    "Pretend that you're talking to a doctor~" ahahaha I'm working from home right now and whenever I get tired and feel pain from sitting too long, I'm now always saying "Estoy cansado" (default), "Me duele la espalda" and now I can add the "Tengo dolor de cuello" in the mix. 😂

    Thank you so much. This is really "gold" :)
    Would it be possible to make a lesson which includes the internal organs as well?
    Many people know they have liver problems or a heart desease for instance.
    For us working with reflexology and acupuncture it would be a big help.
    For instance words for:
    Lungs, colon, stomach, spleen, heart, small intestine, bladder, kidneys, circulatory system (is the right word?) hormonal system, gall bladder, , pancreas.
    Words for reflexology, acupuncture and healing would be nice as well.
    With love from Denmark .

    • @TheLanguageTutor
      @TheLanguageTutor  4 года назад +2

      Thank you so much! There are several ways to say this but one easy way is to use the present progressive. For example, if you say "I am bleeding" it would be "estoy sangrando."

    Hola Dr.Evans! I have learned so much more in the past few days from you than I could in a year spent watching random language tutorials. You are the best instructor and this is the best language channel on RUclips! Just a quick question, is the noun "dolor" here accompanied by articles? And does it ever become plural in certain contexts? (el/un dolor, dolores?) Muchas gracias!

    Hi there! Thanks so much for your lessons! I'm enjoying and learning! :)
    I've written a few statements in English to translate in Spanish i.e. Doctor, my stomach hurts. I went to google translate to check my work and it states the translation as being "Doctor, me duele el estomago.
    My question is where do I go or where do you suggest I go to check that my work is correct as Google translate quite often gives me something different than what I'm learning in your lessons.
    Thanks so much for all you do!
    Stay safe and healthy!

    Soy el demandado número tres → I plan to move my studies here due to a proprietary issue mentioned on AIB ◘ Oaky so this is hurts; Are we going to study Legend of alacrán?

    • @ChiDraconis
      @ChiDraconis 5 лет назад

      Danny is your Doctoral certificate related to presentation of this material? I have hearing loss and elevated intelligence → your presentation is effective for resolving nuances of inflection that heretofore I faked with trabajadores; Fortunately I work with a native fluency speaker - that also shares some of my personality flaws that I have to contend with; The enunciation and elucidation is vital and clear - though were it me making the presentation I would utilize a greater directness ( emphatic ) due to a fast reflex that is my nature;
      We see the critical details that are needful to correct inflection; accent; and mood presented in a remarkably clear manner that I can immediately utilize with only moderate patience;
      Are you going to address Legend of El Alacrán in the context of common incorrect american-isims such as Speedy Gonzales which are risky for those doing incomplete studies - my business associate *Torac* states that this legend is known in the culture; But that may be due to the fact that he is a Used Car dealer
      Is this humor?
      No he is very intelligent and successful with extensive holdings locally;

    • @TheLanguageTutor
      @TheLanguageTutor  5 лет назад

      That is a good question! I haven't thought about that but now you have me thinking! Thanks for the idea!

    • @ChiDraconis
      @ChiDraconis 5 лет назад

      I have 2 basis for asking;
      1 Many persons work in areas not relevant to doctoral or degree studies - to a surprising extent that my idealistic world-view was non-cognizant of → I am merit-based yet most situations seem to tend to who-knows-who a/k/a friends and socialization - so this does not suit me well
      In 2-nd grade I was trying to do Theoretical Quantum Physics - which I now know to be a factually correct assess of what I was thinking; Yet today I contend with difficulties and battles that do not add up for me
      2 → the other reason is that a Doctoral Certificate holder is best encountered by realizing that is a master in all the inane mundane commonalities so if I am speaking to PhD holder in his subject area I have to be extremely accomplished not to bore with mundane commonalities and accept the teaching that is presented rather than - for example - going up against Leonard Susskind in-class with new and novel ideas that are neither new nor novel to them or in other words requires much much deeper contemplation and setup B4 presenting questions that are likely in the course-material
      BTW Legend of Alcran is presented as being in Durango but no one has ever croaked there; It is confirmed by my business associate to have some factual basis in the culture •••• the article Durango's Cult of the Scorpion - Los Angeles Times reports better work than what the legend contends ~ extremely funny it is supposedly why Used Car Salesmen in Mexico wear wide sombreros - so - I doubt they do but makes for good entertainment

    Hi maestro danny. I have a question is the re-wording method can apply in every conversation like I tried to watch some movies and their actual conversation in spanish is different from the subtitles which did they apply the re-wording method there because the context is really different from the subtitle.

      I've noticed that as well. Sometimes things just don't translate very well so they have to say something with the same general idea. It's strange sometimes.

    I remember from my studies 20+ years ago that Spanish for "my head hurts" is "me duele la cabeza". Is this expression not used anymore? Or is it just used in Spain and not LATAM? Or can you say both and Dr Danny is just teaching the simpler one in his beginner class?
