    I watched your “Preterite Tense w/ AR Verbs..” and some other classes in AIB. I found that the way you teach is easy to remember; so I tried to search “Preterite Tense w/ ER or IR Verbs…”. but was not able to find exactly what I was looking. However, I found your “The Language Tutor” channel. I am glad I found it.
    I watched a few other channels too, but I like the way you teach the best. The best things are that the summaries of your Spanish verb conjugations are so much logic, clear, and easier to remember. I made a few Excel tables of each verb conjugation you taught, so I can use them to make Spanish sentences as quick & easy references. Hopefully I can remember them all in short future.
    Really appreciate all of your efforts making these valuable videos. Hopefully and I know that more people will watch & subscribe this channel. Gracias por todo
    . sinceramente Holly

    This episode and the one before have been a huge lightbulb moment for me 💡! I’ve struggled with this for so long and you explained it so well! I was so pumped until the end when you used the example of the indirect object not being there…. yo le dije 🤯 I don’t know how I’ll remember that it’s not la dije, considering if I want to say I love her instead of I told her, it would be la amo 🤔
    But your lessons are awesome and super helpful! Can’t wait to get to reflexive pronouns, that’s been a roadblock for me as well!

    Does the verb escribe not change when there is a me,te,le,les,or nos in front of it because it is conjugated for Josès position as a 3rd person?

    o
    es
    e
    imos
    en

    • @TheLanguageTutor
      @TheLanguageTutor  5 лет назад +21

      That's a good question! The verb will always stay escribe in these sentences because you have to conjugate the verb for Jose. In each of the examples, Jose is still doing the verb. The part that changes is who he's writing it to. That's why the me, te, le, etc... changes. Does that make sense?

    I'm so glad you explained it, I'm getting close to finishing section 2 of Duolingo in spanish and, although this is easy to apply in theory it looks so stupid if you read every word out and try to analyze it. The examples I would assume would mean
    Jose I write a letter to
    jose you write a letter to
    jose he writes a letter to
    I would think what I'm reading, or possibly who I'm talking to isn't playing with a full deck.
