I’m so glad to see you on your own RUclips channel. You are the reason why I made an A in College Spanish l, and I’m passing Spanish ll now. You are simply an amazing and gifted teacher sent from heaven for people like me. May you continue with your Greatness and God bless!
Shervon, thank you so much for your kind words! I hope that I can help you get an A in Spanish II as well! Do me a favor and share the channel with some of your classmates!
We are not just learning spanish here, we are also learning correct english . Thank you for your effort Dr Evans, you are really, really a great teacher. You are kind as well because you teach us free of charge. So in return, i don't skip ads, for you to compensate from youtube. Thank you very much, more power and God bless.
I’m so happy Professor to find that you started your own YT Channel. I have been following you from AIB and I thought you need to have your own channel and you did! Will continue my learning journey here in your YT channel. peace and blessing your way, Professor!
This teacher is amazing. He took the boring out of this difficult-for-me grammar lesson and made it crystal clear. Just love it. I feel like I'm on my way
I watched your “Preterite Tense w/ AR Verbs..” and some other classes in AIB. I found that the way you teach is easy to remember; so I tried to search “Preterite Tense w/ ER or IR Verbs…”. but was not able to find exactly what I was looking. However, I found your “The Language Tutor” channel. I am glad I found it. I watched a few other channels too, but I like the way you teach the best. The best things are that the summaries of your Spanish verb conjugations are so much logic, clear, and easier to remember. I made a few Excel tables of each verb conjugation you taught, so I can use them to make Spanish sentences as quick & easy references. Hopefully I can remember them all in short future. Really appreciate all of your efforts making these valuable videos. Hopefully and I know that more people will watch & subscribe this channel. Gracias por todo . sinceramente Holly
If I am going to learn this in a classroom setup, for sure I'd zone out. We're really blessed to have an excellent professor who can help us learn challenging topics in simpler and more engaging terms. Thank you for loving what you do prof. Danny! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
By far my favorite tutor on youtube. I ALWAYS come to you first when I read some concept/subject to get another understanding of what I read. I have watched this lesson multiple times and test myself to see if I can say it before you write it down.
Dr. Evans you are the best! I am an older adult learner, who never had Spanish in school. A few years ago I took an eight session Spanish course and was totally lost. I gave up on Spanish, but thanks to you I am actually learning (slowly, but learning). Thank you!
I really enjoy the enthusiasm and clarity in your videos - very helpful! Do you have "worksheets" or anything similar to go along with your videos? That would be very helpful
Don Danny, i'm studying to become a spanish teacher specially for english speakers, and you absolutely made my day. The funny part is that i'm spanish but, as you said in a video, we often learn more grammar for our languages studying another language than in our school lessons.
These videos are super helpful! Decided to revisit indirect pronouns after seeing them frequently when reading and had a real breakthrough in my understanding! Muchas gracias!
The chart is a game changer, seriously I had such a hard time finding the verb ending or the object pronouns , but with the chart I have a easy visual in my mind.
Dr Danny you are the best teacher ever🤩 I recently stumbled across your channel whilst struggling with the subjunctive tenses (lessons 58 etc). Your teaching method was so helpful to me that I decided to take a revision course on all my studies so far. You are my revision course! I am watching this series right through from start to finish now! I can't tell you how helpful the series is for me... It's like you have taken my blindfold off !!! Thank you so much 😊
This episode and the one before have been a huge lightbulb moment for me 💡! I’ve struggled with this for so long and you explained it so well! I was so pumped until the end when you used the example of the indirect object not being there…. yo le dije 🤯 I don’t know how I’ll remember that it’s not la dije, considering if I want to say I love her instead of I told her, it would be la amo 🤔 But your lessons are awesome and super helpful! Can’t wait to get to reflexive pronouns, that’s been a roadblock for me as well!
thank you so much for the explaination. I didnt understand in spanish class but i understand more now that you explained it. still have to watch this video a couple more times, haha. you are a good teacher!
