners.
A. Good movie ❤️❤️
That's tucson not prescott
Nothing like SHANE.
Just as good.
Very entertaining.
This movie is 'The badlanders'.
This western starts out pretty raw for a western food that time. Then it slows down.
And not a hair out of place.
EXELENTE
A picture of Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption II. Clickbait bullshit. Thats why you got all the views in such a minimal time.
The Badlanders 1959
Katy Jurado! Ella es muy hermosa...
A different kind of western. Lots of tension and double-crossing
jupms all over the place can't watch it
The Badlanders.
CLASS
I like that
🎉😮❤
I see john Wayne is not on your list or Clint eastwood!
❤❤❤
I guarantee you that's not Prescott !!!!
Too slow.....
Silly music
Well it started good till the river scene then cuts to freedom scene, so no more of this movie 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
