Washing jars from yesterday's canning project is exactly how I started my morning! Did that before I ran and got a shower and sat down to work at 6:30am. I am always so excited to check seals, clean and label them. Then I let them sit on the dining room table for a while so I can walk by and admire them! :)

I do the same the day after canning. I get up and go right to the kitchen to make sure my jars have stayed sealed, then I wash them with soap and water, label them, and store them. I love the entire canning process.

At Christmas my daughter and her husband bought me an ice maker,I've wanted one forever, but like you just waited. We celebrated it early, and one month later she sat down in her chair and passed away.Im devastated, I still can't process it ,so when someone gives you a gift accept with a smile. For my birthday ,it was an air fryer.I will always cherish them.

You know about that styrofoam if you break it up and crumbles and you mix it with your dirt when you do your pots it should help somehow some way I saw it on RUclips you could also use it if you want to put it in your dog house as insulation in between the wood and then you put put plastic and then the wood lol or your chicken coop you can line it with that you put your word you put your styrofoam of course your plastic on both sides of your styrofoam and then you would.. those are things I just thought of but I'm sure if you look on Google there's a whole mess of things you can use styrofoam for.. that's if you can't get rid of it... 😃

Your pie looks delicious 😃❤️ I have a funny story to tell that cover you put on your pie is that the one with the elastic on? Well many moons ago me and my best friend worked at the school at the cafeteria and when those first came out they were given to the school cafeteria !!! And what did my friend do she used it for her head she thought it was like some new hairnet because no one told us what they were really for at the time..!! CC all these heads with different colors I'm so glad I went there that day working 😵😮😁😃 so when I went to visit that day I made the comments I don't think they're for your head!!! Got to cover things with because there are different sizes different colors big ones medium ones little ones.. so we all had a big laugh 🤣 cuz those ladies had them on all day long.. 😄😂

I know there is a faction that says to not wash the chicken, and I understand the reasoning....but I can't stop. I still do it every time. I just make sure to sanitize my sink with disinfectant. Just like I wash my hands with hot soapy water after touching poultry. Old habits are hard to break!

A couple of goofy thoughts! I know you sprayed your pan for the biscuits but you could spray your ice cream scoop too. I use one for some of my cookies and will often spray it.
