You’ve read some of my favourite thrillers, love your selection. I completely agree about your Ruth Ware, Peter Swanson ranking it’s always a hit or miss with these two. But you definitely need to read The Death of Mrs. West away by Ruth ware it’s one of my favourites by her I might like it more than the turn of they key it’s very atmospheric and just love the vibes in that book.
I will never get tired of these tier ranking videos! I don't read as many thrillers as I would like. I loved The Guest List as well. I get why people don't let it, but I absolutely flew through it and the setting was perfect!
Can u believe every book on this list that I’ve read has been because you recommended it. Gonna read more books from your God Tier. I believe u and I have similar reading tastes! 💖
You are my favourite youtuber Gabby! I watch every single video! I love John Marrs too, I recommend you try The good samaritan , it has no sci-fi elements, it's an awesome thriller about a woman who works on a suicide line but instead of saving lives , she convinces people to commit suicide. Its a great fun to read, his premises are so cool and unique
i would love to see you ranking all your favourite romance authors and as someone who got into thriller watching your videos..i'm shocked to have not read certain thrillers from god tier..adding those to my tbr asap
You are killing it with your book recommendations. The Scythe, The Confession, Razorblade Tears, and I just finished In My Dreams I Hold a Knife, all amazing! I just started Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter. Another one you recommended I have no doubt will be great! LOVE your channel!
You just helped me decide what to read next…Rock Paper Scissors. If you haven’t read it yet, Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter…Amazing! So good that I’m reading another one of Gabby’s recommendations from the same author, The Good Daughter. Happy reading.😊
This was so much fun to watch. I enjoy watching these ranking videos because it’s always so interesting to compare your opinions to others and how they might be different. So much fun!
This is why Gabby is my favourite. I totally agree with the wife between us being so frustrating. Also I don't understand the hate for The Maidens. I loved it.
wow, what a fun video, would love to hear about older books you've read that kinda go together example all final girls books, all isolated mystries etc always love a video with so many recomendations!
Your book club has not failed. More interesting talks about a book that sucked than one that everyone loved where there's nothing much to say. Also fun when one person hated it & the other loved it. Bcuz the audience is mixed sometimes. Both sides gets a voice! Great video Gabby!
for me, I really liked The Maidens until the big reveal at the end. it just felt really cheap and unoriginal and I just honestly hated it. there were many possible suspects, and I wish someone else had been the killer than who it actually turned out to be :( but The Silent Patient is god tier and I'm definitely gonna read his next book, whenever that may come. I also really enjoyed For Your Own Good so I want to read Samantha Downing's other books too
Taylor Adams has a book that i think you really might like, called EyeShot it's about a Sniper that likes to practice on actual people. it's very similar to No Exit, except it's in the desert
Just found your videos and now I get to binge watch them all! Love your content! you also have such a good energy which makes it so much better to watch.
Watching this ranking video.. Makes me do some moooorree list of TO READ.. I also loved The Maidens and The Silent Patient.. These books are in my favorite reads this year.
I loved your tier ranking video. Of the books on your list that I've read, I agree with almost all of your rankings. For me, Then She Was Gone is more of a story about the effects of the disappearance of a loved one rather than an actual mystery about finding someone who's missing, but I did think it was very well written. Some of those books are on my shelf waiting to be read, so it gave me an idea of what to prioritize. BTW - I have a third Taylor Adams book on my shelf called Eyeshot.
i absolutely loved this video. i need to see more of these. lol. im reading gone girl for the first time and i have high hopes. also i love that there are so many books i havent heard of and are now on my tbr. ❤️❤️
We agree on so many books, but I do love all of Ruth Ware. My favorite being in a dark dark wood. I loved the setting in the glass house and her stranger group of friends. So tonight I start Lock Ever Door! 😵
