Thought this was going to show the embroidery process using water dissolvable or do you have another video demoing this? Thanks!
Get a tennis ball and wrap the savie around the ball then get a little wet the sylvie ball and dab your project. I seen it on another video so I tried it and it works. Just dab and it lifts right off sylvie gets rid of sylvie however uou spell it.
The best way to take it off in my opinion is with the steam fron an iron, man does that solve a few headaches
I did the same tactic before but it's a pain in the ass while in a production run and having everything by the side drying off
Hope this tip helps some of y'all
If you in PA I saw your Jeep at Wegmans awhile back and that’s how I found your RUclips! 💯💪🏾
Well thank you for subscribing Brittany I appreciate that.
@@adubbproductions not a prob man! 💯💯
I take a paper towel and spray with water and then iron the paper towel. Sometimes I need to do another paper towel depending on material of the blank. It was on a video I found somewhere and it has worked for me. I also use the kind you hoop under too as someone else recommended, it definitely works nice but is more expensive.
Good stuff. That’s the way I did it previously. Dab it with a wet cloth. Thanks Kristin.
Watch the video by John Deer embroidery where you uses a tennis ball with leftover water soluble stabilizer on it and he spritzes a little water on it and uses the tennis ball to get the WSS off. Check it out.
I will. Thanks.
This is the method I have used!
I would definitely wear that, the font looks amazing.
Thank you Patrina. I’m going to focus more on my website. It needs updating styling and improving.
i love your videos so much! thank you so much for all of your insight and inspiration
I needed this video! Good looking out💪🏽
Hello, I’m new to all of this . Have you used a steam machine? Just asking.
You mean a steamer. Like a iron but a steamer. Like the one in this video? ruclips.net/video/B_nQJ5XB5Vs/видео.html
What font did you use is it available i like it it would be nice for some projects I have on the go
It was created in illustrator and digitized. It’s not an available font.
Very useful, You always looking out for everyone!!! And great track that you have at the end of your videos!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🙏👍🏻
Gotta help people get their stuff to be better quality. We gotta take down thes big companies and patronize each other. Keep the money in the average citizens pockets. The big companies don’t vibe it back to us so we gotta create our own buyers and sellers community. Thank you. I’m gonna shoot a video for the song as soon as I stop being lazy. Lol
@@adubbproductions I totally agree with You!!! I don't think people that is taking the next step to give the customer the best quality possible is getting the credit for it, You are totally right customers and creators need to know that💯💯💯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌟🙏👍🏻
@@adubbproductions I appreciate you bring that up !!!
No problem. I’m always trying to figure out the things i can do to improve quality.
How did you get that black background?
Id say run water on the backside of the garment to get more water exposure on the stabilizer to get a more effective dissolving process
No. That would actually be less effective. If i run water on the back side it would have to go threw a layer of material then thread before it hits the part that I need to dissolve. As you can see the part I need to disappear is on top. Not on the back.
@A-Dubb So with this wash away stabilizer on top of the material are you using any stabilizer on the back side as well? or just the wash away on the topside?
Thanks great tip 🇹🇹
I stopped using wss when water caused a thread bleed. A good underlay is a better technique.
Tell me more.
@@adubbproductions about the bleed or underlay?
@@conlonhukill262 yes. Tell me how it works. I’d like to try it.
@@adubbproductions Underlay is done as part of the digitizing process. Some add underlay for each object, but I put a mesh (cross hatch) underlay under the entire design. There’s also a run underlay for edges like your satin stitch border that helps keep stitches even and not look jagged.
@@conlonhukill262 The design used in this video has a dense underlay around the edges. Hmmm i get the theory cause the underlay would keep the puffiness down but idk. Hmm. 🤔 it don’t work.
Would you recommend doing this on every sweatshirt and sweatshorts or just ones with very dense and high stitch counts ?
I’m gonna do it on all of them from now on. It might not be necessary for less dense sweat material but it wouldn’t hurt. Just an added step to try to get better quality. Probably not necessary though.
Question that has to do with vinyl, not embroidery (sorry but I wanted to ask you and no one else). I’ve got a large order, can I weed days in advance of the actual print schedule?
Yes. You can weed in advance and store the weeded vinyl. I used to use photo books with the large pages to store my vinyl.
I usually spray just a bit of water...
Have you tried using a heat gun to get rid of it?
No I haven’t. That sounds like it would backfire. I would not advise that. Might bake it in instead of getting rid of it.
@@adubbproductions Yea thats probably true only reason I mentioned it is because I saw some guy using it to remove the excessive foam that would stick out when he did puff embroidery on some hats and it worked great.
Yes it does shrink foam. But in the case the molecules of the wash away topping react to water differently than heat. It most likely wouldn’t dissolve, it would burn and possibly ruin the garment. Water makes it dissolve and wash away, heat? Idk I wouldn’t try it.
What backing do you use for sweaters ?
Where would u reccomend to buy ?
Cut away backing with spray adhesive. From amazon. Adhesive spray
amzn.to/38itO5k
They sell both items.
Hello all
Hey Eunice.
It looks time consuming I don't know man.
I thought about that. It is definitely time consuming the way I showed it because I wanted you to see the stuff dissolve but that doesn’t mean you have to do it that exact way. You can simple wet it and leave it to dissolve or put a batch in the washer. The alternative is a subpar embroider design. if you know better you gotta finger out how to implement it so your stuff can come out better. It’s up to you to take the information and make it efficient.
Spray it light on the BACK. Leave for 1 minute and see the magic. 🪄
