I've been looking for you yesterday and today and seen you posted ,thank God .I start my morning coffee ☕ with you every day ..I absolutely love your videos,I watch your old videos when you take a little break and pray everything is ok with you ..
I do the same, ☕ coffee and Renae. Prayers for her and Mr. Wayna.
Wonderful recipe 😊Renee. 😊 Would a bit of white wine be good I this recipe?
Hi Renee, I bet your Valentine’s was perfect. You work so hard and do so much, I am glad you took a break and bought convenience. They are little for such a short time. You are so awesome and I enjoy my visits here so much. Your family and neighbors are blessed to have you.
I have arthritis in my thumbs too. I agree with you. We need our thumbs and the struggle is real. Especially trying to open things, even ziplocks can be challenging. Thank you for your videos ❤
Julieann 😊
Good morning neighbor……hope you are well. Had a streak of 60* to 70* weather then came the rain storm yesterday and knocked out our internet almost the whole day…WHATTTT 😼no coffee with you, no listening to cooking videos…..at least I had the Cooking channel on tv. I was canning chicken soup and cooked sausage in quarts and it’s nice to listen while I work.
That meatloaf recipe was sooo good, I couldn’t stop taking a meatball here and there….I made into meatballs then made meatball sub in Italian bread for dinner and sandwiches for hubbies lunch…..definitely will make more for the freezer.
I didn’t have the mix to put in mine but used Italian bread crumbs. The moistest meatloaf ever…..I made jalapeño ketchup for his.
Getting my two grand kiddos for the weekend..my 12 yr old grandson helps hubby with chores and my 10 yr old granddaughter helps me in my art studio and greenhouse….both are great helpers and such a blessing since both of us are just getting over the C……
One is gluten sensitive so I have to bake a gluten free bread for him…it’s $6.50 for a small loaf….Mac and cheese is $3.79 for small box….I’m making protein bars instead of cookies…simple and fast.
My daughter said she spent $750 at ALDIs and another $100 at Meijer’s last week…..her husband and her both work two jobs to keep four kiddos fed….can’t imagine how even larger families do it.
They don’t make a lot of pasta dishes because of my grandsons gluten intolerance and my daughters achy joints…

