Jordan Peterson has done so much for my mental health as a man 🙏🏽💜 My best time in life was actually in High school when I had no worries at that time, but after that life hit me pretty hard. I'm actually coming up with a resource that helped me become the man I am today. I used to live in Miami being around street violence, guns, death, and I even used to eat $3 a day, 25 cents noodles, expired toast and canned campbell tomato soup. I survived the Boston Marathon Bombing which was a few feet away and I saw all the blood the people screaming and I was alone at 18. I also used to live in a room with no kitchen, trash bag as a window and bugs crawling on me at night. I also took boxing to protect myself and learned how to defend against bigger threats. Now I live in a cabin in the north of Sweden where I go down to a lake to breathe and heal my past and I post on RUclips to help others who need it the most.

We all have the same opportunities (in America) and some have more due to their situation ( Medicare, welfare, food stamps) that many choose not to rise above. One thing NO ONE talks about is.
    Women work.
A man losing 50% of his belongings once divorced. Was a rule made when women 100% stayed at home. This rule is now obsolete and put men in a situation where there are some incentives ve in getting married, but major risks. I think this policy needs to be revisited.

My X didn't work, and I encouraged it because I was trying to take care of her and my kids. Unfortunately, I didn't know who she was or what was happening at home when I was out supporting the family.
Narcissistic Abuse became evident, and in the divorce she claims that I wouldn't "let" her work. She lied about the value of community property (all the stuff she didn't want) and got way more than 50%. It was the price of my freedom. I'm happily remarried and healing and prospering and knowing she knows that is worth the price. Getting a fair 50% wasn't worth fighting with a crazy woman.

Why should women be financially hurt due to children whereas men walk away with every penny? 50 percent is fair because marital assets should be split evenly regardless.

Maybe when you see a man deal with a good faithful woman that has endured with him from the days of humble beginnings you'll also conclude that they're bad investment and women should not waste their time and love on them.

It's easier to get attracted to men that are busy with self-improvement (physically, spiritually, financially...) that they don't have time to notice you and men that don't feel like their worth is tied to a woman saying yes. But unfortunately many men will rather focus on chasing women or getting things that will attract women. It's all about women, can't men just live their lives and allow the right girl come along. My boyfriend did that, I got attracted and surprised at him because many guys his age are busy chasing women. And I literally moved into his life like "hey I like you, I'm not bad physically so the likelihood of getting no was very low, I got a yes" . Other guys that literally chased me? I wasn't interested in them at all because they weren't fascinating, their heads was just full of women, sex and getting money illegally to flaunt in ladies faces.
On getting to know my boyfriend better he treats women with a lot of respect too, who won't be attracted to that and want to camp with him for life? He didn't need to learn smooth talking or funny pickup lines to attract fine ladies. Before I met him I had concluded that the male gender was crap and not worth marrying/ wasting time on but I met him and my mind totally changed about the male gender. On beauty, he's not blessed with natural facial beauty, that's out of his control but the things within his control? He has mastered them.
That's why I keep telling guys it's not about beauty, it's not about money or learning deception and smooth talking. Many of the girls you'll get with those things don't last and they'll end up heaping curses on you and your unborn generation when they realize the deception and facade you built to draw them in. If y'all just looked away from women for a moment and focused on yourselves you'd find women coming to you. I've had to act very jealously over my boyfriend to ward other women wanting to camp with him too😂😂. He's not as pretty or rich as many guys yet he has options he says no to and many of those girls are pretty. My advice for men is to never chase women, let her come then you can put in effort to make her stay. If she loves you she will also put in effort and it will be mutual. Never envy the smooth talking guys that deceive and "get girls" that's the recipe for disaster, it's like giving trouble and insanity an invitation to your life. Many of the girls you'd get through such ways will smash your heart with a sledge hammer. But oh well 🤷‍♀️men never get it, they'll still blame rejection on not being cute or rich enough.

So, by attacking men they are indirectly attacking the foundation of western society and safety. Already now the cracks can be seen in the deterioration of the militaries, the police force and maybe even in the willingness of men to aid women in general.
This is what women pushed for.

When you encounter one in public, do your best to ignore her and remove yourself from the situation as quickly as possible. To have a happy life you must steer clear of nut jobs as much as possible. If it can't be avoided and a crazy woman attacks you physically, then fight back as you would another man. That's my take anyway.

