Picked one up. I tried it on Piraat Tripel. One thing for sure, the beer is creamier, smoother and takes the bite out of the beer. If anyone like De Garre Tripel Draught from Bruges, buy Piraat Tripel and pour it using this machine, magic.
I bought one, it does make a difference. I usually use my PD, but as that is quite expensive, I thought I'd get a few cans in (much cheaper to buy). Yeah, it does ok, and for £25 with a 3 year guarantee - can't go wrong really! It definitely takes that "edge" of a canned beer. Only downside is the really slow pour.
Good honest review. I picked one up the other day to try. Thought for £25 and a 3yr guarantee why not as Aldi are pretty decent at returning things. Pretty similar to others reviews, it probably is a bit gimicy, but...... I do think it creates a better head than you could achieve when pouring and it also lasts longer. Definitely knocks a bit of the carbonation out too. I just have a beer fridge and use cans and bottles in my bar so as a bit of something different I think its worth a try. Doesn't mean every can of beer I will be running to the machine for one, but it's a good option to have and considering it's made from plastic it sits well and looks ok on the eye in the bar.
It's OK as a novelty IMHO, but honestly not sure its worth it, it does work however. It'll come out when mates are round, but I'll quickly get fed up it.🍺
The Fizzics is well overpriced. I think with this Aldi one you will need a box of batteries at the ready. Top review mate and I love a gimmick/novelty product so at that price I may well give it a go. Cheers Baz.
You ought to try syphoning, (which is all this does, only electrically powered.) 1) Place your can on a table, keeping it ALWAYS higher than your glass. 2) Insert one end of a plastic tube into the can so that the inserted end reaches the bottom of the can. 3) Suck on the other end of the tube until the beer starts to flow through the tube. (Not a good idea if you're pouring for a guest!) 🤨 4) Once the beer is flowing through the tube, put the end you've been sucking, into (or above,) the glass, (but still lower than the height of the bottom of the can. 5) The beer will flow. You can determine the head depth by tilting the glass. 6) Take the twenty-five quid you've saved and use it to buy more beer! 😃 7) Take pleasure from knowing that since this is based on physics, (and not on gadgets,) that you have a LIFETIME warranty, not just a three year one, and that you'll NEVER have to replace the batteries!
I have a white & gold coloured fizzics and you are meant to pull the handle back once and at the end of the pour (the main pour pulling the handle forward)
Hello mate! I've just seen your video aldi draftpour. Great video man! You have a new sub now. I would like to buy it, but here in spain is not available. Could you help me? Or maybe selling yours. I'll pay in advance don't warry. Thank you!
Hiya and cheers much appreciated. I'll be keeping mine to do a few more videos I'm afraid..when I get time I can look locally if there any left but I wouldn't hold your breath. Especially with fathers day pretty much here. But I'll look for ya 👍
Hilarious. It takes all the life out of the beer and gives it a fake head. All the energy of the beer has been lost. If u like flat creamy beer good luck to you.
Since when was "creamy" something you wanted from a lager beer?!?! Lol. If u had a proper clean glass that kept the head on the canned one it wins all day long. What a gimmick
There is actually some science behind this. It breaks the carbonation down making it a smoother drink with a long lasting head. It gives better mouth feel. I've done a taste test with a few people and they say it definitely changes the drink.

Totally agree mate and thanks very much. Enjoy messing about with it
Found it does hold a head all way down glass and gives a smoother taste so does it job prob not worth £25 but canny kit
Cheers Baz. Beer visually does look better from the machine. Im too lazy to use. 😂

Using a syringe is the same principle really..reducing carbonation...its a talking point I suppose...cheers Bazza🍺

Mine will end up on shelf and not get used Baz 🍺
You need nucleated glasses . Doesn’t look like you have with either type ?

Mate how many beer dispensers do you need baz 😂 £25!?.. Pd keg that!
😂😂😂😂 FFS! If it's as bad as their range of shitty socket sets and power tools 😂😂😂 will watch in full later mate
Bad workman always blames his tools 🤣🤣

I reckon a Budweiser Budvar in the matching Budvar glass would be good with this
Nah, better buy more beer with them £24.. pointless.

It's a toy. You can't change canned beer into "delicious draught beer". Complete waste of money.