I'm at the Lisa Jewell part of the video and you've convinced me to give her another go. I recently read The Family Upstairs - it's the only book of hers I've read - and I thought it was surprisingly poor; I'd rank it exactly where you rank it. But it's good to know that you don't think it's representative of her work, and I'm more open minded now to trying something else by her.
Oh my god!! Our opinions match so much! I have read a lot of these books myself and I was nodding and appreciating to all of your opinions! Even the unpopular ones! So, definitely taking all my recommendations from you, now onwards 😍
Dear Gabby. I know you love movies. You might like ‘The hand that rocks the cradle” I think it was released in 1992. It’s an older film but I thought it was brilliant x
I really want to recommend you Ruth Ware's The Death of Mrs Westaway. Although you can easily guess the twist, it is very beautifully written and it has the spooky and sad vibe throughout the book :)
Have you done a tier ranking video with the horror books you've read? I feel like a video like that would help me decide which ones to read lol I really enjoyed this video :)
I just found out about Alice Feeney and got all of her books. I agree with where you placed each one. I would put His & Hers as god tier though. Definitely added it to my fav books of all time
I completely agree with you re the You series, definitely gone downhill but I’m so obsessed with Joe regardless! I still have high hopes that she will nail the fourth book!! Just finished 56 Days. I don’t get the hype with Catherine Ryan Howard. I hated Rewind too. Interested in The Nothing Man but I’m starting to think she just isn’t an author to me. I’m SO excited for The Night She Disappeared. It’s been highly recommended to me.
TAYLOR ADAMS has an earlier book called EYESHOT.. and it's set in a desert where a sniper is hunting down people on that road... NO EXIT vibes but much hotter setting.. Really intense too!
Yaaaay I’m so excited for this Month. I haven’t read a southerns book club guide to slaying vampires yet but I’m saving it for camp weekend ween but just want to pick it up now. Like it’s staring at me. Watching me. Especially since I just finished my best friends exorcism. What should I do?👻😈
100% agree that thrillers are better on paper than on audio! But also 100% agree that His and Hers by Alice Feeney is a fantastic audiobook! The Maidens was freaking bomb everyone else is wrong lol
Greetings from Dublin! Thanks for this great video. I have never read any,Alice feeney, books so will be definitely checking,”rock, paper, scissors”,out. You really got me into ms Ryan Howard,mr Swanson;ms jewel,ms downing and ms lapena, thanks. On your recommendation also read,”playing nice”,and loved it,l have read two other books by this author and enjoyed them too. Maybe you could read more of his backlist and see what you think. I really appreciate your time and patience in reading and giving your honest opinions on the various books you read! Have you ever read any Jane Harper books..
So many are also my favourite authors. You must definitely try Belinda Bauer... love all her books but "The Facts of Life and Death" is my favourite. Very atmospheric. Also you would enjoy Fiona Cummins. I also personally loved "Distress Signals" by Catherine Ryan Howard. That was my favourite of hers so far.
I really like your thriller book recommendations! Just want to know what kind of book would be first in your god tiers. I'm currently looking for a good thriller book to read.I was told that Karen mc manus's books were real good.Id love for you to actually rate them though.
I have turn the key and I am going to start it Monday as a buddy read with a friend, my first adult thriller. Can you tell me which ones to pick up next please??
Yeah sorry Gabby but I did not like The Maidens. It was even a DNF for me. I just did not like the main character. But I agree with you on the two John Marrs books I've read (The One & The Passengers). I still need to read his other ones but he's a favorite author for sure. So glad you made this video!
Have you read We Were Liars? I have a very unpopular opinion on it but I'd be super curious to hear your opinion on it. Also, great video! I'm about to read The Silent Patient and I'm super excited to get it now that I've heard you thoughts!
I was trying to link it but I can’t access my account in tiermaker that I created this on for some reason😭 it’s giving me issues and I’m not sure how to access it I’m sorry!