Men resort to alienating women because they r an “unknown” entity and women resort to emotional methods particularly those that reinforce men’s beliefs that women r emotionally weak. When we r not
But at the end of the day what is measurable is agree outcome which is the product of competence regardless of method and definitely regardless of gender
And a mutual recognition of this ultimate goal

I am a broken man. I struggle with insecurity. I love my wife but I often fail in the areas many weak men do. I've done a lot of good for her but I've hurt her many times because of my own baggage. I'm trying to be better but while I'm trying to be better life goes on and I dont always respond to her appropriately. We love each other and its hard work. Throw in the fact that as her full time disability carer life presents no breathing room to grow and avoid high pressure situations that wear us down and bring out our weaknesses. Life can be relentless and leave us in less than ideal situations to heal and be better. I feel I create as many problems as I'm trying to fix while going forward. I need Gods grace and help to come out in the end with a wife who knows I love her AND gets treated right by me when I'm run down from the burden of caring. I want my wife to have a man who loves her the way she deserves: tirelessly and supportively when she is not at her best. But no I end up feeling defensive because I lack intrinsic self esteem and crave respect so much that I feel disrespected in exchanges where the disagreements have nothing to do with whether she respects me or not. I am desperately trying to create habits that help me find space to rationalise and process arguments where she pushes my buttons and not to "react" immaturely because we both really are just broken people who want the best for the other deep down.

Don't be too hard on yourself. of course I don't know the extent of what you have described here and as they say the 'Devil is with in the detail'. But assuming its all fairly typical stuff, then its apparent you both have found yourselves in a circumstance neither of you could have expected, or foreseen, even if your wife had this disability prior to your marriage. I went through a similar experience, though I was caring for my elderly mum, not my lover, not my partner, so that makes our circumstance quite different. But all the same I can relate to the frustrations you have described. Another difference is that my mum was always so grateful to me for putting my life on hold to care for her, which ironically added to a sense of guilt inside me. But I never had to deal with the complexities of those frustrations your partner is going through being subject to this humiliating position of having the person she married and loves caring for her in ways that must make her feel like an infant at times. that must be so difficult for her. But that doesn't take away the frustrations you are going through (I've found myself using that word a lot to describe the feelings I assume you both are going through). All I can say is, don't beat yourself up for feeling negative thoughts regarding caring for your wife, as that is only human. I dont know if you seek out counselling from a therapist or psychologist but that may be very helpful having someone who is trained in understanding what others are going through comment and help guide you on the road ahead. I'll just finish in saying that even before my mother passed away a couple of years back now, even before that my love and appreciation for her grew beyond the normal love one feels for ones mother. The experience of this deep sense of love I was able to experience through caring for her was like no other love I have personally experienced. Having the opportunity to truely care for someone is life changing, and what else is there to experience in this life than that of true love for someone. beats hang gliding or rock climbing , mountaineering or snow boarding hands down.

Both my grand parents had farms 80 years ago. Both my grand mothers and grandfathers struggled in the fields together but my grandmothers would prepare meals and organise and love the children and grandchildren when we worked on the farm. Preparing meals was not a bad thing and not as physically demanding as dealing with livestock or carrying a bushel of peaches and hand washing clothes was not fun. Both the male and the female jobs sucked, but the ones that required a little more physical strength were done by men. Gender roles evolved out of necessity. Women have less testosterone and recover from physical stresses slower. Even as an elite athlete I was exhausted at the end of the day after working on the farm and every muscle ached when I rolled out of bed the next day to work in the fields and this was even when my loving grandmother coddled me. My uncle was only a few years older and worked way harder than me and jumped out of bed to do it again.
I was fortunate enough to be able to be the maternal caregiver to my young children and it was the best few years of my life. The grass is always greener in your neighbours lawn until you see it up close and realise it 's the same colour as yours.

Once I realised that it was ME who had the problem and wasn't setting my boundaries correctly, I had no problem walking away from toxic people.
    That said, I may have over-corrected 🤣

Unless you are gay then the whole RELATIONSHIP between men and women are structurually different. MOST relationships you can EASILY walk away from if they become toxic. If a guy is an a hole, its not about fighting or not fighting, you just don't hang around them. If you are in scenarios where the relationship is about whether to resort to violence, thats messed up from day one.
Women are usually different. They are usually a progresison of relationshiips, in part sexual. The ones that aren't, again, you walk away from. Labour relations are somethign else entirely, and get a union or a human resources rep if you need that.
A MAN being abused bya woman is usually FAR easier to get away from than vice versa. Sometimes not, but evne in those cases its rarely the case that you are afraid for your life.
"Arguments" are things you have when you don't know how to do conflict resolution, they are the first failing BEFORE the final blowout that often results in violence or at least verbal carnage.