When I’ve watched most of your new videos, I go back and binge watch your older ones. I watched one where the Mr. was shy about being on camera, but look at him now! LOL I like watching you both, ‘cause you are so sweet to each other. Thanks again Renea! Ohh- you have to take time off or else your body will start getting sick. Take care of yourself- 😊
I think it's awesome you didn't do a video cause it was your special time with your little grandkids and they got all your attention there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that everything was beautiful especially the boards you made ..that's so so awesome ...
Love watching your videos. Like having a friend and chit chat together. Thank you
If you haven't already made the video I'd love to see a corn dog muffin recipe.
I do make these but I can imagine your cornbread recipe is amazing!
The easiest thing to do to open bottles that are sealed if you take your kitchen scissors and if they’ve got like a metal clip from the middle of them where the handles are, if you take that and put that there and then twist it and opens up your bottle for you.
Lol…gotta do towel thing…its a restaurant thing I learned years back ✌️❤️
I have an "arthritis" in my thumbs too. Started, many years ago in my last profession. It does complicated things!
So glad to see this. I was concerned you were sick.
No I was just whipped from the party with my grands.
Hi Rene from Northern Ireland! I absolutely love your videos, infact I'm addicted haha. You are such a great caring mum, wife and grandmother! Your recipes are absolutely brilliant! Can't wait to see your next one! Wishing you a great Friday and weekend. Love Trisha ❤ xx
Your such a good Nana...I am the same...just love my grandkids...when they are here I am the happiest....going to try your lemon chicken..Thanks for all you do
I love the way that you explain things! You make it look so easy to replicate!
Beautiful! Chicken breasts were on sale at my store for $1.89 lb this week. Jackpot! Every one of those meals are fabulous. Thank you 🙏🏼 😊
I feel your pain, I have had arthritis in both my thumbs since I was 32, for over 9 years now. Can’t paint anymore or henna art. I used to love it 🙁 😊
Congratulations..on hitting 50k !!!!!! You so deserve
You are such a great Mom and Nana. Thanks for such a fun chat/quick meals.
Hello Renee ,,,Oh remember celebrating, holidays with my grandchildren when they were little,,it was wonderful,,now thier grown up,,,and living their lives as its suppose to be...But I have such fabulous memories...Renee you are a loving wife mom and grandmom. I enjoy your channel.
My grandkids are my Valentines too. I’ve found making pbj in shapes with cookie cutters are always the first things to go at a potluck. Your Valentine’s party sounds great. I love simple and forgiving recipes
I would love to be your neighbor lol!!
I find myself reaching to pass the pepper or tongs or whatever I feel I’m there with her.
Hi nae nae. I would love to see you make your canned salsa recipe I have made your French dressing recipe it is the best homemade version I’ve had. Keep it up. You seem like a warm woman. Thanks for your videos. Tina
I’m a new subscriber and I’m really enjoying your channel! ❤️👍🏻
Welcome to my channel. Thank you
Like canned 🍅 and salsa 😋
I love sauerkraut! I make a Reuben Loaf that is awesome! My brother-in-law had never cared for it before but loved the Reuben Loaf. I knew he was serious when I saw him eating the leftovers for breakfast at 5 am the next day! Even I wouldn't eat it then!
I have arthritis in my thumbs too. It knocked my embroidery out all too soon. It makes kneading bread painful but I won't give that up totally yet.
Thank you the tutorial on the cast iron, I’ve bee told so many different was of cleaning. I like yours best.
Thank you for your help.
Danita
I am excited to try these recipes. Everything looks so good! You cook food the way my grandmothers and my mom did. They're all gone now, and often your recipes are the closest I can get to the way the way they did it. I love that you give good hints along the way, and it always feels like something I can do. I just can't tell you enough what that means to me. As a cancer patient, some days nothing sounds or tastes good, but comfort food like yours always works. And on the days I don't feel well enough to cook, your freezer meals mean I can still have really good food that's more manageable for me for that day. I can't wait to see what's next! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I love your aprons. Can you tell me if there is a pattern? I only recently found your channel and am loving it. You have a lot of energy.
I use a piece of a rubber mat to open jars with. I have carpel tunnel and have trouble with then too. I wish my youngest would eat beans but its a no go with him. He finally started eating green beans and peas if they are in something like shepherds pie.
I’ve been putting up freezer meals like crazy, thanks to your inspiration!! Thank you so much. I haven’t been a subscriber for long but I certainly enjoy your videos. I’m down in Texas but love Michigan peeps. My whole family on mom’s side are
From Michigan (Royal Oak mostly) so I spent some amazing summers there during my childhood. My sister married a young man from St Clair Shores, MI 45 years ago and they are
Still happily married. Anyhoo, I’m obviously fond of my northern relatives. Bless you and thanks again!!❤
Saving video for recipes
Excellent!!!! ♥️♥️

About to load up my car w/ 2 cats and drive solo to new home in a state I've NEVER been in. (Talk about crazy right?) I'll be listening/watching your old videos once I'm in my home "camping out" til the movers come with my furniture.
Congratulations on a new home and please be safe traveling.
I now double bag for the freezer meals that are liquid! You actually reuse the outside bag. I have had leakage at different times. Also I do not use the off band bags. That’s just me because I have had to many bad experiences and loss of freezer burn also.
Received my Cookbook yesterday. Still looking through it.
I have been trying to use up what I have in freezer and then I am going to be making some of these meals. I will be dividing them into quart bags as it is just me.
So enjoy watching your video's old & new.
I really enjoy watching you !!!!!!!!
Renee you are like me you love them grand babies I wish you would show us what you made I just love watching you are the best
I will post the picture my daughter took of my valentine spread in my community tab.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing
These are wonderful recipes!!!
Your recipes are fantastic!
Now those meals look AMAZING!!
In that 2nd chicken dish you made, I bet a T of balsamic vinegar would be good.
Oh yes!
Thank you for this video & the ingredient list! 🌷
Fabulous recipes! Thank you
Love your videos ♥️
Such a great idea to prepare the meals and freeze them. Great for easy good meals for a family. Working lots of hours and returning home and having the meals prepared is a big help. Just cook up and eat. So nice of you.
Hi Renea!!! I watched your video late last nite. I really enjoy these freezer meals. I always save your video s so I can do them. I will put them in my notebook. I shall be making these chicken ones for sure. Bet everyone s going to enjoy these. Your Valentines party sound like it was fun!!! Another wonderful video. Congrats on hitting 50 thousands...Take care. Great video my friend!!!...🦋