I would love a tier ranking for Horror books you've read! I'm ready to start reading Horror and not sure where to begin.
I will never get tired of these tier ranking videos! I don't read as many thrillers as I would like. I loved The Guest List as well. I get why people don't let it, but I absolutely flew through it and the setting was perfect!
We are so surprised you haven't finished out Gillian Flynn with Dark Places! Highly recommend!

It’s on my list!! 😍

Another reason why I just LOVE your channel, the queen of thrillers! Helped me to prioritize which to read first!
I love your tier ranking videos!! please dont stop filming them :)
I agree!! Last 2 books I read are both 5 stars!!! In My Dream I Hold A Knife and Rock Paper Scissors!
Yes, please keep doing tier ranking videos! These are my faves!!

I just finished The Maidens too. I totally agree on what you said. The end was a reach for sure.
@@floogelhornzzz4770 haha it just means the best of the best
Taylor Adams has a book that i think you really might like, called EyeShot
it's about a Sniper that likes to practice on actual people.
it's very similar to No Exit, except it's in the desert
It's as fast paced as no exit!
Just found your videos and now I get to binge watch them all! Love your content! you also have such a good energy which makes it so much better to watch.
Just added so many books to my tbr !
The perfect video for the beginning of October 😍 I love watching your tier ranking videos, I don’t care if it’s not “in style” anymore lol!
So many books now added to my TBR. Thank you!!!
Always enjoy a good ranking video! Definitely bookmarked a couple books to check out later (I Found You, Rock Paper Scissor)
Just love your tier ranking videos!!
Really gotten into thrillers lately thanks to your channel!
Watching this ranking video.. Makes me do some moooorree list of TO READ.. I also loved The Maidens and The Silent Patient.. These books are in my favorite reads this year.
Someone needs to rate The Echo Man because that book deserves all the love. It had such good twists and a romance subplot that was done so well.
I loved your tier ranking video. Of the books on your list that I've read, I agree with almost all of your rankings. For me, Then She Was Gone is more of a story about the effects of the disappearance of a loved one rather than an actual mystery about finding someone who's missing, but I did think it was very well written. Tier ranking thrillers, my favorite thing!
You had all my favorites on top tier. Great review!
Gah I’ve read 80% of the books you talked about and I totally agreed with you the ENTIRE time. 🤍🤍🤍
I liked the maidens 🤣 I LOVED the guest list.
I can't get enough thriller content. So excited about this video.
We agree on so many books, but I do love all of Ruth Ware. My favorite being in a dark dark wood. I loved the setting in the glass house and her stranger group of friends. So tonight I start Lock Ever Door! 😵
Loved this 😁 I’m reading Pretty girls at the moment and omg it’s so good! So dark though, it’s making me have weird dreams 🤣
I think it’s her weakest book for sure! I think it’s worth giving her other books a try! 🤗
Oh my god!! Our opinions match so much! I have read a lot of these books myself and I was nodding and appreciating to all of your opinions! Even the unpopular ones!
So, definitely taking all my recommendations from you, now onwards 😍
Love these vids. Anything I haven't already read from the top two columns is basically my TBR sorted for the rest of the year! Cheers Gabby👌👍📖
i love tier ranking videos!
Dear Gabby. I know you love movies. You might like ‘The hand that rocks the cradle” I think it was released in 1992. It’s an older film but I thought it was brilliant x

