Hey everybody today on Marc & Austen we are making fun of every hallmark movie ever. They make about 300 Hallmark Christmas movies every year, we made one in 10 minutes. This Hallmark parody is featuring Julie Nolke as Holly the smalltown girl, Charlotte Dobre the big city girlfriend, Austen Alexander as the big city developer who must go back to his hometown and Marc-Anthony Sinagoga as the spirit of Christmas, Mayor Kringle. The way they reflect the terrible acting found in Hallmark Christmas movies is actually genius.
And the cheesy scripts. It's where cheap "actors" go to because they're just so desperate to get a breakthrough. My opinion anyways.
OMG the acting was so terrible it was so good. The James Corden line killed me.
@@faithbradley4224 And has been ones as well. If they had a supporting role in a Hollywood film they could have a leading role in a Hallmark or Lifetime channel made for TV movie. But all the plots are based on Hollywood movies such as The Hand that Rocks the Cradle and Home Alone spun over and over again.

I already knew Julie was great, but I had no idea Charlotte Dobre also acted. She really killed it in the stock role of "Protagonist's shallow, obnoxious partner deliberately not given redeeming qualities, so you don't have to feel any sympathy for her at the end."
She is also in their other "Bridezilla" sketch. I actually like that one even more ;)
The weird hand stuff with the coffee cup was the funniest bit then Julie saying it's handcrafted really got me.
.... I cant with the coffee scene, the awkward staring, grabbing, and just... ahhhhh It hits all sorts of wrong

I absolutely love this - there have been several ‘mini trailers’ but I love how this condensed the whole experience into 15 minutes! And yes, like many commenters my wife and I watch tons of cheesy hallmark movies … but it is that total comfort food experience.