Thank you Renea
💜💐Awesome!💐💜
Thank you for some fantastic recipes ❤
I enjoyed this video so much. You inspire me to get more freezer meals done(you make it look easy) Have a blessed day❤
I purchased the same a size table as you. I put it together very quickly. It is a great work bench/Island table. I also ordered the meat masher, and the freezer bags which I showed my daughter, (she asked where I got them). I bought the bag holders which I shared with my daughter. Only started watching you a week and a half ago. Learned so much from you about the items you use.
It really is. I love mine.
looks so yummie thanx for sharing
I bet it would be delicious on a grill. I love watching your show.
You are an amazing cook😊
Fantastic freezer meals! You amaze me! Your family is blessed beyond measure to have you!
I’ve been wondering for weeks, what is the thing dangling from the arch of your faucet? I’ve been curious since the first time I noticed this. Lol! Enjoy you meals and have a blessed weekend. ❤️🙏
Another enjoyable video Renea! Thumbs up.
Grandma Sue in central Indiana
It looks wonderful and would be simple to defrost and bake/crockpot.
You don't have to like sour kraut to enjoy it you can rinse your kraut thoroughly
Thank You. God bless you. Love your videos!!!!!!!
I'm still sharing your videos. Just love how real you keep your videos ( I've been binging)🙂
I’m laughing with you on sale is the only way I ever buy. This week I found beautiful chicken breast from the meat counter for 1.79 a pound. About had heart failure. Only thing is there a limit. I bought mine and I decided my husband needed some also😇
Now that is the way to buy.
Congratulations 🎉
Does LVH have a FB site? I looked and couldn't find it. Maybe you could post the link in your podcasts? Love your podcasts and I'm still binge watching them. You have a LOT!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. I've made several of your recipes!!
Way to go Renae. Beautiful spread for the grandkids. Great meals you put together. My son and I did chicken strips with bottles ranch dressing .tsp., of cayenne, good pinch of red pepper flakes. Then 1 n half cups Pankeo Crumbs. tsp.,of ginger salt and pepper to taste and half cup of shaker Parmesan cheese. dip strips in the dressing dredge in the pankeo put on no stick foil. Bake 350 for22-25 min. You can flash freeze this then just thaw over night in fridge and bake the same. Soo good and just a hint of hot. leftovers little more heat but so yummy.
Those sound delicious. I will try them.
awesome been thinking of surprising my son with the kids and making a few meals for the freezer for them they work so hard and have such little time. Great video as usual. I am sending you a gift by the way hope you like it lol
Oh boy!! I am sure I will.
@@LittleVillageHomestead got it will send it out tomorrow

Love your cooking remind me of my g ma do you have to store canned food in special place ?

Enjoyed your videos just found your channel week or so ago i like to save and frezzer meals saves on money for your family. Where are you from im from southeast ky. On tn border. Much ❤️ love
I am in Michigan, Northern Lower near lake michigan.
I love your hair it looks great and your color is great also .
Thank you so much!
The lemon garlic looks delish! I do the zesty itailian one quite often but never over sourkrout! I'll give it a try or over cabbage! Just ordered me those bag holders! If they work well that will be just the thing! Thank you for this one!
I can’t wait to try the lemon garlic chicken. I bought lemons today!! I’m thinking of trying some lemon pepper in it. I wonder how that would be?
@@julieguenter3283 since you actually add lemons and lemon juice in it, it just might be overkill on it but I'd definitely just add in pepper!
@@Jomama02 thanks, will do!☺️
@@Jomama02 I made it last night and tried the lemon pepper. I also put the lemon slices on top of the chicken and baked it over rice. So good!!!!