I really enjoyed this video :)
wait nvm i found one that you did last year 😅
I actually really enjoyed The Maiden's. The Silent Patient so far is my favorite though. He is definitely an automatic buy author for me.
Turn of the key and Death of Mrs Westaway are my Ruth Ware favs. It was spooky to me.
Highly recommend Marrow by Tarryn Fisher.
I enjoy your videos so much! I get disappointed on days you don't post a new one! 😆 you should read False Witness for the book troup.
We’re reading it in November for the book troop!
@@gabbyreads yay glad to hear it!
Really excited to watch this!!! :)
I agree so much with literally all of this! Definitely glad someone else can trash one book and adore another by the same author.
I just found your channel and we have such similar book taste! Subscribed!
I just found out about Alice Feeney and got all of her books. I agree with where you placed each one. I would put His & Hers as god tier though. Definitely added it to my fav books of all time
This is exactly the video I need right now 🔥👏🏼
The Silent Patient refueled my love for the thriller genre. Wish I could say the same for The Maidens.
hey gabby!! can u do an updated bookshelf tour?
I’m going to get
”What lies between us”
“Pretty girls”
“Rock paper scissors”
I feel like, I will enjoy those three :D
I completely agree with you re the You series, definitely gone downhill but I’m so obsessed with Joe regardless! I still have high hopes that she will nail the fourth book!! Just finished 56 Days. i feel like the only person who HATED the kind worth killing 😭😭 could potentially be on my worst books i’ve ever read list
I only need to read I Found You, An Unwanted Guest and Bad Mommy from your top list!
YES YES YES. i hated the wife between us and loved anonymous girl 😭 i feel like no one ever agrees with me on that!!
I picked up quite a few God Tier. Totally agree about No Exit and Bad Mommy. You should try Wendy Heard... The Kill Club
I love the background
Bad Mommy appears to now be called I Can Be a Better You
I love you gabby!!
Wow I loved this!!
I LOVED Providence! 5 star read for me. 😄
LOVE your Salem's Lot t-shirt!
I LOVED Hairpin Bridge by Taylor Adams. I was honestly really surprised by your feelings about it.

I really like your thriller book recommendations! Just want to know what kind of book would be first in your god tiers. I'm currently looking for a good thriller book to read.I was told that Karen mc manus's books were real good.Id love for you to actually rate them though.
Great ranking format and thoughts Gabby, nothing wrong with being picky. Too many books, too little time. . .
Ok so I have read 30 of these and own another 25! I have work to do!
Cool, now take that whole top tier and rank them!
Brb, gonna buy all the thrillers in the god tier
I thought sharp objects was better than dark places to be honest. And a book from Ruth Ware that’s in my tbr is The Lying Game!
Love your shirt! 😘
I have turn the key and I am going to start it Monday as a buddy read with a friend, my first adult thriller. Can you tell me which ones to pick up next please??

I can’t remember but have you read Verity?? It’s very hyped and people seem to absolutely love it or hate it. Would love your opinion
Yes! I really enjoyed Verity 🤗
i read the kind worth killing by peter swanson and determined that i do not like his writing. maybe i should give him another try
Hey gabby I was wanting to know if you could maybe do a re-read reading vlog for IT because I would love to see your mentally exhausted thoughts.
Have you ever read Megan Miranda's books? I love all her books! You have a lot of great ones on your list. That was fun!! Thrillers are my favorite!
Can u recommend any good ones by megan miranda??
have already read atlest 80% of these books :)
AWESOME t-shirt!!
Gabby, why haven’t you read The Death of Mrs Westaway by Ruth Ware yet?! It’s another really good one - my favourite of hers! Please read it!

that Salem’s Lot shirt 🔥
You might like Eyeshot by Taylor Adams. It’s intense like No Exit 😊
Have you read We Were Liars? I have a very unpopular opinion on it but I'd be super curious to hear your opinion on it. Also, great video! I'm about to read The Silent Patient and I'm super excited to get it now that I've heard you thoughts!
I read it so long ago! I wasn’t a huge fan of it 😬
Is your tiermaker public? I'd love to rank these books :D
I was trying to link it but I can’t access my account in tiermaker that I created this on for some reason😭 it’s giving me issues and I’m not sure how to access it I’m sorry!
Sun Down Motel is 5 stars amazing to me!! ;)
You should read All Is Not Forgotten by Wendy Walker. Definitely a dark read with a 5 star reveal.
have you tried Liane Moriarty? Big Little Lies was good.