I learn Spanish to prepare for upcoming trip to Mexico. I've seen your lessons on AIB and now I'm glad that I found your own channel. You are a good teacher. I like the way you teach. Subscribed.
My God am I not so glad I found you, a friend recommended you to me😊I am irish, living in gran canaria, now in a school learning Spanish, i honestly couldn't get my head around verbs because my teacher speaks mostly Spanish. I haven't the confidence to ask her how to explain 🤦♀️after watching these, these visual charts are amazing and makes so much more sense, our teacher needs to use these!! Thank you, look forward to watching the rest of your videos 😊😊❤️
Hi senor! Thank you so much for your huge and invaluable support to the community in which we are learning Spanish. Thank you so much Another question is that are you the guy who used to teach Spanish in AIB channel? I find it really really useful. I have to admit that I'm a big fan of you when I watched AIB.
Yes thats me, but AIB owns those videos. I wanted to create shorter videos that are easier to follow so I started my own channel. Im so glad that you were able to find it!
Thank GOODNESS for this video, I've been so confused on duolingo as they just started throwing random 'le' and 'les' into sentences and I was so puzzled as to why on earth they belong there 😅 This concept actually makes sense and registers with me now, thanks a bunch!
Thank you!! I'm studying for my final and this helped me immensely -- instant sub! I'll definitely be returning for my basic proficiency class. I have a feeling I'll become a regular!
Hi sir! You have amazing tricks to teach Spanish. I really happy after finding your channel. Its very easy to understand your every class. Your teaching method is awesome as like as mathematics formula. Please share the link if you have any channel to learn Advance business English. Because I am not able to find any of your channel for the same. Thank you so much for your support and teaching us Spanish. Muchos gracias.
I really appreciate your videos a lot. As far as grammatical explanations go, you are among the best in youtube . It is so much easier to understand you . Having a pleasant personality helps a lot. Thank you.
Me too. I know how to use it regarding other verb tenses but when it comes to the él,ella,usted/s forms I sometimes don’t know whether to use the indirect or the direct
I can relate.this is my second year wrestling with this subject but I continued to practice daily and watch many videos and I'm finally starting to it understanding it so never let up.im gonna watch this video for the next two years daily until it make sense 💯
I hate the whole Spanish subject, not as a language but as a subject. Idk why i took Spanish 😭. I just can't seem to wrap my head around this particular language
Dr is it okay to also say Jose escribe me una carta instead of Jose me escribe una carta? Can the sentence structure be changed in that manner and still be right?
I've been direct and indirect object pronouns in German too, so it's a little easier for me to understand them. But something I didn't realize is how you put the pronoun in front of the verb instead of after. Definitely different compared to both English and German. Thanks Dr. Evans!
Does the verb escribe not change when there is a me,te,le,les,or nos in front of it because it is conjugated for Josès position as a 3rd person? Like o es e imos en
That's a good question! The verb will always stay escribe in these sentences because you have to conjugate the verb for Jose. In each of the examples, Jose is still doing the verb. The part that changes is who he's writing it to. That's why the me, te, le, etc... changes. Does that make sense?
Your videos are super clear, thanks. I have a question about calling him in Spanish. Yo lo llamo - I have seen “lo” used here rather than “le”, could you explain because it feels like it should be an indirect object pronoun (who is he calling?) Thanks
Fantastic lesson. I had been struggling with the direct and indirect object pronouns and this lesson and the previous one has cleared it up. Muchas Gracias!
I don’t know if you get into it in other lessons, but I’m wondering the difference between “le” and “se” and when to use either? does it matter? Example / “hacer le la cama” vs “voy a hacer se lo” ….they can both mean “him” or “her” correct? and if so, why does it change?
i was following you in que hora es , but i didn't see new videos in this channel anymore and i was looking for you again , because you helped me a lot and finally i found you here again , thanks for your great videos greetings from Egypt :)