I would love to have the pattern to your wrap-around apron. My arthritis is so bad that I can't tie them anymore. Or tell me where you get them. Love your cooking.
I get mine on Amazon I will give you the link for a closer look. amzn.to/3I8XH8U
Those marinate prepped meals are great! If I didn't work at a grocery store. And reject food myself, I'd be doing that. Whatever that means?!? USA!
Hi Renea. There are only 2 of us so thanks for showing the smaller freezer meals! Please remind me what you use to disinfect your counters/work area. You mentioned it in one of your videos and I did not quite catch what you were saying. Thank you. Have a blessed day.
I sanitize my kitchen with Steramine.
@@LittleVillageHomestead Thanks Renea!
Do you have a recipe of salsa? Also love your stainless steel table could I ask where you purchased it?
Yes I have a salsa recipe I will make lots of it to can this year. I bought my table from a friend. You can get them on Amazon. Here is the link. amzn.to/3Xyw9Q0
I absolutely love your videos! I am intrigued, I haven’t had sauerkraut in years. How would I cook the zesty Italian chicken with the sauerkraut? Line the casserole dish with the sauerkraut, put the chicken on top and bake for 45 minutes to an hour at 350*?
That is how we cook it.
I use a silicon mat . The ones you use for cookie sheets under my cutting boards. Washable in the sink and reusable or just wipe it off.
Now that is a great idea. I have 2 of them.
@@LittleVillageHomestead I saw some one else use them so I got the idea from another video.
Wait…. why haven’t I ever thought of that? Holy smokes that’s a good idea! Every time I watch a Renea video and browse through the comments I learn something, usually from both Renea and the comments. Thanks!
@@notthecheshirekat2596 🤗❤️
When you do all the requested cooking for your daughter, do you and Mr. Wayna get to keep any for yourselves?
💜
Will you please let me know what cooking method for each recipe and how long to cook😊 them? Thank you in advance! Tena😊
Crock pot. 4-6 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. Oven, 350 for 45-1hour. Instant pot 8-10 minutes. They all cook the same.
If I cook the zesty chicken with the tomatoes in the oven do I cook it uncovered? Also 9x13 pan? I’m going to make it over sauerkraut yum!
I always cover it. Yes I use a 9x13 pan. Unless you make smaller amount.
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
I've been wondering why you switched out your table? What is the purpose of the tea ball hanging on your faucet? How is the dishwasher connected, I rent. Thanks:)
BOP
I got a bigger island. I hung it there because It is easy access and when I clen it after I use it I just hang it. The dishwasher is connected to the water line under the sink and the drain hose lays in the sink when in use. It would be ok for rented place with no damage left behind.
@@LittleVillageHomestead I like the new island a lot, thinking about getting one, I will add a wire shelving unit with legs (on the shelf under it) so that I will be able to hang my cast iron and lids under there and it would add a shelf at the bottom to put my sheet pans on and under.
Cool, I thought it looks really cute and I thought maybe you had put some aromatics in it for "happy smells." lol
Thanks:) I'll look more seriously into getting one. What soap do you use for it?
BOP
Do the Amish stores up by you have bulk canning lids? I'm thinking of ordering from Lehmans, but it just popped into my head that a a "local" store in Michigan might have them.
My Amish store is not advertised but Yes she sells the big sleeves of lids and they work beautiful. Are you in Michigan? I may be able to arrange for you to get them.
We have several Amish stores near by us, I can get bulk seals & lids at a couple of them in Clare Mi
I’m making the lemon chicken but what temp to cook? Can I put it over rice then cook? This wasn’t in your cookbook 😂❤
I was wondering about the Lemon-Pepper chicken when you bake the chicken, do you pour off the lemon juice and olive oil or do you bake it with the liquids?
I personally bake it with the liquids and I love it that way.
@@LittleVillageHomestead okay, thank you.

Is your salsa recipe on your site?
no.
Do you bake it with all the ingredients and liquids in it
I do.
@@LittleVillageHomestead thank you can’t wait to try
I have a pattern for your apron
Oh my goodness, I would buy from you. I love these aprons. They only have 3 color options. Would you consider making a few to sell to me?

How are your chickens doing?
They are doing so good now and laying eggs daily.
Why is my Amish brand coming out crumbly???
Too much flour and not enough water.
Will you Amish lady ship Shices. You were going to ask her.
She was not there when I went to see her about it but come this week I will be there again.