The united states fiscal policy has caused all of this. We have a very centralized monetary system. The U.S. over the past 100 years has tried to stop the boom bust cycles to economies by controlling the currency. However this created inflation that grew over time.
As the inflation grew one person couldn't provide a steady income. So the mother was forced to work.

Both men and women rely on the other group to promote healthy messages and respectful behavior and dissuade their own from overstepping. What is fascinating is that we have a common problem: dealing with the unruly other leaves us with no next steps.
It is worth noting that the inability to stand up to unruly men is a key reason women are pressing men to be less dominant, aggressive and disagreeable. I think that women lack the ability to solve disagreements by force or physical confrontation, which, as Petersen notes, is the primary tool he would use to dissuade an unreasonable man. What women don't hear a lot about is that our own tool set - verbal assault, reputation destruction, screaming, gossiping, allying against a target - can also be misapplied, with harmful consequences, and that men are also not equipped to deal with our tools. I am glad Petersen shared this because men's struggle with women is the less obvious of the two juxtapositions and it is both valid and tragic.
We women ask men to police their brothers and keep their behavior in check, we should also be mindful of how we behave and discourage our sisters from abusing men, especially verbally.

The issue of aggression between genders is very complicated. What I find not pleasant to hear is the label of “crazy” from a professional psychologist. This sounds very strange and harsh as for a person who works as a clinical psychologist. Looks like a stigma on women who weren’t choosing to have a harsh relationship with men in their past, yet being called crazy because they have mental illness by a professional who supposedly should make them feel safe before they can recognise that the problem is with them.

Maybe it's because I did not listen to the root of this conversation or the beginnings of it but alas let me share my thoughts. 1st point: I graduated HS in 2017, and I did not ever hear any "anti-male" propaganda in any of my classes. If anything, a lot of my classes were dominated by young men in the case for GPAs and in the case for discourse and class discussion. That usually pushed away any possible anti male rhetoric. Furthermore, in all of my classes men were the heroes of novels, scientific discoveries, historical facts, and so forth. Never once did I, and my friends and male peers to whom I often spoke to, felt like we were being forced to read and listen to anti male rhetoric/propaganda. The most obvious cases where men were badly spoken about were recent events where men committed crimes, said foolish things to the press, and so forth. I'm unsure if what Jordan Peterson, and the like, are referencing is a very recent anti male crisis in our public schools. 2) When Peterson said that men are forbidden to handle a situation with a woman by fighting, I believe that is a good thing, and I would like to think he also believes that as well. I understand he is making conjecture that there are no ways past dialogue that men can handle a situation with women. However, I believe that is a good thing. Men should not be able to fight it out with a woman who is wrong to prove them right or put them in their place. I hope I do not have to explain to anyone who reads this WHY I believe that. I also do believe that men, all of us as a whole, should pursue the ability to dialogue and reason with crazy people, whether they are men or women, and not have to fight. Society has moved further away from physical altercations as a means for righteousness, which I believe is good. So please can anyone explain what I am not understanding from this video and their conversation? Because, to me, they seemed to have been arguing nonsense.

My experience, throughout my life, and I may be an exception, is that males were mostly good, not causing drama, being relatively reasonable. Or maybe it's because it was easy for me to understand them, because females seemed batshit crazy to me. Backstabbing, gossiping, reputation destruction, hypocrisy, I never could associate with them (when I was young. it's not the same now. women my age are as reasonable as men). I would rather see men settle their dispute at the bicycle rack, at least that's honest and fair. So all of my life, I felt I was a bro, I associated with men. But that didn't serve me so much because being part of the gang meant I wasn't really female. I'm not even sure what it means to be female, it bears some sort of shame that I carried from my upbringing (or downbringing. that's a joke).

