This card definitely still has some gas left in the tank, but does the 6GB VRAM buffer? Well, yes and no- but either way this card seems to be living it's best life!

    I tried playing robocop on my 2060. It could handle medium-high settings well but with dlss balanced. It was a good card at launch now its a medium settings card.

    On my main rig i have a 4090 paired with 5800x3D but for my bedroom i bought a 2060 on ebay (130€) and for 1080p/60fps it’s still a pretty good card which can deliver a great gaming experience if you can use sliders.

    My main rig is for sim racing and has a Ryzen 58000X3D paired with an RTX 3080.
    I recently refreshed my old general gaming and office PC and decided to pair a Ryzen 3600 I had sat on the shelf with an RTX 2060 I picked up on FB Marketplace for £90. It's working very well for me and the fact I'm running 1080p screens on my second rig means the 2060 will be fine for my needs for a few more years yet.

    im on a laptop
    with this card and i7 and 16 gigs of ram. apart from the ram (i upgraded from 8gig to 16 gig myself) it was a pre built (around £700 iirc). i got it in 2020 and i think this video is a bit harsh, i have very low standards for computers as i never had a good one growing up (im talking 45 fps lowest settings 720p on CS Source). And now to have a laptop that can run GTA5 at a solid 60fps 1080p at max settings, its like a dream.
    What this video misses is that most people just dont have the money to drop on a 500£ if not more on an "out of date in a couple of years" GPU...
    For me the RTX 2060 is what you aspect for the price a good card (better than anything i have used before) that isn't too expensive

    I had an RTX 2060 and a 2600X. Good combo. But, I dumped a wad on the rig and got a 5800X3D and 7900 XT to replace them. Wanted better frame rates in the 1% lows. Stutters make me feel gross.

      @not_da_goat ironic, the 2060 was a decent card but the one i got had the gnarliest coil whine ever so i sold it and found a rx 5700xt for 125$, things solid asf and is a beast

    I always wondered why these benchmarking videos never show the games that I play. It's always various FPS games and some other popular AAA titles like Assassin's Creed [insert latest game in the series here], but not other popular-but-resource-heavy games like Palworld, Talos Principle II, or Cities Skylines II.

    I agree with your unusual feeling about BF2042 at 1440p… I have a 3060, not a 2060, but BF2042 just feels off somehow at 1440p. Can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it’s frame dips, idk

    • @FloorJuice
      @FloorJuice 6 месяцев назад

      60's are that like the semi budget card that's why you feel that. they can do it just not the best since it's best for 1080p gaming.

    Pls help. I need a gpu but I am on a low budget. Should I buy a used 2060 6gb for 180€ or rx 6000 por 200€. I know can find used cheaper than that, but here in Portugal there is a store that gives 5years warranty on used products, so less risk when buy used

    rtx 3060 performs 2222.03 points in blender and rtx 2060 is 1616.31 points. Which makes 3060, 31.56%.faster in blender on average . But the cheapest 3060 i found is 150 euros as of June 2024 and the cheapest 2060 i have just bought was 90 euros. So basically, more or less you get what you pay for and it is a matter of budget. Of course the more you pay better until 4090. But 12 gigs of memory is good for work though. 3060 = 2070. And Radeon cards are only options for people who don't intent to use creativity software at all, unless it is simple text editors like adobe InDesign, vector images and so.

      The fans will spin when you are doing some heavy work like benchmarking gaming, editing or rendering. The fans will not spin when you are using the computer for normal uses like you are watching youtube and some more light works.

    The Finals - 1440p high dlss quality.
    Star Wars jedi Survivor 1440p normal dlss performance 50-55 fps, And only 40% power GPU.
    Dead space remake 1440p 60-70 fps ultra.
    Re 4 remake 60-70 fps, normal settings.
    I think need powerfull CPU. Ivy bridge is slow. 😢

    My ass warzone aint playable at 18 fps. Fun fact I played it with a I5-2500K, GTX 1060 3GB OC, DDR3 ram 12GB at 1333MHZ, Got a max of 20 frames, an average of 8, and a 1 percent low of 5. And each new event happened 5 seconds later. HEAR ME OUT I actually got kills and carried my teams ass somehow, but it is playable. ANOTHER COOL FACT JUST USE DIRECTX11 OR 10 FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE TRUST.

    • @projust2be670
      @projust2be670 6 месяцев назад +2

      Direct x12 is much more performance heavy and can half your fps quite easily