Don't worry about the gossips. That's not what being female is. Honestly, having babies is the female super power. Men have died over and over to protect our women. We are expendable and good, strong men understand and accept that. That's why strong men will run head first into certain death, knowingly, if it will protect someone that needs it.
But every great man, had a great woman beside him. Helping him when he was vulnerable and understanding him. We are nothing without each other. I

Personal experiences are almost ALWAYS the exception. Get into a room of guys and listen to the gossiping, its pretty much the same. Backstabbing, well, almost every woman can tell you about the fact that the best friends of lots of their boyfriends were constantly hitting on them and would sleep with them in half a second despite their best friend. Thats pretty much 'backstabbing'.
For 'drama', how a woman experiences male drama or how a male experiences female drama will be VERY different, in fact likely the opposite. Most guys have ZERO idea what the women are saying or any of the drama. And SO many times I'll hear this about women, but then the men will say "fortunately its not the women I know". Meaning that its mostly hearsay.
Almost NOTHING of what the media passes off as gender identity components ever turn out to be true. Women don't cry more in public, they aren't together talking about makeup and shoes and shopping non stop, and men aren't burping and farting and talking about sports all the time.
"Drama" will be completley relative. What you say is right because of course where the drama is, is when we are young and basically finding out identity and selecting mates. Its chaos in the human world just like its chaos in the animal world.

Absolutely correct…in 2008 and 2019, I walked away from two professional positions because of crazy WOKE women…and at the time, everyone wanted me to fight back. If they were men, then I would have fought back legally.. I was in a “lose-lose” situation with crazy women and it was easier to simply make a lateral move…until more crazy WOKE women where hired in the second organization LOLO.
In fact, after about 1-2 years, they managed to push all logical, balanced, family men out…and that’s when both organizations crumbled in reputation and functionality.
In fact back in 2009, one organization (where I once worked- a circuit court) was National News because of its failures and inability to function properly. I’m glad I made the lateral move 1.5 years before it imploded.
Now I’m wondering if this university position will pander to WOKE, crazy women (professors) and demonize logical, balanced family men…it is a enduring time for normal fathers, husbands, and normal men. However if it does not kill us, then it will make us stronger. Society needs men who can endure…even though others don’t want to acknowledge it.

A woman couldn't even get a credit card without her husband's "approval". It was considered correct for a man to 'put his woman in place' even if that meant beating her. In response to that, women rose up. There are many good men in this world. My husband, son, coworkers, friends -- they are masculine, kind and secure in their own ways and understand they lens the are under. They have turned it around and have shown that GREAT men exist through transformation - not subjugation.

I watched that one video on Courtney Ryan's channel yesterday about that one girl who publically stated, that her way of living is to get intimate with the guy, cheat on him, then dump him without letting him know, repeat. Because "she wants the THRILL" and "well is it that bad if they never find out?". And that was physically painful to watch, because you know, what if a man chopped her head off and buried her somewhere in the forest? If nobody knew, by her estimation, it would be completely fine, you know, but that thought NEVER CROSSES HER BLANK MIND, BECAUSE WOMEN ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HERESY AND NONSENCE BOTH RESIDING IN THEIR HEAD OR SPOUTED OUT. So, does this hag in your opinion seeks understanding and compassion? And more important, does she deserve any?

I am a woman grown up with three brothers. I could see the difference and never accepted it because I have always thought that, before being male and female, we are persons. Same duties, same rights. That's what I look for and what I expect from society. I don't believe in any right or privilege due to who you are born, who you are born from, the colors you are born with etc. I strongly believe that we have the same general responsibilities and duties, and only after that, we all can claim the same rights. I see as immaturity and superficiality when someone says that they don't have to do "any type of thing" just because, in this case, they are a man or a woman and vice versa. If it is something needed, you do it. If you are reliable, if you are mature, if you are responsible, you take charge of everything. On the other side, you are not entitled to do, to have or to be someone only just according to your gender. Women and men, though, are generally different and have different attitudes, desires and ambitions, that's undeniable, but that doesn't have to become a rule or a paradigma. There are some women that are totally stronger than some men, as there are some men that are much better at taking care of the house than some women. There are women that are excellent professionals and men that are better in simpler situations and so on. We should judge by the result, not by who is the person in terms of professionality and everyone should feel free to choose the path they prefer, the choices they decide to take, without being judged or discriminated or hold back because of their gender.
I agree about the craziness of some controversial women, they are very hard to handle and cause o great deal of damages, on the other side I think that men need to find a way to be better, stronger, and mature people for themselves. It might be true that they have been weakened by some women, but it is also true that they should aim to become the best version of themselves, and very often I don't see that. I am glad that a lot of them take Jordan Peterson as a point of reference, He seems a very good example to follow. A man has to be strong, strong in the capacity of taking charge, of being firm in his beliefs, of being reliable, of being an honorable person.
So far, very often, we see a lot of spoiled, immature, selfish and weak men that became pray of spoiled, immature and selfish women or the opposite, predators for women. We all need to better ourselves, to become better people, better citizens, and better human beings.
